Bad news, Matt? Tammy Hembrow's ex-husband looks downcast as he reads the paper during solo coffee outing after influencer hooks up with AFL heartthrob Bailey Smith
The former Love Island star, 29, looked glum as he absorbed the news of the hook-up at a café in Melbourne.
After reading a newspaper inside the eatery, he sat alone at a small table outside and looked engrossed while looking at something on his phone, with the weight of recent events appearing to hang heavy on him.
At one point, he appeared tense while deep in conversation on a phone call.
The single podcast host looked as though he just left the house, dressed in black tracksuit pants paired with a white T-shirt and black bomber jacket.
The outing comes after Matt admitted that he was hurt seeing Tammy step out with Geelong Cats star Bailey, 24, – just days after claiming she was happily single following the breakdown of their marriage.

When approached for comment on the photos of Tammy and Bailey, Matt told a reporter: 'I heard about this and it's not a nice feeling.
'We only broke up eight weeks ago. I just don't understand how someone can move on so quickly. It's been 48 days and I'm still trying to work out how I feel as a person after committing in marriage. I'm trying to focus on myself and heal.'
Tammy was spotted cosying up to Bailey during a lunch date on the Gold Coast on Saturday – after the long-haired midfielder flew in from Melbourne just to see her.
The Cats' new recruit was riding high after helping his team thrash Essendon at GMHBA Stadium on Friday night.
By Saturday morning, he was on a flight to Brisbane for his secret weekend rendezvous with Tammy.
Bailey didn't skimp on their date, taking her out for a swanky meal at Pan-Asian hotspot Rick Shores at Burleigh Heads, where the pair were anything but discreet.
Tammy - braless, of course - turned heads in a semi-sheer cropped tank top which she teamed with baggy jeans, white heels and a $5,000 Chanel Boy Bag.
Bailey - his code's most eligible bachelor - dressed down for the occasion in denim and a blue polo shirt and let his signature Tarzan-like mane of blond hair flow freely.
It looked to be a serious outing for the once carefree reality TV star, who until just months ago claimed his relationship with Tammy was going as strong as ever
The chemistry was undeniable, with the two seen leaving the venue hand–in–hand, laughing and whispering as they spied our photographer.
After lunch, it's quite possible the two made the 15-minute journey to Hembrow's $2.88 million waterfront home in Broadbeach Waters to get to know each other better.
That same day, Tammy shared a gallery of snaps on Instagram while clad in sultry lingerie.
Bailey jetted back to Melbourne on Sunday to resume training ahead of Geelong's clash with the Swans at the SCG.
But it was upon his return to Melbourne Airport that Bailey made a telling remark that hinted at a deeper connection with Tammy.
When our photographer mispronounced Tammy's surname - saying 'Hem–brow' instead of 'Hem–bro' - Bailey scolded him.
'It's Hem-bro, not Hem-brow,' he snapped - a protective four-word correction that hints this could be more than a casual fling.
'F**kin' hell, do your research,' he added.
Pressed on whether he and Tammy were officially an item, Bailey played coy: 'What do you want me to say?' he muttered.

Apple and Google found to have breached Australia's competition laws in landmark court case
Tech giants Apple and Google have been found to have engaged in anti-competitive conduct, paving the way for a payout that could be worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Epic Games, the developer of popular online game Fortnite, sued the two tech giants in the Federal Court, claiming they engaged in anti-competitive and unconscionable conduct against those developing apps distributed through iOS and Android devices. The lawsuit was launched after Epic was booted from Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store after attempting to introduce its own payment system into Fortnite games in August 2020. Justice Jonathan Beach on Tuesday found Apple and Google had breached Australia's competition laws, upholding key elements of Epic's case. Apple had a 'substantial degree of market power' because of the restrictions placed on in-app payment systems and the distribution of iOS compatible apps, he said. Google also had a significant degree of market power and was the predominant supplier of Android apps, the court was told. The tech companies' dominance had the effect of substantially lessening competition and breached Australia's competition laws, Justice Beach found. However, he rejected Epic's argument Apple had engaged in unconscionable conduct. Justice Beach also found in favour of a class action lawsuit comprising Australian developers and gamers who claimed Apple and Google's monopolistic practices led to inflated prices. The app developers had to pay higher commissions than they otherwise would have if there was more competition in the market Lawyers for the plaintiffs welcomed the result as a significant win for consumer rights and digital fairness that could have global implications for how digital platforms operate. 'This judgment is a turning point,' said Kimi Nishimura from Maurice Blackburn Lawyers. 'It sends a clear message that even the most powerful corporations must play by the rules and respect the rights of consumers and developers alike.' The lawyers said the decision could result in 'one of the largest class action payouts in Australian legal history with potential compensation of several hundreds of millions of dollars to come from two global corporate Goliaths'. The parties have been given time to consider the 2000-page judgment and will return to the Federal Court at a later date to determine compensation and directives aimed at increasing transparency. A Google spokesperson said the company disagreed with the court's characterisation of its billing policies and practices and would review the full decision. The Epic Games Store and Fortnite will come to iOS in Australia! An Australian court just found that Apple and Google abuse their control over app distribution and in-app payments to limit competition. There are 2,000+ pages of findings that we'll need to dig into to fully... - Epic Games Newsroom (@EpicNewsroom) August 12, 2025 Apple welcomed the 'rejection of some of Epic's claims, however, we strongly disagree with the court's ruling on others.' Epic Games took to social media to herald the result and say Fortnite would return to iOS soon. 'A federal judge just found that Apple and Google both engaged in anti-competitive conduct,' the company wrote. 'Another HUGE Win for Epic Games!' Epic won a separate US case against Google in 2023 after a jury found it had engaged in anti-trust conduct through the Google Play Store. It was less successful in its case against Apple, although the court found the tech giant had engaged in anti-competitive conduct. Apple has also been forced to implement changes to its App Store in Europe, including allowing third-party payment systems.

Bizarre moment former Australian prime minister Tony Abbott is seen directing traffic in a car park
Australia's 28th prime minister Tony Abbott has been spotted in a role few would expect - directing traffic in a busy Sydney CBD car park. A driver recently exited the underground car park beneath the Theatre Royal Sydney on King Street, and was greeted by Abbott as he used hand signals to guide vehicles through the congestion. The former leader appeared completely at ease, although no hi-vis was in sight but rather he was wearing business clothes that wouldn't be out of place in parliament. Footage surfaced on social media this week, but it is believed to have been filmed in June during the 40th anniversary run of Cats the Musical, which is currently showing at the historic theatre. Daily Mail understands that theatregoers had just poured out of the evening performance, creating a significant traffic jam underground as dozens of cars tried to leave at the same time. Abbott then stepped in to help ease the chaos, waving drivers forward and helping them navigate the bottleneck. While the sight of a former prime minister managing traffic may seem surprising, it's not out of character for Abbott. He has been a volunteer with the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) Davidson Brigade in northern Sydney for more than 20 years. RFS members are often trained in traffic control and assist in such duties during emergencies, skills Abbott has put to use both during disasters. Throughout and after his political career, Abbott has been frequently seen on the front lines of major crises. During the catastrophic 2019–2020 Black Summer bushfires, he was seen running into a burning home to help extinguish the flames. In 2018, he was spotted battling aggressive fires in the NSW Hunter region. His latest hands-on act drew a number of responses. 'I'm impressed. That's leader behavior,' one person commented. 'What a comeback,' said someone else. 'Doing more for the community than Albo,' wrote another. Others speculated on why Abbott was in the area in the first place. One commenter suggested it might have been a social visit. 'Was probs visiting John Howard who has his offices in that building in Martin Place. Seen them there quite often,' he claimed. It's not known if Abbott had been in the theatre to catch a performance of Cats. Though, if he had, it wouldn't be his first foray into feline capers. About a decade ago while sitting PM, it was revealed Abbott's office had penned 130 pages of correspondence about a web browser extension someone had made, Stop Tony Meow, that swapped pictures of the former Liberal leader with kittens.

Joshua Jackson sparks romance rumors with Bridgerton star Simone Ashley
played into fan rumors of a new romance after he was spotted getting cozy with the actress Simone Ashley over the weekend. The 47-year-old Dawson's Creek star was pictured strolling with the 30-year-old Bridgerton actress on Saturday in New York City. Jackson and Ashley were spending time together two years after his divorce from Jodie Turner-Smith, with whom he has a five-year-old daughter, Juno with. Ashley's last relationship was more recent, as she revealed in February of this year that she and Constantin Klein had split after nearly three years together. Her meet-up with Jackson was particularly intriguing, as it appears to be the first time the two have been pictured together. For his outing with Ashley, the actor looked ultra-casual look in a plain white T-shirt paired with relaxed gray pants, paired with dark-green Nike trainers with orange accents. Ashley looked cool and collected in a gray satin crop top with a white lace border, which she paired with a gray midi skirt which featured a scale-like pattern. She added a splash of color with a large yellow mesh bag, and completed her low-key ensemble with chunky white trainers and slim tortoiseshell cat-eye sunglasses. Both beamed at various points along their route but neither actor displayed any form of PDA. The actress is best known for her role as Kate, Viscountess Bridgerton, who enters the historical romance after moving to England from India. The actress, who was born in England to Indiana Tamil parents, is also known for starring in another Netflix series, Sex Education. Her past roles have included supporting parts on TV series such as Broadchurch and The Sister, but Ashley has lately been establishing herself as an in-demand film star. After small parts in Detective Pikachu and Disney's live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, Ashley scored a cameo as herself in Brad Pitt's racing drama F1, and she has been spotted filming an unspecified part in The Devil Wears Prada 2 recently. Jackson was previously married to actress and model Jodie Turner-Smith from 2019 until late 2023. The former couple met in October 2018 at Usher's birthday party and are believed to have begun dating shortly afterward. Their whirlwind romance happened out of the spotlight, as it was revealed in late December 2019 that the lovebirds had already wed. Then, in January of 2020, it was revealed that they were expecting their first child after Turner-Smith was seen with a baby bump in public. On April 21, 2020, their daughter Juno was born. The couple seemed to have an ideal marriage, and they rarely missed the opportunity to praise each other in interviews in the first years of their marriage. It was therefore a shock to fans when Turner-Smith filed for divorce in October of 2023.
