Primetime 585 Spotlight Team: Penfield track and field
After both its girls and boys teams won the Victor Invitational last week, Penfield track and field is the Spotlight Team of the Week.
For the boys, Micah Davis won the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.16. He is currently ranked first in Section V in the event.
The boys 4×100 relay of Gavin Dovholuk, Micah Davis, Michael Cassata and Nick Walker took first place with a time of 42.30 to set a meet record.
The girls 4×100 relay of Elizabeth Vigliotti, Reese Cialini, Adelyn Alchowiak and Kaelyn Wake also came in first with a time of 49.62. Wake also won the long jump with a distance of 18-1.75.

NNY Racing Recap: Can-Am returns from Memorial Day break
LAFARGEVILLE, N.Y. (WWTI) – Racing roared back over the weekend after the Memorial Day holiday across the north country. Theresa native Lance Willix picked up the victory over Watertown native Billy Dunn in the 25-lap 358-modified feature. Tyler Meeks, Derek Webb and Remington Hamm rounded out the top five. Mike Fowler collected the win in the 20-lap Sportsman division feature. Frank Sibley, Ryan Shanahan, Tyler Stevenson and Josh Reome finished out the top five. Jon Liberty (602 crate sprints), Michael Greenfield (thundercar) and Eymarah Bowman (limited sportsman) were also winners on Friday, May 31. Can-Am will be back in action on Friday, June 6 with the Pit Crew Showdown. Pits open at 4 p.m. with gates opening at 5 p.m. and racing beginning at 7 p.m. Evans Mills Raceway Park Rain continued to be a problem as Saturday's May 31 program was postponed. The Zeigler 67 race was pushed back until this weekend. June 6: Relay For Life at Evans Mills This weekend's scheduled card will be legends night with the pits opening at 3 p.m. Saturday. 63rd Northeast Amateur Invitational

Dakota Valley's Sailer earns top-five finish at SDHSAA Class A Girls State Golf, Vermillion places fourth in team scores
MADISON, S.D. (KCAU) – Dakota Valley's Addicyn Sailer finished in a tie for fifth place at the SDHSAA Class A Girls Golf State Tournament, scoring 24-over-par while teammate Katie Betsworth logged a score of 30-over-par to end in a tie for ninth place at Madison Golf and Country Club. The Vermillion duo of Georgia Johnson and Ronnie Wilharm both finished 32-over-par, tying for 12th place. Sailor Kommes of Elk Point-Jefferson finished in 40th place.
