Erling Haaland's Roman Holiday: Man City forward and girlfriend Isabel Haugseng Johansen attend star-studded Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda fashion show

Daily Mail15-07-2025
Erling Haaland continued to enjoy his summer break as the Manchester City forward was pictured attending the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda fashion show on Monday.
Haaland arrived alongside his girlfriend Isabel Haugseng Johansen at the show in Rome, which took place at Foro Romano.
The 24-year-old was seen wearing a tailored white two-piece suit which he layered over a crisp white shirt.
Haaland also sported a pair of brown suede loafers and black sunglasses.
Johansen wore a nude sheer wrap dress, layered over gold shorts and a matching bra.
As the couple arrived hand in hand for the event, which was also attended by actor Christian Bale, Haaland was seen raising his left hand in a greeting.
Haaland has been an ambassador for the Dolce & Gabbana since 2023, after striking an endorsement deal up to £2m with the Italian brand.
The Man City star, 24, has been seen wearing the brand's clothes across his social media platforms.
Haaland has been looking to unwind following Man City's gruelling 2024-25 season, which came to an end just two weeks ago.
The Norwegian international had been unable to help Pep Guardiola's side avoid an embarrassing exit at the hands of Saudi Arabian team Al-Hilal in the Club World Cup round of 16.
Haaland scored in the clash, but was unable to help Pep Guardiola's side progress in the highly lucrative competition in the USA, eventually won by Chelsea.
He had last week been spotted with Johansen in Ibiza, with the couple on a yacht alongside Johansen's mother and their child, who was born last December.
The couple have been very private with their child and they are yet to publicly announce its gender or name.
Meanwhile, Johansen is three years younger than Haaland at 21 and is believed to have met him at the youth academy at Bryne, who they both played for.
They started dating when he was at Borussia Dortmund, with Isabel making frequent trips to visit him.
Haaland joined Bryne at the age of five and spent more than 10 years with the Norwegian side before later having spells at RB Salzburg, Dortmund and now City.
Despite a quiet private life and no social media presence, Johansen has been increasingly seen in the public eye during Haaland's time at City, celebrating with him during their trophy successes.
The 21-year-old wasn't present in the US for the Club World Cup and was rather cheering on Haaland from home as he scored three goals in four games.
Elsewhere, the opportunity for Haaland to get some extra rest rather than continue in the latter stages of the tournament may be welcomed by Guardiola given he previously expressed his concerns over the impact the summer schedule could have on City's upcoming season.
Haaland is among the Man City stars now embracing their time off before they have to return to pre-season training.
Man City currently only have one pre-season match scheduled ahead of the new season, with Guardiola's side scheduled to face Palmero on August 9.
The match will take place a week before the Man City begin their Premier League campaign away to Wolves.

Man Utd new boy Benjamin Sesko hoping to emulate his idol Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Manchester United's latest signing Benjamin Sesko is hoping to emulate his idol Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the club's famous shirt. Slovenia international Sesko completed his move to Old Trafford from RB Leipzig at the weekend in a deal worth up to £73.7million. The 22-year-old revealed in his first interview on MUTV that former United striker Ibrahimovic, who spent almost two years at Old Trafford until 2018, was his hero. Sesko said: 'Since I've been small I've been watching him. Every single YouTube video that I can find because he's amazing for me. 'We don't have the same character, but I like to see the way he plays, the way he enjoys football, how everything works. 'It has been my dream to one day meet him, that would be great, so in general, he's my idol. 'We have a different playing style, but if there is any situation, I try to do the same as he did.' Sesko, who has made 41 senior appearances for his country, scored 21 goals in all competitions for Leipzig last season. He also revealed he admired other former United strikers, Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney. 'Van Persie and Rooney, all those kind of guys,' Sesko said. 'I've also been watching them, of course, on the videos. They have been great. 'You can admire them a lot and I will also try to show myself in a good light here and try to help the team and the club to be as high as possible.' United completed their worst top-flight campaign in 51 years after finishing 15th in the Premier League table last season, but Sesko is convinced good times lie ahead. Head coach Ruben Amorim's attacking options have also been boosted by the summer arrivals of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo. 'For me the team is great, it's getting better and better,' Sesko said. 'I think it's just a great project in general and I can't wait to start, definitely. 'Together you can grow a lot. It can give you a lot of fresh power, fresh energy and I think it's going to be exciting in general.' On his hopes for his first season at Old Trafford, Sesko added: 'Just that we get better, that we connect together in general and as a team try to grow and grow together, step by step. 'It's just a matter of time when we can fly high again.'

The Chase star Mark Labbett's ex Hayley Palmer gives her verdict on his Celebs Go Dating debut following their 'traumatic' relationship and him 'refusing to divorce' his second cousin

Mark Labett's ex Hayley Palmer has exclusively told Daily Mail she will not be tuning in to watch her former partner make his Celebs Go Dating debut on Monday, following the end of their 'traumatic' relationship. The TV personality, 44, and The Chase star, 59, announced their break up in May 2024, days after their one-year anniversary, with Hayley claiming that he dumped her because he 'didn't want to divorce' his ex-wife Katie, who is also his second cousin. Mark is now back looking for love and will appear on the E4 show alongside the likes of Kerry Katona, 44, and Christine McGuinness, 37. Hayley told Daily Mail: 'A year later, I've been able to turn past trauma into something positive. I feel like i've done a lot of glowing up. I am in a really strong, happy place. Feeling very grounded'. Despite wishing Mark well and pointing out his 'wonderful qualities' Hayley said she had no intention of watching his hunt for Mrs Right, revealing she had moved on and was dating someone she 'saw having a future with '. Instead she said she was planning on using her past relationship experiences to help others: 'I'm currently in the process of writing a book and coaching others who have been through tough experiences and want to change their mindset'. Following their split Hayley claimed that she'd been left needing counselling for 'betrayal trauma' after being dumped in a three-minute phone call. She previously told Daily Mail that she 'never in a million years' imagined Mark, AKA the Best, would agree to appear on a dating show. But the presenter also said she was glad to see her ex following her example and starting a new life chapter, after she'd he time post break up 'pouring love and confidence' into herself. Hayley said: 'I never thought in a million years he'd go on a dating show after such a painful and public breakup'. She previously claimed Mark ended their romance because he didn't want to divorce ex, Katie, 32, with whom he shares seven-year-old son Lawrence. However despite her claims Mark told The Sun: 'She's [Hayley's] a lovely lady and I was very lucky to date her for a year, and as I me, I got old.' In 2020, Katie - who had been dating senior design engineer Scott Bate for 18 months at the time - and Mark split because their attempts at an open marriage failed. The Beast also blamed other factors, including their 27-year age gap, the Covid-19 lockdown and his own mental health, for their eventual split. Last year Hayley confessed to Daily Mail that she was forced to turn the TV channel over after seeing him on Loose Women as she admitted she found it 'triggering'. She said Mark 'lives up to his nickname' after 'blindsiding' her by brutally breaking-up with her over the phone. 'It was really upsetting seeing him pop up on my screen, and I had to turn over. I didn't expect it to feel like that. 'As the last time he was on there, I was sat beside him and we were speaking about celebrating our one year anniversary and then exactly one week later my world came crashing down.' She added: 'To be honest thinking about him with anyone just brings it all back.' Hayley explained she was taken aback by her feeling as she continued: 'It was triggering. I didn't think it would be as I have worked really hard on my mindset and have been in a good place.' Meanwhile The Best has has revealed he 'couldn't wait to leave' a recent date he went on because he didn't find the mystery woman 'attractive'. Speaking to BANG Showbiz at Celebs Go Dating launch party about his current dating life, Mark said: 'You never know who you're going to find, someone who you just get on with – that's the key thing. 'I won't say who, but there's been one situation I've met someone and I'm going, "I should find them really attractive", but instead I can't wait to get away. Asked if the woman was a celebrity, Mark responded: 'No comment.' Mark hopes to find his perfect match, with the help of the programme's dating agents, Paul Carrick Brunson, Anna Williamson and Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn. Ironically, Mark said the experience of doing the show has taught him not to seek 'perfection'. He said: 'If you expect that from your partner, if she goes, "You don't do that", you can't get all stroppy. 'You can argue on the point of modern dating issues that you see someone who's this, this and this, and you go, reality check.'

Myleene Klass is accused of brutally 'ghosting' a close friend for contacting her ex-husband Graham Quinn - days after he ended their six-month marriage

Myleene Klass has been accused of 'ghosting' one of her closest friends after he was forced to contact her former husband - just days after their abrupt separation. The Loose Women presenter exchanged vows with Graham Quinn in 2011, almost a decade after meeting the Irish businessman when he provided security for Hear'Say, her former band, in the early 2000s. But just six months after exchanging vows in an intimate wedding ceremony - attended by a select sixteen family members - Quinn walked out on his wife and their two children. The fallout would be bitter, and former journalist Dean Piper believes the sudden, unexpected collapse of Myleene's first marriage ultimately led to their estrangement, after previously enjoying a close friendship. Piper originally met the presenter in 2001, shortly after she entered the music industry as a member of Hear'Say - the ultimately doomed five-piece group formed by Nigel Lythgoe on ITV show Popstars. 'We would try and get together as often as physically possible for a catch up and it would always involve naughty food or a shopping trip,' he recalls in a lengthy opening post for his new blog, WTF. 'A glazed donut at a cafe off Leicester Square, a cosy meal at the Ivy Club or a coffee in Starbucks. And then obviously at big events like the National TV Awards, the Brits and the odd product launch we would be inseparable.' So close were the pair that Myleene - affectionately referred to as 'Leenie' by Piper - even reached out following the death of his father, with the presenter sending 'dresses from her M+S collection for my mum – which was extremely kind'. By extension, Piper - at the time a mainstream showbusiness editor with a national paper - was also associated with the 'tall, handsome' Quinn. 'The pair seemed like a great couple back then, but they always had a fairly unique approach to their relationship,' he wrote. 'Graham, or Gray as we all called him, was away for months at a time with his work as a co-owner of a celebrity security firm. But it didn't seem to faze either of them – in fact it only seemed to keep them stronger. 'Myleene was always so busy anyway with her numerous work ventures so it didn't make any difference if Gray was home - he wouldn't have seen her anyway!' But he admits seeing a different side to Myleene as her marriage dissolved, with the presenter relying on him to produce a story filled with unsubstantiated claims that Quinn had cheated on her with an X Factor tour dancer. 'Two separate sources were then telling me that the pair were often hanging out and had built quite a friendship throughout their days on tour around the UK,' recalled Piper of his efforts to stand the story up. But just six months after exchanging vows in an intimate wedding ceremony - attended by a sixteen family members - Quinn walked out on his wife and their two children (pictured 2006) 'But it wasn't enough for me to pin down Gray as having had an affair. In the eyes of the law male and females are able to have purely platonic friendships without being involved in a relationship – and they would just deny it meaning the story would not have worked.' In the end, Piper reluctantly contacted Quinn for right of reply after being told his story was too one-sided - a decision that he believes ended his friendship with Myleene. 'The day the newspaper came out I received a call from her agent Severine: 'You f**king bastard. How could you do that to Myleene? Terrible.'"' he recalled of the reaction to his story, which included exclusive quotes from Quinn. 'I sent a load of texts to Myleene obviously and tried calling but there wasn't a reply or an answer. I didn't hear a single word from her ever again. 'Still to this day haven't. I could never imagine not being mates with her after all those years being buddies on the showbiz beat.' Piper later attempted to make peace with Myleene in a lengthy email - but received no response. 'I'd been ghosted. And that's no fun for anybody to go through. Especially with a proper friend.' He added: 'I remember seeing her with the girls backstage at a buffet counter at Hyde Park. calling and she wouldn't even look me in the eye despite me being fifteen feet away from her. 'I saw her just this past Christmas and yet again she wouldn't look me in the eye and we were at a small birthday party for a mutual friend. 'It was impossible to escape her in the room.' The radio presenter hit the headlines after accusing her former husband of cheating on her with another celebrity, who she has refused to name, shortly before their 2011 wedding. Quinn's inner circle have hit back at the shock claims and told Daily Mail's Grant Tucker that the former Hear'Say bodyguard, who shares daughters Ava, 17, and Hero, 13, with Myleene was 'not going to dignify these fantasies with a response'. They also believe it was 'vindictive and calculated' of the singer to launch the bombshell on what she would have known was the week of Quinn's 51st birthday. After opening up about the scandal in an interview for Paul Brunson's We Need To Talk podcast, Myleene took to Instagram Stories to state she has 'receipts,' and 'won't keep her mouth shut.' The post also included a snap of her MBE, after receiving the honour for her services to women's health, miscarriage awareness and charity last month. While Myleene used the post to reflect on her recent achievements, she also declared she's 'finally found her voice' after opening up about her cheating ordeal. She wrote: 'Wow. What a week it's been! Firstly, thank you. I have quite literally tens of thousands of messages of love and support for me and my family. I took a long time to learn there's strength in vulnerability. 'In a varied week where my interview with @paulcbrunson and @needtotalk went viral and reached the people who needed to hear it, where I was part of the incredible @stjohn_ambulance team who helped to save a person's life and where my children and I somehow managed to rescue our passports from the bottom of the Adriatic, it's been a mixed bag! 'All this to say, at 47, I've finally found my voice and it's clear, unapologetic and brutally honest. 'To those that fear its truth, you probably have reason to, I have receipts, to those that need to hear it, I've got you and I fully intend to continue using it to change the laws and legislation that neglect women and children in this country and around the world.' Myleene then ended her post with a Bible quote, that said: 'And the truth will set you free' John 8.32,' before adding her own words: 'And then some.' The presenter started started dating Quinn in 2001 and they were together for 12 years until they separated in 2011. Appearing on Paul C. Brunson's podcast, she said: 'I walked in on him with a famous person on my birthday on a balcony.' According to the presenter, the pair tried to claim that it wasn't what it looked like and she continued: 'I'm in my house, it's my party. They weren't having sex, but they were unzipping each other. 'It's not what you think'. But I'm like, 'It is what I think'. 'It's the first thing they both said. I kicked everyone out of the party, including his mum and dad. They went back to Ireland and his dad said: 'He doesn't get it from me'. 'I remember thinking that was quite a weird thing to say,' she told the love expert. Turning her thoughts towards the other woman, Myleene said: 'I've made peace with that situation now, but for a long time, it was very difficult to see their life. 'My life literally just broke apart very, very publicly and their life, they've managed to continue building a family brand on it. I have to take some accountability 'Look, you know, first and foremost to my children. My children have asked enough questions and it's never been a case of laying out my stall now.
