Justin Bieber fans slam 'ridiculous' prices the singer's charging for his 'basic' new clothing brand
The singer, 31, launched the highly-anticipated brand on Thursday after over a year of teasing his streetwear designs on social media.
SKYLRK is Justin's latest foray into fashion after he severed ties with his old brand Drew House, which he co-founded in 2018 with ex-friend Ryan Good, back in April.
Thursday's first unisex drop included essential basics like oversized hoodies and tank tops as well as beanies, slide sandals and sunglasses.
But as eager fans ventured to the SKYLRK website, many were left stunned and disappointed by the 'expensive' collection.
The site is currently selling the 'Zip Hoodie' for $160, the 'Beanie' for $40, the 'Women's Tank' for $60, the 'Men's Tank' for a currently unspecified price, the 'Chunky Mule' shoes for $180, the 'Beach Slide' sandals for $80 and the controversial 'Upside Down' sunglasses for $200.
Potential customers flooded the SKYLRK Instagram page with comments slamming Bieber for not considering what 'regular, working people' can afford.
'Price is ridiculous for a plain style, not worth it,' one fan penned.
Another added: 'Bieber I love you but the price'
'Why is everything soooo expensive?? more than half of us can't even buy this stuff. Create a brand that is affordable and universal for everyone,' a different fan wrote.
They also criticized the suspected 'quality' of the 'overpriced' clothing, with some wildly speculating that Justin is attempting to upsell items originally made in China.
'This stuff probably costs $5 to make and he's making $175 on these shoes,' one commenter speculated.
Some fans went as far as to take aim at Justin's reported financial troubles, with one commenting: 'Prices are crazy. We know you're broke but damn!?!'
Others began comparing the SKYLRK prices to the prices of Drew House as well as other celebrity clothing lines like Kim Kardashian's SKIMS.
Several fans claimed that Drew House was 'less expensive' than SKYLRK, with ABC News previously reporting that prices for the brand ranged from $48 - $148.
However, many fans came to Justin's defense as they suggested that SKYLRK is meant to be a 'HIGH FASHION steer wear brand' not an 'affordable' line.
'This is not merch . If you are concerned about the pricing it's not for you'
Justin has yet to comment publicly on the SKYLRK backlash.

The slipper-like 'Chunky Mule' shoes retail for $180
The ill-received launch comes days after Justin was brutally roasted for modeling pieces from his fashion line.
The star snapped selfies in a mirror inside wife Hailey's walk-in wardrobe at their Beverly Hills mansion.
A smiling Bieber flashed his neck tattoo as he flaunted the cobalt blue ensemble in front of five racks of what appears to be Hailey's designer clothes collection.
Justin finished his look with a pair of fluffy high socks as he admired himself in front of an LED full-length mirror—cluttered behind a dozen boxes of women's high heel shoes and overflowing jewelry boxes.
He completed his ensemble with a pair of matching blue sliders, which he also wore out and about in Hollywood on Friday to visit a spa.
The post, which is tagged with @skylrk and a heart-hands emoji quickly drew ire from his enormous fanbase of 294million on Instagram.
Bieber has been teasing SKYLRK since December 2023.
Justin has been frequently sharing updates on the progress of his brand on social media, using his 294million followers as a test market for mock-ups and samples.

The singer and his wife Hailey both wore the brand to Coachella earlier this year.
At one point, the star teased that he was planning to release a SKYLRK phone case that looked near-identical to Hailey's famous Rhode cases, which feature a holder on the back for the makeup line's best-selling lip glosses.
But instead of holding lip gloss, Justin showed that his version of the case was made to be used to store marijuana blunts.
However, the item was notably absent from Thursday's launch.
In April, Justin publicly cut ties with his first streetwear brand Drew House and even encouraged his fans to no longer support the line.
'I Justin Bieber am no longer involved in this brand. Drew House doesn't represent me or my family or life,' the star posted to Instagram.
'If your (sic) rocking with me the human Justin Bieber don't waste ur money on Drew House.'
Days prior to his post, the star signaled that his relationship with Drew House was over when he posted an animated video of himself setting a house filled with Drew House-branded items ablaze.
A source closely connected to Drew House and its employees told PEOPLE at the time: 'The SKYLRK announcement was a slap in the face to all the people who had been working hard on the next Drew House release.'
The SKYLRK's release came hours before Justin surprised fans by releasing his long-awaited seventh studio album.
Bieber's new LP Swag dropped at midnight ET/9 p.m. PT following the launch earlier in the day of billboards around the world and a rush of social media posts.
The star left fans plenty to chew on with newly released songs featuring cryptic lyrics, including Walking Away, which seems to allude to his reported marriage problems with his wife Hailey Bieber, 28.
One track, Therapy Session, was nothing but a skit between Bieber and the actor and comedian Druski in which they appeared to defend his mental health and recent bizarre social media meltdowns against fans claiming that 'he's f***in' losin' his mind.'
Justin released the album, which features 21 songs, four years after his previous album Justice dropped to mixed reviews but solid sales.
Swag features guest vocals from Gunna and Cash Cobain, as well as a particularly raunchy verse from the rapper Sexyy Red that left fans blushing and begging for a sweeter version without her.
As Bieber quickly publicized the album, he and his wife Hailey shared numerous moody photographs of the two and their 10-month-old son Jack Blues that appeared to have been shot for the album.
The singer launched multiple billboards around the globe on Thursday that appeared to promote the album, with images spotted in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Reykjavík, Iceland.
Some of the promotional images included what looked like a track listing for the LP, though it wasn't certain if they reflected the final track order.
The apparent song titles for Swag include All I Can Take, Daisies, Yukon, Go Baby, Things You Do, Butterflies, Way It Is, First Place, Soulful, Walking Away, Glory Voice Memo, Devotion, Dadz Love, Therapy Session, Sweet Spot, 405, Swag, Zuma House, Too Long and Forgiveness.
One song title that was notably missing from the billboard track listings was number 16, Standing On Business.
It's not a full-fledged song, but rather another skit between Bieber and Druski that features audio from a confrontation the singer had with paparazzi last month in which he uttered the viral phrase, 'It's not clocking to you that I'm standing on business, is it?'
Swag is the highly-anticipated follow-up to Justin's last album Justice, which was released in 2021.
The album garnered critical acclaim and spawned successful commercial tracks such as Peaches, a Billboard Hot 200 chart-topper; and the top 10 hits Holy, Anyone and Ghost. A lot has changed in Justin's personal life since 2021 including welcoming a child with wife Hailey.
In February 2023, Bieber officially canceled the remainder of his Justice World Tour after the singer said he was diagnosed with the condition Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which can lead to facial paralysis.
Bieber had previously had to cancel shows on the tour in the fall of 2022, explaining his absences from the stage in an emotional post on his Instagram Stories.
'Earlier this year, I went public with my battle with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, where my face was partially paralyzed,' he said. 'As a result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North American leg of the Justice Tour.
He also split from longtime manager Scooter Braun in 2023.
Back in January 2023, he sold his entire music catalog - featuring songs from his entire 15 year recording career - for a whopping $200million.
His music was to Blackstone-backed Hipgnosis Songs Capital for over $200million the company announced at the time.
The star is worth an estimated $300million and has sold 150million records worldwide, making him one of the most successful recording artists in history.
Hailey showed support for Swag on Thursday while also hitting out at 'losers' who've speculated about their marriage over the last several months.
The Rhode founder re-posted a photo of Justin's massive Swag billboard in NYC 's Times Square to her Instagram Story with the caption: 'Is it finally clocking to you f***ing losers?'
She appeared to suggest that Justin's recent bizarre behavior wasn't the result of any marriage troubles but due to him being hard at work on his long-awaited music, which he partially recorded in Iceland back in April.

Justin Bieber suffers embarrassing moment as his pants fall off exposing his underwear
Justin Bieber suffered an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction at a listening party for his new album, Swag, hosted by Spotify in collaboration with his apparel brand, Skylrk. In new footage, captured by Pop Faction, the Canadian pop star, 31, could be seen struggling with his pants, before they dropped down past his knees while he spoke to a group of friends backstage. Despite the embarrassing moment at the Bird Street Club in West Hollywood, the father-of-one seemed unfazed as he quickly pulled his bottoms back up. The Baby hitmaker, who is married to beauty mogul Hailey Bieber, is often seen in baggy, low-slung trousers, so low they frequently expose his underwear. Fans of the performer expressed concern and confusion in the comments section of the now-viral video circulating on social media.. 'How can you actually have any comfort walking around with your pants down your legs. How?' one asked. Another commented: 'I use to be a big fan. But it's time that we grow up and have a reality check. I hope he gets back to the great musicians that he can be.' 'At what point does it become public indecency?' a third wrote. A fourth quipped: 'I still don't get it how it could be -- let so called -- style. More than malfunctioning in purpose.. but for unclear reason. Is that called fashion??' Despite some sharing worry over Justin's mental health, others reminded fellow social media users that his pants have been falling down since the early 2010s. Throughout the party, Justin appeared to have a great time as he entertained the crowd, sipped a beer, danced to his own music and hit golf balls. On Saturday, the two-time Grammy winner shared a slideshow of behind-the-scenes photos from the event, including a picture of him kissing Hailey. Other celebrities in attendance included John Mayer, Madison Beer, The Kid Laroi and former Disney Channel star Kyle Massey, according to TMZ. Following its release on July 11, 2025, Swag debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. His seventh record earned praise from Billboard, which commended him for using music to take control over 'the present narrative' and 'his and his family's future.' The publication's deputy editor Lyndsey Havens also pointed to one song as a sign of Bieber's maturity when it comes to his much-speculated marriage. 'Walking Away is a goosebump-raising confessional about why Bieber isn't 'walking away' from his marriage — no matter how tough it gets. 'We better stop before we say some s–t, we've been testing our patience,' he admits, before declaring, 'Baby, I ain't walking away." 'This song functions like a refreshingly honest vow renewal, as Bieber recalls giving Hailey her ring and promising to change.' He also appears to reference Hailey in Go Baby, giving her a shoutout. 'That's my baby, she's iconic/ iPhone case, lip gloss on it,' sings Bieber, speaking of his wife Hailey and her Rhode beauty empire, which recently sold to Elf Beauty in $1 billion deal. 'Sure, things may not always be perfect — but isn't that the beauty of having a partner to celebrate the good and brave the bad with? And for the Biebers, they have to live their highs and lows out loud. 'Go Baby' proves that there's no love lost — rather, they're one another's biggest fans when they need it most,' Havens writes. Swag marks Bieber's follow-up to 2021's Justice, which spawned hits like Hold On, Peaches, and Lonely, and led to a world tour that was cut short in 2022 after Bieber announced he was stepping back to prioritize his health. Since then, the singer has made headlines for everything but music — welcoming his first child, Jack Blues Bieber, with wife Hailey in August 2024, while also facing mounting speculation over his mental health, cryptic online behavior, and rumored tension in his marriage.

Hollywood nepo baby is the spitting image of her heartthrob dad... but do you know who she is?
She's the daughter of one of Hollywood's most famous heartthrobs, and fans can't get over just how much she looks like him. Ella Bleu Travolta, 25, is the only daughter of Grease and Pulp Fiction star John Travolta, and her resemblance to her famous father has only grown more striking with age. From her piercing blue eyes to that signature Travolta smile, Ella is the spitting image of John during his leading man heyday. But Ella isn't just another celebrity nepo child riding on her parents' fame. She's carving out a career of her own in music, film and fashion. Born in April 2000 to John and the late actress Kelly Preston, Ella grew up in the spotlight alongside older brother Jett and younger brother Benjamin. Tragically, Jett passed away in 2009 following a seizure during a family holiday in the Bahamas. Ella started acting when she was just a kid, and she made her big screen debut in 2009's Old Dogs, starring opposite both her parents. She later appeared in The Poison Rose in 2019 and recently wrapped filming Get Lost, a modern-day reimagining of Alice in Wonderland. However, it's music where she seems to have really found her niche. In 2022, she released her debut single Dizzy, followed by tracks No Thank You and Little Bird. The latter song is a moving tribute to her mother, who passed away in 2020 after battling breast cancer. 'Little Bird is about holding onto those pure relationships that you have with people that you lost and really just listening to yourself and staying true to that relationship with that person,' Ella told People. 'It's sort of the viewpoint of a mama bird talking to a baby bird and just not letting any other interference get in between it, because your true instincts were there all along.' She continued: 'It had been a couple years, obviously, since my mom's passing, so I could look at the whole situation and take a step back from it and see what I wanted to communicate on it and what I wanted to communicate to her and what I was feeling in general.' She's also made waves in the fashion world, landing the cover of Hunger Magazine in 2024, wearing a vintage Chanel look previously worn by Taylor Swift at a Kansas City Chiefs game, per Page Six. Since then, Ella has been spotted in front rows at fashion week in Madrid and Milan, appearing alongside European royalty like Princess Diana's niece, Lady Kitty Spencer, and Princess Alexandra of Hanover, per Hola. Ella remains close with her dad as John often shares sweet birthday tributes and throwback videos with her on social media. In a recent birthday post, he called his daughter 'gracious, generous, funny, beautiful, kind, and deeply talented.' The actor also loves to celebrate Ella's accomplishments and often posts about her magazine covers and song releases.

Wednesday FIRST LOOK: Netflix tease Billie Piper's new role in hit gothic comedy as British actress joins the cast for its second season
Netflix has given Wednesday fans a first look at Billie Piper in her new role on the show, in which she will star alongside Jenna Ortega. The gothic comedy, which follows the antics of Wednesday Addams (played by Ortega), debuted on the streaming service in November 2022. It was quickly renewed for a second series in January 2023. Now, Netflix has unveiled Billie, 42, as Isadora Capri - a captivating new character at Nevermore Academy, where she serves as the school's head of music. Described as a former child prodigy, Isadora is brilliant, intense, and enigmatic. She takes a special interest in Wednesday's musical talents and also mentors fellow werewolf Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers). Billie's casting adds an intriguing layer to the series, given her background in supernatural and gothic roles, notably as Brona Croft/The Bride of Frankenstein in Penny Dreadful. The new images come after Netflix revealed the future of Wednesday beyond the upcoming series two, and fans of the chart-topping show are all saying the same thing. The American supernatural comedy series follows Jenna, 22, as the spooky Wednesday Addams. It is one in a series of takes over the years on The Addams Family, the eccentric fictional old-money clan, famously macabre and gothic in manner and look. The second series of the Emmy-winning programme, executive produced and often directed by horror icon Tim Burton, 66, is set for release in August. And now, it has been announced that not only will Wednesday be back for a third series, but a spin-off programme is currently under discussion, according to Hollywood Reporter. Fans were delighted to hear the fate of the beloved show has been secured, taking to social media to express their excitement. Catherine Zeta-Jones, 55, who plays creepy matriarch Morticia Addams, posted on Instagram confirming the news: 'When Wednesday comes a better day. 'Wednesday season three. It's official... we shall return.' One fan wrote in the comments section: 'And for many more seasons.'; 'I love this because then they can start filming soon and it won't be such a long pause between seasons! Or that's the hope!' The second series was announced in January 2023, but by the time it comes out later this year, it will have been more than two years in the making. Other users wrote, 'Season three? Hold on!', and, 'I'm excited about this.' Someone else added: 'I'll be gripping the sheets in agony waiting but please... don't let us wait three years again.' Another commenter wrote: 'Shut up. Season three?! Amazing!' One penned: 'I can't wait to see the second season, I'm waiting for it with great curiosity... and the third is already official, fantastic news!' The first series of Wednesday follows the titular troublemaker character after she is expelled and transferred to Nevermore Academy, a school for monstrous outcasts. Her cool, creepy manner and rebellious streak often see her in trouble and struggling to fit in. But after she discovers she is a psychic like her mother and applies her skills to solving a local murder case, she soon finds her stride. The programme boasts an impressive regular cast, with Game of Thrones' Gwendoline Christie and Narcos' Luis Guzman also starring. They feature as Nevermore headteacher Larissa Weems and Wednesday's father, Gomez Addams, respectively. The upcoming second series looks to be even more star-studded, with Lady Gaga, Joanna Lumley, Steve Buscemi, and Thandiwe Newton also joining the cast. Star Jenna and director Tim also worked together on Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the 2024 sequel to the original 1988 horror film starring Winona Ryder. And they have now told all about what fans can expect from the upcoming second series and the newly announced third instalment. Scream queen Jenna, who rose to fame in slashers Scream, X and Scream VI, was embroiled in controversy in recent months for comments she made during a podcast interview. She said she spent her time on the show 'changing lines' and 'had to put my foot down' because 'everything I had to play did not make sense for the character'. Jenna said she felt terrible about this and never meant it that way, simply meaning to say she improvised a lot and was permitted to. Tim sympathised with her, feeling the comments had been interpreted in a way she had not meant. But the pair revealed that after these events, Jenna is now a producer on the show. Co-creator Alfred Gough, who made the show with Miles Millar, said this made sense, as she is already so involved in every part of the show, as well as giving notes on the script, in a way he praised. Wednesday's first series pulled in a whopping 252million viewers globally, making it Netflix's biggest English-language series of all time. Alfred has now teased a spin-off: 'It's something we're definitely noodling; there are other characters we can look at.' Netflix chief content officer Bela Bajaria, meanwhile, added: 'There's a lot to explore in the Addams Family.' New cast member Joanna Lumley previously told Netflix news site Tudum: 'There's always something thrilling about working for Tim Burton. 'His whole mind takes him to a different world, and the world that they've created here for Wednesday and Nevermore and the family is just intoxicating. 'It's wonderful. I get to wear many, many huge wigs, one on top of the other — and lots of quite constraining clothes, so I love it.'
