Report – Inter Milan Join Juventus & Napoli In The Race For Brighton & Hove Albion Midfielder
This according to today's print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
The Nerazzurri are targeting a player with significant physicality to bolster their midfield ranks.
This would be to facilitate the transition to a 3-4-2-1 formation under Cristian Chivu.
One player Inter have reportedly considered as a target is Mandela Keita. The Parma midfielder is a player who Chivu is familiar with.
However, the Corriere report, Keita lacks the technical ability in possession to make the jump to a club like Inter.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, though, a new name as emerged on Inter's list.
The newspaper report that the Nerazzurri are eyeing up a possible deal for Brighton & Hove Albion's Matt O'Riley.
Inter consider the 24-year-old to have a similar profile to that of Roma's Manu Kone, another top target for them.
O'Riley only just joined Brighton last summer from Celtic.
The Danish international was on target from the penalty spot in Brighton's Premier League opener against Fulham yesterday.
But according to the Corriere, there is interest in snatching O'Riley away from the Seagulls.
The newspaper names both Napoli and Juventus as suitors for the Dane. Then, Inter are also considering joining the race.
The Corriere note that Inter have around €40-45 million left to spend in the transfer market this summer. Furthermore, that amount could rise with the sales of players like Kristjan Asllani.

Report – Chivu Still Deciding On Midfield For Inter Milan Vs Torino Around Suspensions & Injuries
Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu is still deciding on his midfield for next week's Serie A opening day match against Torino. This according to today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They note that the coach is working around the suspension of Hakan Calhanoglu and questionable fitness of Davide Frattesi. Inter Milan face Torino in Serie A next Monday. They are officially one week away from the start of their season. Cristian Chivu will name his first ever Inter starting eleven in Serie A. There are many doubts for the 44-year-old. He will likely stick with the 3-5-2 shape for now, despite his efforts to switch to a 3-4-2-1 formation. The Turkish international is serving a one-match suspension. Therefore, Petar Sucic could be the player to start in holding midfield. However, there are lingering doubts as to whether Chivu will trust the 21-year-old with such an important role right away. Then, it is not yet clear whether Davide Frattesi will be available. He is still trying to regain fitness after abdominal surgery.

Whirlwind Deal For Poland Star To Join Atalanta From Inter Milan Suits All Parties
A move for Nicola Zalewski to join Atalanta from Inter Milan suits all parties. This is the view in today's print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They highlight the financial side of the transfer for Inter, and the playing time for Zalewski. Inter Milan are reportedly on the verge of selling Nicola Zalewski to Atalanta. The Nerazzurri only signed the Pole on a permanent basis from Roma this summer. This after he had been on loan over the second half of last season. Inter will pocket a fee of around €17 million. This after they had signed Zalewski for a fee of €6.5 million. That gives an obvious clue as to why Inter were willing to negotiate so quickly to sell the 23-year-old. Nicola Zalewski Move To Atalanta From Inter Suits All Parties MILAN, ITALY – MAY 03: Nicola Zalewski of FC Internazionale competes for the ball with Nicolas Valentini of Hellas Verona FC during the Serie A match between FC Internazionale and Hellas Verona FC at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on May 03, 2025 in Milan, Italy. (Photo by) While Inter do end up with a hole in their squad depth as a result of selling Zalewski, the Polish international was hardly a first-choice starter. And there was no indication in preseason that coach Cristian Chivu planned to use Zalewski. By contrast, Atalanta coach Ivan Juric had pushed to keep hold of Zalewski when he was briefly in charge of Roma. That is an indication that the Croat trusts Zalewski to play a big role. Therefore, the 23-year-old can get plenty of playing time at the Gewiss Arena, on the left flank which has been an area of need.

Report – Inter Milan & France Star Offered To Barcelona
Inter Milan defender Benjamin Pavard has reportedly been offered to Barcelona this summer. This according to Spanish outlet Sport, via FCInterNews. They report, however, that the Blaugranas are not currently thinking about signing the Frenchman. In the last couple of weeks, rumours regarding Benjamin Pavard's future have started to heat up. The 29-year-old only just signed for Inter Milan two years ago. The Nerazzurri signed him from Bayern Munich in 2023. And Pavard, when fit, has been a key player under departed Inter coach Simone Inzaghi. However, there is perhaps a feeling that the France international cannot guarantee regular availability. And furthermore, Pavard may not suit the playing style under new coach Cristian Chivu as well as he had done that of Inzaghi. (Photo by) According to Spanish outlet Sport, Benjamin Pavard's agent Pini Zahavi has suggested the player to Barcelona. Zahavi is also the representative of Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski and coach Hansi Flick. Furthermore, Flick has already worked with Pavard while coach of Bayern Munich. According to Sport, though, Barcelona don't currently see a right-sided centre-back as a priority. Rather, the Spanish champions want to complete the registrations of Wojcjech Szczesny, Gerard Martin, Marc Bernal, and Roony Bardhj. Furthermore, Barcelona could target a defender to replace Inigo Martinez on the left of the defense. Therefore, Sport report, Pavard is not currently a priority.
