Cheryl Baker, Mark Steel, Laura Tobin and Jason Bell faced Jenny "The Vixen" Ryan in a celebrity edtion.
While Jenny caught Jason, the other three all advanced to the Final Chase.
The team set an impressive target of 19 - while managing to push back Jenny multiple times.
However, the Chaser still managed to wipe out the famous faces within her time limit.
This meant Cheryl, Mark and Laura left with £1,000 each for their charities, losing out on the £142,000 on the line.
Writing on X, one viewer commented: "Oh come on.
"Charity show yet the chaser still gets questions like 'What 3 letter word is short for magazine'. Absolute stitch up #TheChase".
Another wrote: "Bradley Walsh needs to stop speeding up when asking the chaser questions on the final round. Bit of a fix really #TheChase".
While a third shared: "@ITVChase... The game is blatantly fixed! What is the point?"
Speaking afterwards, host Bradley Walsh told the team: "Four attempts to push back, three executed, caught with three seconds remaining, you needed one more.

He added: "Jason Bell. I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to take £142,000 away."
Elsewhere, a festive celebrity episode of The Chase saw a team win £116,000 - in controversial fashion.
The group comprised Coronation Street actor Tony Maudsley, Pointless host Alexander Armstrong, Olympic gold medallist Bryony Page, and comedian Kerry Godliman.
But fans were left confused by one answer, which saw Alexander asked: "What name is given to a pointed hand tool used for making holes in the ground for seeds or young plants?"

Bradley Walsh can't stop laughing Every time host Bradley Walsh erupts into fits of laughter on The Chase it makes for pretty entertaining TV. One particularly memorable occasion was when he was asking the question 'The title of which Elvis Presley song was engraved of the inside of Freddie Star's coffin?" As usual the contestant was given four multiple choices but Bradley could get through reading them out before bursting into hysterics. Seeming the idea of the song being option 'B: Way Down' was too much for the presenter to handle.
The Double Trouble special To celebrate 15 years of The Chase on screens, ITV launched a special 'double trouble' episode where contestants faced off against not one but two of the show's beloved Chasers. And despite the odds, the contestants managed to go home with some cash!
The contestants with famous names Eagle-eyed ITV fans are always quick to spot interesting and sometimes hidden details on the quiz show - but there have been a few times where the names of some contestants have been overtly obvious. For example, one 2017 episode of the quiz show saw Bradley welcome four contestants who were named after Friends characters Ross, Rachel, Phoebe and Joey. Another group of contestants with named from The Simpsons were also grouped together in another episode, much to viewers' amusement.
The Beast's anger gets the best of him During an episode from the 2024 season, Mark Labbett let out his inner beast as he exploded in a fit of anger. Close to losing the competition in the Final Chase, Mark then made a silly mistake and incorrectly answered the question, 'Rabbit was a 1980 hit for which Cockney duo?' 'Oh, you idiot!' he yelled at himself while slamming the table in front of him. With seconds left on the clock, the Chaser then admitted defeat, moaning "I don't deserve to win."

Alexander chose dibble, which Bradley confirmed as correct.
But according to gardening enthusiasts, the proper term is "dibber", not "dibble".

Journalist Janet Street-Porter has revealed which panellists are safe and which ones are at risk amid huge cost-saving cuts at ITV Loose Women favourite Janet Street-Porter has shed light on the looming cuts coming to ITV which are set to impact several daytime shows. Panellist and journalist Janet, 78, has insisted that none of the 'older' Loose Women panellists will be going anywhere, hinting that if jobs are to be cut, it will be the newcomers or younger stars who appear on the ITV show. "There are no plans to get rid of the older women despite of what some people have said," Janet insisted. "In fact, the reserve is true. ITV actually put out a statement saying we are the valued members of the show because the audience totally relates to us." Janet added: "I think Loose Women has become a programme that is trusted by a lot of women because we talk about the issues that they are concerned about - whether it's female health, domestic violence, or how politicians don't really understand working women. "I think the show has managed to connect women who wouldn't otherwise have a voice. And it's delivered with a lot of laughs because we don't take ourselves too seriously," she told Bella. It comes as Loose Women is facing its biggest shake-up in decades, with dramatic changes that have left fans and cast members reeling as insiders fear the ITV favourite could be axed altogether within the next year. The iconic lunchtime chat show, known for its bold debates and A-list guests, is expected to cut celebrity interviews completely from January as part of sweeping budget cuts across ITV Daytime. Instead, those high-profile bookings will now reportedly be prioritised for Lorraine and This Morning, leaving Loose Women to rely solely on its panel discussions of the day's news and lifestyle topics. 'Not having guests is a big blow for both the presenters and viewers at home,' an insider revealed. 'The celebrity interviews are often one of the highlights of the show and bring a unique energy you don't get on other programmes. It feels like a strange decision to cut them altogether.' Behind the scenes, the panel - including long-serving stars like Nadia Sawalha, Ruth Langsford and Coleen Nolan - are said to be 'deeply upset' by the changes. But industry insiders warn that these measures will likely spell the end for Loose Women. An ITV spokesperson said: 'The Loose Women team is still working on the show and its content for next year.' On screen, viewers will see huge changes to the daytime schedule. Lorraine is the worst hit. It will run for 30 weeks, not 50 weeks a year, and will be slashed from an hour to 30 minutes each day. Loose Women will stay at the same running time but will also be cut to 30 weeks. This Morning will remain the same length and frequency. The Loose Women panel, including Coleen Nolan, GK Barry and Frankie Bridge, are also expected to see shifts dwindle, especially those who live outside London and charge for travel and hotels. Glam squads are also expected to be axed with stars expected to use in-house make-up. Meanwhile Good Morning Britain will be extended by 30 minutes, to run from 6am to 9.30am. For the 22 weeks of the year Lorraine is not airing, it will go on until 10am. Speaking about the huge cuts, an insider recently told The Mirror: "It's not a case of viewers seeing less of their shows… it's impossible to see how the high standards will remain the same. "Some staff believe Loose Women and Lorraine in particular will enter a death spiral… it's just so sad. Just a handful of people will be working on each of those two programmes which has huge ramifications for how they are going forward."

We were first introduced to the teen earlier this year, when an episode of the ITV soap aired that revealed what happened to April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) while she was living on the streets. Dylan was one of the few people who looked out for April while she was homeless. Her time living rough ended when she was found by a member of the public and rushed to hospital. When Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) arrived, they learnt April had given birth to a stillborn baby girl. April then returned to Mill Cottage but because of this, she never got to say a proper goodbye to her friend. Dylan then made his way to the village in search of April a few weeks later. He lived with April for a little while as he attempted to get clean from drugs. However, due to the fact Marlon was very focused on rebuilding his relationship with his daughter, it felt like Dylan was getting in the way. It led him to planting drugs from the vets on Dylan, making it seem as though he had lied to April. Dylan then made a deal with Marlon, which saw him pay for rehab on the condition Dylan would not tell April the truth. During this story, many fans of the ITV soap grew to love Dylan, which meant plenty of them were thrilled to see him tuning into the latest episode.
