The actor has slammed people criticising him for drinking his urine as he told Bollywood Hungama, "I haven't offered them (urine), right? Or are they having a problem because I didn't offer them? Are they feeling, 'Yaar yeh akele pee gaye aur humko nahin diya?'!'
He added, "It's an incident of my life which took place 40 years ago. Woh maine bol diya. Usme kya ho gaya? People enjoy making a mountain out of a molehill. Karne do unko mazaa!'

Hrithik Roshan Rejected This Film — It Became A Blockbuster Hit And Won 10 Awards

In 2006, a film hit the screens that truly captured the hearts of audiences. Initially, Hrithik Roshan was considered for the lead role, but he turned it down. As a result, the part was given to another actor, and the film went on to become a major box office success. The film was Fanaa, starring Aamir Khan opposite Kajol. Their on-screen chemistry received widespread acclaim, and the storyline deeply resonated with viewers. The cast also included veteran stars such as Rishi Kapoor, Tabu, and Kirron Kher. What makes Fanaa unique is its genre shift; it begins as a love story, but an hour in, it evolves into a gripping thriller. Aamir Khan's powerful performance was particularly praised by both critics and fans. Interestingly, not many are aware that Hrithik Roshan was originally approached for the role that Aamir Khan eventually played. This was revealed by director Kunal Kohli during an episode of the Friday Talkies podcast. Kunal Kohli explained that the story of Fanaa was with Aditya Chopra, and it was he who suggested Aamir Khan for the role. However, Aditya Chopra was unsure whether Aamir Khan would agree to do it. Hrithik Roshan was approached first but declined, citing similarities with his earlier film Mission Kashmir (2000). Following this, Aamir Khan was offered the role and he immediately liked the script. He signed on, and the film went on to become a superhit. According to Bollywood Hungama, Fanaa earned Rs 51.87 crore at the Indian box office and Rs 102.84 crore worldwide. Kajol won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her role, and according to IMDb, Fanaa took home a total of 10 awards.

As an actor, I owe my sense of discipline & craft to Paresh Rawal: Shital Shah

Shital Shah; (below) With Paresh Rawal Shital Shah , who has directed Gujarati films like HuTuTuTu: Aavi Ramat Ni Rutu, Duniyadari and Saatam Aatham , was recently seen in the children's film Tomchi. The actress-filmmaker says, 'While the film was released only recently, it was shot about seven years back. I played a small role, but I felt glad because sadly, very few children's films are made in India. I've always had a soft corner for children's films and my first film as an actor (My Friend Ganesha) was a children's film too, which was loved by the audience.' 'Acting has always been my first love' Shital, who has done popular Hindi TV shows like Arjun and acted in Gujarati films like Saatam Aatham (which she directed too), is 'keen to get back to acting.' She says, 'Acting has always been my first love. For 12 years, I lived in Mumbai and did TV shows, Hindi films, two south films and even theatre. After My Friend Ganesha, I shot for quite a few Hindi films but somehow, very few of them were released. By the time I was really good at acting, I switched to making films (smiles). From 2014 to 2024, I was busy directing feature films, corporate films, films for the government and podcasts.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like No annual fees for life UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo Shital, a single mom to two daughters (Serena, 6, and Sara, 2), adds, 'When you are making films, it's such a consuming process that it's difficult to find time for acting projects. Also, I was keen to spend quality time with my daughters and was not ready to travel. But now, I want to face the camera again. I am already in talks for a couple of web shows, and I want to do Gujarati films too. So far, I have only acted in Gujarati films that I directed too. Gujarati cinema is in a good space and there are some brave new filmmakers who are exploring different genres. I would love to work with them and act in good Gujarati films.' 'Like me, my daughters love to paint' Shital, who is a trained Kathak and Odissi dancer and also a painter, says that her daughters 'love to paint.' She shares, 'At home, we rarely watch TV. They are into books and love to paint. We have a studio and on weekends, all of us (including her sister Shaina) paint and it can go on for hours. I have enrolled Serena in an art class and both of them won gold medals in an art competition recently. To be able to delve into art with your kids is a blessing.' 'Feel lucky that I got to act on stage with Paresh Rawal' Shital, who acted in the play Shaadi@ with Paresh Rawal, shares, 'I consider myself lucky that I got to act on stage with him. I consider him as one of my mentors and I owe my sense of discipline and craft to Paresh bhai. I learnt a lot from him while doing this comedy, which is the toughest genre. We did more than 200 shows and theatre made me understand the grammar and discipline of acting.' She also recollects, 'I have been lucky to shoot at Dilip Kumar's house for a TV show that was produced by Saira Banu. So, I would meet them every day and Dilip Kumar had even told Dev Anand that I was a good actress, who met me a couple of times. I had even auditioned for one of his films. Unfortunately, the project never took off.'

Priyanka Chopra REPLACED Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in THIS Sanjay Leela Bhansali film; Now rumoured to return in 'Love and War'

Amidst mounting speculation over Priyanka Chopra allegedly joining the cast of Sanjay Leela Bhansali 's much-anticipated film 'Love and War', reports seem to indicate that the actress could just make her return in another hit dance sequence. According to Bollywood Hungama, Priyanka's rumoured casting in Bhansali's upcoming film comes over a decade after she took over centre stage for a song sequence in 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela' back in 2013. At the time, the actress stepped in for the dance number in the Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer only after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan , who was originally set to perform in the song, exited at the last minute. Buzz About Love and War The song, 'Ram Chahe Leela,' went on to become a chartbuster. Now, with Bhansali deep into pre-production for 'Love and War', featuring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor , and Vicky Kaushal , rumours have emerged that Chopra might return for a special number in the film. However, the new report appears to have dismissed those claims. 'No, Priyanka is not doing anything in Love & War,' the source claimed. How Priyanka Landed ' Ram Chahe Leela ' Interestingly, back in 2013, Priyanka's casting in the film generated a lot of buzz. At the time, Aishwarya had reportedly agreed to return to the screen after a two-year hiatus with the 'Ram Leela' dance number, marking what would have been her fourth collaboration with Bhansali. Reports from the Times of India at the time suggested the filmmaker was determined to cast Aishwarya, even as producers leaned toward Priyanka. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Your Finger Shape Says a Lot About Your Personality, Read Now Tips and Tricks Undo In the end, Aishwarya backed out, opening the door for Priyanka's now-iconic performance. When Priyanka Denied Casting For Dance Number At the time, Priyanka, speaking to PTI, denied doing any song for Bhansali. She rubbished the reports saying, "It is an upsetting thing. Media reports keep coming about some actor doing this film or being replaced kind of stories... It's wrong... when you don't have clarity, then do not write it... by doing all these kind of stories, you give publicity to someone not needed." While her casting in the film still awaits confirmation, 'Love and War' has been generating a lot of buzz for another possible casting of Deepika Padukone in a prominent role. 'Love and War' is slated for a 2026 release.
