Feature Video: Flume & JPEGMAFIA - AI Girlfriend
Get your stacks out and start peeling off hundies and tucking them into Flume and JPEGMAFIA's waistbands because these guys deserve all the rewards right now after securing their second Featured Video award in two weeks!!
With 'AI Girlfriend' they've totally one-eightied the vibes from their previous video release 'Track 1', trading hand-drawn animated caricatures for dystopian science-fiction that's like a wild hedonistic version of Fritz Lang's Metropolis . Co-directed by JPEGMAFIA and Logan Fields (who has worked with Peggy before on clips including 'Protect The Cross', 'don't rely on other men', 'Sin Miedo' and 'Scaring the Hoes' with Danny Brown), 'AI Girlfriend' is a "We live in such an absurd time' says Logan. 'Really, I just wanted to take a snapshot of right now as I see it.'
It was a mad hustle from start to finish with this clip, which includes a life-size 'robot girlfriend', a cast of performers and an impromptu cameo from actor Dax Flame (who's popular work includes Project X and 21 Jump Street ). 'From idea to release, the whole thing came together in about a week, so everything moved fast' says Logan. 'The robot suit had to be flown in by its designer from Barcelona and didn't land until midnight before the shoot with no fitting. The Dax Flame cameo is all thanks to our amazing producer James Stewart, who managed to arrange his appearance literally the day of.'
Using a variety of cameras and formats in what Logan likes to call 'a shotgun blast approach' (handing cameras to as many people as possible), the team created an abundance of perspectives and textures to play with. 'I spent the two days after the shoot cutting the video with help from the insanely talented editor and VFX artist Low Limit Vision' says Logan. 'The video dropped the following afternoon, three days after filming it.'
'The fun thing about making something this fast is there's no time to second guess. An idea gets said out loud and a few hours later it's in the frame. It's chaotic but kind of freeing."

Blake Lively issues statement after ‘defeat' of Justin Baldoni defamation lawsuit
In December, the actress sued co-star Baldoni for alleged sexual harassment on the set of the drama It Ends with Us, which he also directed. Lively also claimed the 41-year-old orchestrated a smear campaign against her around the film's release in August 2024. Baldoni, who has denied the allegations, filed a countersuit for alleged defamation and civil extortion against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and others. But on Monday, Judge Lewis J. Liman granted motions to dismiss the $400 million (£295 million) defamation lawsuit against Lively…

Picture of handwritten note sparks major Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce rumour
Travis Kelce's NFL pal may have inadvertently let it slip that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Taylor Swift are secretly married. Chicago Bears player Cole Kmet's event planner, Ellie Nottoli, shared details on his Saturday wedding to Emily Jarosz, revealing that Kelce and Swift were on the guest list, reports Page Six. The planner revealed the 'personalised touches' at the ceremony, including a letter that was addressed to 'Taylor and Travis Kelce' in elegantly calligraphy, with a 'Table 13' assignment. 'We all know Taylor and Travis were at a different wedding in Tennessee,' Nottoli said in an Instagram Story video on Monday. 'But each guest had an envelope that was adhered to a beautiful backdrop, and Emily wrote love notes to all of her guests.' The letter reveal sent several fans into a frenzy over the possibility that Swift and Kelce had already said 'I do.' 'TAYLOR AND TRAVIS KELCE?!????? EXUSE [sic] ME,' one person gushed. However, not everyone was convinced. 'This is very common for couples (married and unmarried) for weddings. it's the aesthetic,' another person wrote. 'Me and my bf do that too on gifts and stuff even though we aren't married, it's just kinda for the aesthetic of it,' a third chimed in. Meanwhile, a fourth quibbled, 'technically it should be Travis and Taylor Kelce.' As it turns out, the NFL star and his pop-star girlfriend weren't even at Kmet's wedding, which took place on Saturday. The duo instead hit up Kelce's cousin Tanner Corum's wedding on Friday in Knoxville, Tennessee. Corum exchanged vows with Samantha Peck during the countryside wedding. Social media pics of the famous couple showed the singer, 35, sporting a blue floral strapless dress from Markarian for the occasion, with Kelce, also 35, donning a laid back quarter-sleeved shirt and slacks. The marriage speculation comes two weeks after a source dropped hints as to when Kelce might pop the question to the songstress. 'Once he is done playing [football], the conversation will be front and centre,' an insider told the Daily Mail in May — referring to Kelce's upcoming return for another NFL season with the Chiefs. 'Everyone is just waiting for Travis to ask her parents for her hand in marriage, her parents will say 'yes,' and they can't wait for them to get engaged,' they continued. 'Nothing seems to be imminent, but it will 100 per cent happen.'
