On July 10th, Shilpa Shetty Kundra marked her presence at the electrifying teaser launch event of KD - The Devil, and recalled the instance she agreed to do the gangster drama. Shilpa revealed suffering a fracture and being on a wheelchair after shooting an action sequence for Rohit Shetty's film. She talked about not intending to do the film initially; however, the film's sharp plot compelled her to give a nod.

She shared, 'Initially, I was caught up with other work, and had not intended to do KD - The Devil. I had suffered an injury and was on a wheelchair after shooting for an action sequence for Rohit Shetty's film. The makers of KD - The Devil were quite clear to cast me for the role.'
And added, " Because they were so insistent, my manager suggested me to hear the narration and then decide. I was on the wheelchair when they were narrating the film. Upon hearing the narration, I stood up from the wheelchair without realizing that I had suffered a fracture. And I reacted, saying 'Mujhe ye film karni hai'. After hearing the full narrative, I gave a nod to the film."
Shilpa Shetty Kundra will be seen stepping into a retro avatar for the first time, essaying an intense role of Satyavathi. The recently released teaser offers a glimpse into Shilpa's intriguing role, indicating that she's all set to deliver a performance to remember. She will be seen sharing the space with Dhruva Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, Nora Fatehi, Ramesh Aravind, Reeshma Nanaiah, and V Ravichandran.
A period action entertainer based on true events from 1970s Bangalore, KD – The Devil is presented by KVN Productions, directed by Prem and produced by Suprith. It features a multi-starrer cast including Dhruva Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Nora Fatehi, Ramesh Aravind, Reeshma Nanaiah, and V Ravichandran in important roles. Sreeleela is on a roll. Having made a name for herself in South Indian cinema, she is now eyeing pan-India stardom. The actress began her career with the Kannada film Kiss. She then went on to star in hits like By Two Love (Kannada), and Dhamaka, Guntur Kaaram, and the National Award-winning Bhagavanth Kesari (Telugu). Now, she has another Telugu film in the pipeline; she's also stepping into Tamil and Hindi cinema, with projects that include a Bollywood film alongside Kartik Aaryan and her Tamil debut, Parasakthi, opposite Sivakarthikeyan. Tamil Nadu International Kite Festival 2025 to be held from August 14-17
The skies over Thiruvidanthai Beach will display a dazzling splash of colours as the fourth edition of the Tamil Nadu International Kite Festival would be held from August 14 to 17. Set against the backdrop of the sparkling ECR shoreline, the four-day celebration will welcome kite flyers from across the globe. Adding to the excitement, this year's highlight will be a unique kite inspired by the Tamil alphabets. The event is being organised by Global Media Box, in association with Tamil Nadu Tourism. 'This year, visitors will be treated to a one-of-a-kind Tamil Alphabet kite,' said Benedict Savio, Founder of the Tamil Nadu International Kite Festival, and Event Director at Global Media Box. 'Another major attraction will be Vietnam's Traditional Flute Kite, which produces a melodious flute sound as it soars into the sky,' he added. 'Kite teams from France, Switzerland, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and India will showcase their skills and creativity,' Mr. Savio added. He also explained that these kites are specially designed and crafted after lot of research. 'Each of them are priced between Rs.1 lakh to Rs.3 lakh and some kites are even more expensive,' he said. The kite festival will be open to visitors from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The Tamil Nadu International Kite Festival aims to evolve into a global extravaganza, with plans to host the World Kite Show Championship in the coming years, bringing together participants from over 40 countries.
