PlayStation Quietly Cancels Upcoming Event in Several Locations
We spotted several Reddit threads over the last couple of days, where players from Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Italy, and Austria reported that the event in their location has been canceled.
Some folks originally thought that the cancellation was an April Fools' joke of some sort until similar reports trickled in from other countries. No further information was provided, so no one knows why the concert was canceled.
One player from Sweden noted that Sony's partner in the country simply scrubbed any mention of the PlayStation Concert from its website. Another player from Ireland claimed that tickets sold poorly in the country and it's likely that Ireland will join the list of cancellations soon.
Players are understandably unhappy, especially those who had booked days off from work, purchased plane tickets for travel, and booked hotel rooms. We're sure people will be refunded, but it is an inconvenience nonetheless.

36 Movie Pet Peeves That Made Viewers Stop Watching
We all know the best way to enjoy a film is to fully immerse yourself in its world. But have you ever been watching a movie and thought "this is so ridiculous and absolutely unrealistic?" Over on Reddit, people are sharing their biggest movie "pet peeves" — And now I'm thinking back to every single movie I've ever watched in a whole new light. "When people walk around with cups of coffee or drinks, they're always empty and it's obvious by the way they carry them." "Anything to do with computer systems is always dumbed down to the point of being meaningless drivel or technically impossible." "Driving. There is no way someone is looking at their passenger for that long without getting in an accident." "SPRINKLERS DO NOT GO OFF WHEN YOU PULL THE FIRE ALARM." "If the good guy gets shot in the stomach, it's no big deal. Sometimes they keep on fighting and once its all over, the guy will reveal he was hit in the gut, but he's okay. If you get shot in the stomach in real life, you wouldn't be able to stand up. You would hit the ground and make noises similar to a cow giving birth. There's a big chance you wouldn't survive it, and if you do, you'll be using a colostomy bag for the rest of your life. Nobody is walking off a gut shot." "Tornado movies where they act like tornados just drop from the sky out of nowhere and wreak havoc on a town. Tornados happen with thunderstorms — so no, people aren't just hanging out at an outdoor baseball game on a nice sunny day when a tornado appears suddenly and rips through the field." "People having sex or kissing in the morning when you KNOW they stink! Like spicy scenes when folks have been running around all day in the heat and tight jeans. Knowing damn well that room is going to smell like wet cat food. Vomit." "When people are shocked back to life from 'flat-lining'. There are only 2 shockable rhythms — ventricular tachycardia, or ventricular fibrillation. Anything else won't work. And this is on medical shows the most! It drives everyone working in health care crazy LOL." "How long people can hold their breath under water." "Dirty feet. This happens in sitcoms too. They walk around barefoot and forget to check the bottom of their feet🤦♀️." "When people get knocked unconscious and then get up like nothing ever happened. I got knocked unconscious in a car accident and I felt dizzy and generally unwell for hours." "Unnatural conversations with the sole purpose of informing the viewer. Best example that comes to mind is Big Hero 6: 'What would mom and dad say?' 'They died when I was three, remember?'" "Why is there a class bell in college?!?!! Drives me nuts!" "When they hit someone on the back of the head to interrogate them later. Whatever they knew, they now forgot my man." "People in movies cutting their hair to become unrecognizable. They always grab the hair and start cutting it all over the place, and in the next scene, they have a cute bob. You'd be more noticeable with a hack job like that." "As an electrician, most of the time, it involves electricity as a storytelling device. For example, an outlet blowing someone across the room or lights exploding like mini grenades. I've been shocked many times from outlets and never get thrown across the room. Power lines don't shock you then fling you — they grab hold and don't let go until a breaker fails. If an outlet was overpowered, it would've melted long before the antagonist got close enough for it to arc to them." "Sprinkler systems don't all go off at once and the water is certainly not clean." "Air ducts are always magically clean and big enough for a person to crawl through. (They aren't)." "The way characters get their beds ready to sleep (or lack thereof). It drives me nuts when I see them get into a bed with four huge pillows angled straight up and they don't turn down their pillows or remove the second set from behind them. They literally plop down on the pillow in the most unrealistic way. Like okay girl, we both know you are not spending the next 8 hours sleeping with your neck craned up like that on a sideways pillow." "Women always look perfect — Just woke up? Perfect hair and makeup. Just went through a tornado? Perfect hair and makeup. Your ship sank and you're hanging onto a door for dear life and the love of your life just froze to death? A little wet, but perfect hair and makeup." "Childbirth. In real life, people know due dates and aren't completely shocked when it comes. The baby is not born 10 minutes after contractions start, you have a few hours to get to a hospital. And that shit is messy. Amniotic fluid, blood, urine, feces everywhere. If by some crazy twist of fate where you actually did have to give birth outside of a hospital, the area immediately around you would be a biohazard that can't be shown on screen. You'd be way, way more likely to die of something like pre-eclampsia because there's no immediate medical care." "Music. It makes me crazy when a movie set in a particular year or time period has a song in its soundtrack that 'hasn't been released yet.'" "People don't stutter or trip over their words unless it's part of their character or serves a story purpose." "When actors wear fake glasses. You can tell because the lenses are flat, while real glasses are curved. Maybe it doesn't drive me crazy but it's something I do notice that breaks the immersion a tad." "Courtrooms always have a large audience in movies. I've never seen more than a handful of people just chilling in a courtroom in real life. Better Call Saul got this right however." "Guns making metallic 'cocking' sounds whenever anyone touches them." "I'm a carpenter — I sign out in movies when the main character is supposed to be a skilled tradesperson and looks like they've never swung a hammer. If the actor worked on a construction site for two weeks, it would go a long way toward making it more believable. For example, Ben Stiller in Greenberg obviously didn't know what he was doing. On the other side, Mark Ruffalo in You Can Count On Me had clearly been practicing. Harrison Ford was a real life carpenter, so he always looks legit (Witness and Mosquito Coast stand out to me)." "When a character falls or dives into a river or the ocean, they're completely oblivious to the cold, even if it's a scene in the middle of the winter." "Just leaving the door front wide open when entering or leaving." "When the main characters are in a line or something, and none of the background people are doing anything. I just watched a Christmas movie where this woman skipped the line to talk to Santa about something. No one in the line said anything the entire time, and were just smiling and watching come on, I need a little bit of realism from the extras." "As a registered nurse, the angle they put the needle in to draw blood makes me furious. Or when they inject medicine directly into someone's neck. Both instances, they are nowhere near the vessels. It takes me out of the story for a bit." "For me it is about how much time it would actually take to drive from place to place. Like, you're not getting in and out of NYC or LA in less than an hour." "Fist fights. They take turns letting the other guy punch them in the face. Most people would get knocked out after eating one or two of those punches but in the movies they'll eat like ten punches and only come out with a bleeding lip or a black eye." "'Over and out' while talking on a radio. Ughhhhh I hate that. Also, no scars or bruises. If a character has a slash on their face, they look pretty good in a few scenes. There's no scabbing, and usually the 'scar' just looks like someone took a tub of lipstick and crudely ran it down their face." "When they're driving in a heavily populated city and don't stop a SINGLE time. You're telling me you had no red lights, no congested traffic and no jaywalkers? You're telling me not a single person is holding up a lane because they're unloading their U-Haul truck?" "Military uniform violations: people in military uniforms walking around outside with longish hair and no headgear. Conversely, walking around indoors while wearing headgear and saluting officers. WTF!" Do any of these "pet peeves" annoy you too? Let us know something the movies always get wrong in the comments! Sophie Turner Revealed She Accidentally Ended Another Celeb's Engagement
Turns out, a wave from Sophie Turner wields a lot of power. On a recent appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Sophie and Seth reminisced on how they first met at a Comic-Con afterparty in 2014, during Sophie's Game of Thrones days. However, Sophie said of the evening, "That night was actually quite crazy for me. It went really south really quickly". Related: She continued, "We were going to have a great night. I really can't name names or I'll get in a lot of trouble, but I brought my best friend from my school days with me and she saw this actor that she loved. And she obviously just goes to me, 'Can you say hi?'" "I didn't know this actor," Sophie continued, noting that she simply gave him a wave from across the room. "That was it." Related: 'Later on, I see this girl looking at me and she's a famous actress. I was like, 'Oh, I have to go and tell her how much she means to me.'" "So, I dance on over and she goes, 'Can you stop fucking flirting with my fiancé?'" Sophie recalled. "I was like, 'Who's your fiancé?' She points at the guy I'd waved at. I went, 'I have no idea who this man is.'" "Turns out, I think they broke their engagement off that night. Because of my [wave]. I didn't realize I held this power," she added. Related: When Seth pointed out that most people intentionally trying to break up a couple likely wouldn't then "dance" over to the gal in question, Sophie replied, "I think she thought I was rubbing it in." So, who is the couple in question? It looks like the party Sophie is referring to is Entertainment Weekly's Annual Comic Con Celebration, which she also attended with Maisie Williams. Related: As some on Reddit have pointed out, Emma Roberts was also in attendance that night. At the time, she was on-and-off-again with her American Horror Story costar Evan Peters, who seemingly attended the party but didn't walk the red carpet. And Emma was then photographed after said party, crying and being consoled by friends — though it's not clear exactly what went down. Joe Scarnici / FilmMagic, Frazer Harrison / Getty Images A split in their engagement was reported in the summer of the following year, though they were seemingly back together a few months later. What do you make of the speculation? LMK in the comments! BuzzFeed has reached out to representatives for Emma and Evan for comment. Also in Celebrity: Also in Celebrity: Also in Celebrity:
