"Kill yourself": MrBeast fires back at xQc in playful banter over snacks

When Jimmy 'MrBeast' Donaldson invited Felix 'xQc' Lengyel and Adin Ross to join the Kick livestream earlier this week, the objective was clear, raise funds for his latest clean water project, TeamWater.
However, not even one sarcastic comment could expect to be replayed most during the night.
The Mission Behind the Stream
The August 14 broadcast was already stirring impressive numbers. In merely eight hours, the trio had given $8 million toward a target of $40 million for clean water for two million people for decades. Donaldson calls it "the largest philanthropy project in history". They decided to ride the wave and go for an even bigger goal, break the world record for the most money raised in a single charity livestream ever-the towering $12 million.
Somewhere along this fundraising grind, Adin Ross brought forth the lie detector machine from nowhere for Q&A, boy there were some laughs. Ross looked toward xQc and asked a question that virtually every streamer in MrBeast's circle seems to get eventually: "Do you like Feastables?" Without hesitation, the Canadian said, "No."
The Banter Heard Around the Internet
Donaldson had very quick retorts: "Kill yourself. Kidding." An exuberant, exaggerated statement, which was winked at and thrown out with all seriousness; it was all that internet attention could handle.

Donaldson was adamant about the fact that there was not a single flavor xQc liked, referring to himself as an amateur rage. xQc said he had tried only two flavors, which elicited teasing about the remaining delights.
Within minutes, the moment was clipped, shared. People who knew the two creators' styles would interpret this as straightforward banter, while casual viewers stumbled across the viral snippet and scrambled to find its context.
And thus, the clip became some buzz of the fundraising event.
Beyond the Jokes
Keeping up with the jokes, the three hosts continuously brought donations. Donaldson even rallied the production crew on stream as cast members, begging his crew to join the camera frame while getting ready to grind through the night.
It's this mix of absurdity, larger-than-life personas, and globe-altering aspirations that make MrBeast's charity streams special. The comment could have just been a throwaway gag, but in forcefully stating entertainment and giving can actually go hand-in-hand.
