Fantastic Four's Joseph Quinn Reveals Why He Dyed His Hair Blond
Joseph Quinn says he went to Lupita Nyong'o for advice
The Stranger Things star decided to take the Academy Award-winning actress' advice sincerely for his much-awaited Marvel debut.
During an interview of The Fantastic Four: First Steps cast with Alan Cumming on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Joseph Quinn revealed that he reached out to his friend Lupita Nyong'o to prepare for his first movie of the franchise. He shared that the Black Panther actress suggested he should go 'blond' for the role.
However, the commitment towards the role did not just end at Quinn dying his hair; Pedro Pascal joked that you also have to 'gotta go blond from the inside.' To this, the 31-year-old actor retorted, 'It's funny that I never knew I had just a little blond boy inside me. And it felt like coming home.'
Meanwhile, Quinn and Nyong'o previously worked together in A Quiet Place: Day One. The duo's close friendship that started from the film's set even sparked dating rumors. The speculations regarding their relationship intensified when the Us actress brought him to the 2024 Academy Awards. (via Cosmopolitan)
While the dating rumors proved unfounded, fans felt Joseph Quinn and Lupita Nyong'o's on-screen chemistry was effortless. In a chat with Refinery 29, she revealed that they first met when cameras were already rolling, which helped their bond translate on screen.
The pair also connected over their 'similar' attitude towards the work. Nyong'o explained, 'What I'll say is that Joe [Quinn] has a similar work ethic to me.' She added, 'He's not concerned with his ego as much as he's concerned with rooting for his character. He comes to work with a buoyancy, and he's present.'
Currently, Joseph Quinn is gearing up for the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, set to hit theaters on July 25, 2025.

Marvel's EYES OF WAKANDA Will Explore the Hidden History of Black Panthers and Tease MCU Cameos — GeekTyrant
Get ready to return to Wakanda, but in a very different way. Marvel Studios is about to drop a brand-new animated series called Eyes of Wakanda , and it's taking the Marvel Universe deep into the past, showing us how the legacy of the Black Panther has echoed through time. Created by Todd Harris and produced by Ryan Coogler, Eyes of Wakanda is a four-part anthology series that journeys across different eras of Wakandan warriors. Forget what you thought you knew about the Marvel timeline, this is about ancient history, untold stories and battles, and how the powerful nation of Wakanda has always been more than meets the eye. 'It's about how Wakandans intersected through history — those futuristic, Star Trek-level Africans who bounce through time,' Harris told Empire. These aren't just any stories either. 'One of them features a fierce group of seafaring people, inspired by actual Bronze Age tribes. That idea came straight from Coogler. 'They were raiders who robbed their way through the Mediterranean,' Harris explained. 'Which gave us an open [book] in terms of creating a world based on very vague but dramatic circumstances.' That blend of real-world history and Wakandan mythology opens the door for some seriously cool storytelling. While the series aims to introduce a lineup of fresh heroes from Wakanda's past, Harris also said, 'There's definitely going to be some familiarity,' teasing that some established MCU characters will also appear. With Eyes of Wakanda is set to premier this Friday, August 1, on Disney+, fans won't have to wait long to dive in. Between its historical scope, potential MCU cameos, and new takes on Wakandan lore, this series is shaping up to be something pretty cool. Source: Empire

Jeremy Renner Plans to Return to Marvel: ‘My Body's Getting Ready'
Jeremy Renner is ready to step back into Hawkeye's suit. In a new interview with Empire, the actor said that he is 'sure' he will return as the Marvel superhero, either in a second season of Disney+ series Hawkeye or in a future MCU movie. 'I'm always happy to be in that world, man,' Renner said. 'I love all those guys, I love the character. I'm sure we'll end up doing Season 2 [of Hawkeye], and do other things. And I'm happy to do it. My body's getting ready for something like that. I don't know if anybody wants to see me in tights, but my body will look good in the tights.' 'I'm more than 150 per cent of what I was prior to the incident,' he told Empire. 'Having health and wellness be such a central part of my life, that's what's gotten me back. And even as I age, I just feel stronger than I've been. I have some issues, and tendon issues and certain limitations of flexibility and mobility, but I spent a lot of time on getting better and stronger, and I wouldn't if I didn't get crushed.' Earlier this year, Renner confirmed he previously passed on a second season of Hawkeye because he was offered 'half' of his pay from the first season. 'They asked me to do Season 2, and they offered me half the money,' the actor said. 'I'm like, 'Well, it's going to take me twice the amount of work for half the amount of money, and eight months of my time, essentially, to do it for half the amount.' He alluded that the reason behind the lower offer was due to his accident, which crushed more than 30 bones in his body. 'I'm like, 'I'm sorry? Why? Did you think I'm only half the Jeremy because I got ran over? Maybe that's why you want to pay me half of what I made on the first season,'' he said. The first season of Hawkeye debuted on Disney+ in 2021 and starred Renner alongside Hailee Steinfeld and Florence Pugh. Renner also appeared as the character in several Marvel films, including The Avengers.
