Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's Saiyaara is creating some insane and unbelievable records at the box office, which is phenomenal considering the musical drama features newcomers.
The Mohit Suri directorial will mostly cross the Rs 300 mark today, which means in just 17 days, which is nothing less than historic. And it has also become the first YRF film that will stream on Netflix.

Before the release of the movie, director Mohit Suri spoke about Saiyaara's comparison with Aashiqui 2 in an interview with Firstpost. He said, 'When I made Zeher, they said it looked like Murder. When I made Ek Villain, they said it looked like Murder 2. When I made Malang, they said it looked like Ek Villain. When I made Aashiqui 2, they said it looked like Woh Lame and Rockstar. So I think when I go ahead and make my next film, they'll say it looks like Saiyaara. I think when they're comparing it to my own work rather than somebody else's, it's good.'
Despite the arrival of new releases in the form of Ajay Devgn-Mrunal Thakur starrer Son of Sardaar 2 and Siddhant Chaturvedi-Triptii Dimri's Dhadak 2, \_Saiyaara\_ has the potential to remain steady in its third week at the box office.

Soon, subsidy for pre-1950 heritage homes in UP
Lucknow: Homes built before 1950 that reflect Awadhi heritage may now be eligible for a 30% tourism subsidy, the Uttar Pradesh tourism department announced on Sunday. Son of Sardaar 2 Box Office Collection Day 3: Ajay Devgn-Mrunal Thakur's comedy movie, Son of Sardaar 2, released on Friday. The film had a lukewarm opening at the box office, but improved over the weekend. Son of Sardaar 2 is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. Box Office: Su From So scores a blockbuster second weekend of Rs 15 crore; Kannada horror comedy grosses Rs 35 crore in 10 days

The Kannada new release marks Thuminad's directorial debut. It has now ended its second weekend on a good note at the Karnataka box office.
