How to watch Chelsea vs AC Milan live: Stram link, TV channel, team news, prediction
Chelsea have Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan in a three-day span as Enzo Maresca has everyone back from the break earned following last month's 3-0 upset of Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup Final.
The Blues have a bunch of new faces for this season, a figure that's even higher if you count players they added prior to or during the Club World Cup. Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens, Jorrel Hato, and Estevao Willian are in the fold, and the Blues continue to be linked with further additions. That list may grow as Levi Colwill has now suffered a long-term injury.
This match is AC Milan's last friendly prior to the Coppa Italia first round against Bari at the San Siro on August 18. Max Allegri's men are 3-0 this preseason, beating Arsenal on penalties before taking care of Liverpool and Perth Glory over 90 minutes.
Ex-Chelsea men Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Fikayo Tomori give Milan plenty of familiarity with the venue.

Chelsea team news, focus
The Colwill injury suddenly makes the Blues thin at a position they were merely adequate in depth prior to this point. Tosin Adarabioyo, Wesley Fofana, and Trevoh Chalobah are with the club while Mamadou Sarr has been loaned to Strasbourg, Chelsea are quite deep in attack and may still add this summer as Alejandro Garnacho continues to be linked with a move to London.
AC Milan team news, focus
Milan have made four notable additions this summer. While Brighton export Pervis Estupinan and Real Madrid free transfer Luka Modric will take a lot of the headlines, A pair of 23-year-old midfielders, however, are perhaps the more intriguing additions to Milan's project. Samuele Ricci (Torino)Ii is a box-to-box type with 10 caps for Italy who Milan are hoping gives them a true maestro for the long haul, while Swiss star Ardon Jashari arrives from Club Brugge off an impressive season in Belgium after multiple campaigns with Luzern in his home country.
Chelsea vs AC Milan prediction

Chelsea Have £10M Transfer Decision in Efforts to Sign Arsenal Target With PSG Clause
Chelsea look poised to sign 22-year-old Xavi Simons, who left PSG earlier this year, with Arsenal also showing interest. Wherever Simons lands, PSG stands to make a good profit from the transfer. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Leipzig agreed to an €80 million deal for Simons, with €55 million paid upfront. The Dutch midfielder is under contract through June 2027, and PSG included a sell-on clause to ensure they get a cut of any future transfer fee. That approach is already paying dividends. Adam Crafton of The Athletic says PSG recently received €17 million (£15 million) from Hugo Ekitiké's move to Liverpool thanks to a similar clause. Romano also pointed out that Chelsea are making solid progress in personal terms talks. Simons is reportedly open to the move and interested in joining the Premier League club, though discussions are still ongoing. Chelsea need to make a decision on former PSG aceChelsea are still negotiating with Leipzig over Simons, according to Sky Sports (h/t The Mirror). The two clubs are reportedly about £10 million apart on the player's valuation. If the Blues want to sign Simons, Leipzig will need to find a replacement first — and it looks like Harvey Elliott is set to fill that role. Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp is expected to be involved in making Elliott's move to Germany happen, which would then clear the way for Simons' transfer. 'After suffering from neck pain, Xavi Simons returned to training with the team on Tuesday,' Christian Falk informed CaughtOffside. 'Leipzig are still open to selling the midfielder for €60m-70m [£52m-60.7m]. His transfer to Chelsea is on hold until the Blues come up with a suitable offer. 'In that event, Leipzig already have their sights set on a successor in Liverpool's Harvey Elliott. Head of global football, Jürgen Klopp, who once coached him in Liverpool, is expected to assist in this endeavour. He is Leipzig's secret weapon and is expected to persuade Elliott to join the project.' Meanwhile, TalkSPORT recently revealed that Chelsea are close to reaching an agreement on personal terms. Simons is still holding talks with other clubs, including Arsenal, who remain strongly interested.

Happy birthday, Javier Zanetti!
Javier Zanetti turns 52 today. Arriving in the summer of 1995, he quietly yet resolutely put on the Inter colours for the first time, beginning a legendary journey that would see him become the personification of interismo. On the pitch, game after game, he became a pillar for the team, an example of strength, humility, and dedication. His 858 appearances in the Nerazzurri jersey, an all-time Club record, were crowned with 16 trophies: one Champions League, one Club World Cup, one UEFA Cup, five Scudetti, four Coppa Italia titles, and four Italian Super Cups. However, his key role in the club didn't come to an end after his retirement from playing; as Vice President, he has helped secure more victories, adding two more Scudetti, two Coppa Italia titles, and three Italian Super Cups. In 2018, his name was forever written in with the legends as he became the first defender in history to be honoured with a place in the Nerazzurri Hall of Fame. An honour that speaks to what words alone cannot capture: his love for our colours and his extraordinary leadership. All the very best wishes from the Inter family!
