Stellar Blade Nikke DLC release time and everything we know about expansion
Alongside a fresh PC port, Stellar Blade is gearing up for a significant new crossover with Goddess of Victory: Nikke, offering players new outfits, boss battles and mini-games to keep them entertained.
Stellar Blade isn't done just yet. Since its explosive debut in April 2024 on PS5, it has essentially become the poster child for high-tech, hack-and-slash combat on Sony 's console family, further cementing its reputation with an impressive crossover DLC with Nier: Automata.
The game made a smashing first impression, and while many players have moved onto other games, it's making a comeback with another DLC – this time crossing paths with the sci-fi RPG Goddess of Victory: Nikke.
It's a clever crossover – after all, female characters in lethal combat is one of the main draws for both games – and with parent company Shift Up overseeing both properties, it's a hugely profitable strategy. It's not just a cosmetic upgrade either, as it will feature its own boss fight and songs from Nikke.
The good news continues as the game is soon to debut on PC for the first time, complete with both DLC packs. It will offer players NVIDIA DLSS 4 resolution scaling and completely unlocked frame rates.
This means if you've got a top-notch PC setup, you could be about to experience the game in the best possible way. Despite new games capturing players' attention with showcase season reveals, it appears that Stellar Blade is vying for the attention of both old and returning players.
But when exactly does the Stellar Blade crossover DLC launch? Here's what you need to know about the Stellar Blade Nikke DLC release time.
Stellar Blade Nikke DLC release time
The Stellar Blade Nikke DLC is set to launch at 3pm PDT / 6pm EDT / 11pm BST on Wednesday, June 11. The DLC is scheduled to launch simultaneously with the game's PC port, as announced in a recent Sony blog post, and they will roll out together worldwide.
The arrival of the DLC is fantastic news for fans of both games, as they join forces for a significant content collaboration. It's also great news for players eager to dive into the action on PC, with both of the game's existing DLC available to them on the same day.

Battlefield 6 second beta has more bugs than the first one say fans
EA has acknowledged there are certain problems with Battlefield 6's second beta, with some claiming it's buggier than the first one. While it's still too early to gauge Battlefield 6's success, especially since the game's not due until October and is competing against Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7, first impressions have been overall positive. The first open beta, in particular, was a huge hit, attracting more players than Call Of Duty. While the initial beta wrapped up this past weekend, a second one has already begun and includes a new map and gameplay modes to warrant a revisit. Unfortunately, this second beta risks losing some of the goodwill the first one created, since there are reports of players encountering multiple issues, both on PC and consoles. EA has acknowledged the beta is suffering from matchmaking problems at the moment, and is promising to have these resolved ASAP, according to the official Battlefield Reddit account. 'The team is aware of ongoing matchmaking issues for some of our players when attempting to matchmake on playlists. We're actively investigating this and working towards a solve as soon as possible,' it reads. In a follow-up comment, EA has advised you 'ensure that you have the most recent client update' or try using the repair functionality if you're trying to access the beta through the EA app. Sign up to the GameCentral newsletter for a unique take on the week in gaming, alongside the latest reviews and more. Delivered to your inbox every Saturday morning. There are also reports of DLSS and DLAA not working either, but EA believes it's figured out what's causing this and should have it resolved later today. If you missed the first beta and fancy playing the second one, doing so is very simple. It's freely available to download via Steam, the PlayStation Store, and the Xbox store with no code or special access required. Just go to the online stores and search for Battlefield 6, and you'll find it available to download, as if it was an ordinary free-to-play game. The easier access is obvious a benefit, but it sounds like the beta has more issues besides matchmaking not working properly. A quick look through the Battlefield 6 subreddit brings up multiple threads from players suffering from crashes or struggling to get the beta working in the first place. It's already claimed that it's buggier than the first beta, with a handful of players reporting instances of losing health when switching classes and instantly dying with nothing to indicate they were even hit. More Trending If the current player numbers on Steam are anything to go by, though, these issues may not be too widespread. At the time of writing, there are roughly 367,000 people playing the beta according to SteamDB. Those numbers aren't as high as the 500,000+ it enjoyed last weekend, but it's not too significant of a drop and can be justified by it being a Thursday afternoon (or morning from a US perspective). So, things will likely jump up once the weekend hits. Hopefully, there won't be as many cheaters plaguing the beta this week either. It wasn't a good look for EA considering it's implementing brand new anti-cheat software. That said, those instances have ideally helped improve the software, with EA claiming it has successfully prevented at least 330,000 cheating attempts. The Amiga to get a major game sequel after nearly 30 years of waiting
Out of nowhere, an Amiga port of a beloved god game has been announced for launch later this year. Although the days of the Amiga are long gone – it celebrated its 40th anniversary just last month – there is still a dedicated and passionate audience for it, even in the 2020s. Aside from the release of the A500 Mini console in 2022, there have been plenty of attempts to revive several franchises associated with the old 16-bit home computer, such as the promising looking reboot of sports game Speedball and new mobile games for James Pond… albeit ones without the original creator's approval. However, the latest Amiga revival is the wildest and most unlikely so far: a new port of 1996's The Settlers 2, specifically made for the Amiga, that brings it to the ancient format 29 years after the original PC version. For context, The Settlers is a still ongoing series of what would now be called city builders but at the time its primary influence was god games such as Peter Molyneux's Populous. The most recent entry was a reboot in 2023, while the first entry in the series debuted on the Amiga in 1993. However, the 1996 sequel, The Settlers 2, skipped the format and only ever launched for PC. So, you can imagine how surprising it is to hear that publisher Ubisoft has chosen now, of all times, to approve of an Amiga port. Although it was probably originally meant to coincide with the 40th anniversary. Sign up to the GameCentral newsletter for a unique take on the week in gaming, alongside the latest reviews and more. Delivered to your inbox every Saturday morning. It's set to be the Gold Edition of the game from 1997, which is a re-release of the original that adds more content and gameplay tweaks. Ubisoft itself isn't publishing the port and has instead given permission to German publisher Look Behind You, with pre-orders already available on its website. 'Officially licensed by Ubisoft Entertainment, The Settlers 2 Gold Edition will be available natively for the Amiga starting October 18, 2025,' it reads. Unsurprisingly, Look Behind You is offering multiple versions of the game. The cheapest is a digital-only copy available for €29.90 (about £26) while a physical edition that includes manuals and a world atlas costs €49.90 (about £43). More Trending There was a limited collector's edition going for €99.90 (about £86), that came in a special wooden box featuring 'the iconic castle motif from the first part of The Settlers,' but all 100 copies of it have already sold out. Word of the announcement seems to have only recently reached the dedicated Amiga subreddit, which is naturally thrilled to see The Settlers 2 finally be playable on the hardware. 'All the investment in my Amiga 500+ pistorm setup is finally about to pay off!' cheers Ewaryst. Anxious_Ad781 excitedly writes, 'Ordered! Ordered! Now October can come!', while Who_Me admits the news has them considering pulling their Amiga 500 out of storage. Email gamecentral@ leave a comment below, follow us on Twitter.
