A470: Two vehicles involved in collision in Builth Wells

TWO vehicles were involved in a road traffic collision in Builth Wells town centre earlier today (July 2).
The collision happened at a busy junction of a one-way section in Builth, where the A470 and A483 meet.
The incident occurred at Builth Bridge, outside the Wyeside Arts Centre, with no injuries reported.
'Police attended a two-vehicle road traffic collision which occurred in Builth Wells at about 2.35pm today,' Dyfed Powys Police said in a statement.
'No injuries were reported.'
Police said the collision involved a grey Toyota Rav4 and a white Hyundai IX35.
Builth Town Council posted an image of the scene on its Facebook page, reporting that the incident may cause delays.
The road was said to be clear just before 5pm.

A crash that saw a single car crash into a telephone pole in Powys resulted in one person going to hospital. Powys Police confirmed that one person went to hospital as a result of a collision between a car and a telephone pole on the A483. The crash took place at around 8.35am on Saturday, July 26, between Llandrindod and Llanbister, and resulted in the road being closed for the recovery of the telephone pole. A spokesperson for Dyfed Powys Police said: 'Police attended a single vehicle collision which occurred at about 8.35am, Saturday, July 26. 'A Toyota Avensis collided with a telephone pole on the A483 between Llandrindod and Llanbister. 'One person attended hospital. 'The road remained close for recovery of the telephone pole.'
