Scheana Shay Takes Swipe at Lisa Vanderpump for Gaslighting
Speaking to Us Weekly, Scheana said "She low-key used my real-life pain to launch her TV empire — and what an empire she has. She gaslit me about it for a decade instead of just coming to me in the beginning. That's the thing with Lisa: She doesn't make mistakes. She makes moves and then calls them coincidences."
Scheana went on to accuse Lisa of trying to manufacture drama on Vanderpump Rules—and said the restaurateur specifically told her to "stand up for" James Kennedy during a staff meeting after he was rude about Katie Maloney's outfit.
"I got a phone call from Lisa," Scheana said. "She didn't want to fire James, so she needed someone to stand up for him. If you go back and watch, I'm getting a death stare from Lisa, like, 'When are you going to speak up? When are you going to stick to the script?' That's when I stopped following her orders, and I feel like the relationship changed after that."
So far, Lisa hasn't responded to all this but...stay tuned!

Alex Zinger & Crew (Week 2) It didn't work out for him the first time, but Alex finally managed to dance his way into the judges' hearts in Season 20. Messoudi Brothers (Week 3) Yes, these were the brothers who managed to undress and swap outfits… all while juggling enormous knives from across the stage. Jessica Sanchez (Week 3) A semifinalist from the show's first-ever season, Sanchez returned to AGT in a big way with her Golden Buzzer-winning performance of Benson Boone's 'Beautiful Things.' Zak Mirz (Week 4) This endearing magician used his daughter's favorite things to create an impressive act the judges couldn't resist. Chuck Adams (Week 4) We've never heard the Goo Goo Dolls' 'Iris' sung quite like this before — and we mean that in the best way. Gendai (Week 4) Direct from Japan, this performer combines light and dance to create a truly unique experience. Cole Swensen & Judy (Week 4) We would have loved Swensen's performance of Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida' even if Swensen wasn't joined on the cello by his mom — but that did make us love it more. TT Boys (Week 4) These flippin' incredible acrobats have been performing together for 20 years, and it shows in their confident, undeniable connection. Crash Adams (Week 4) Already a viral sensation, this band found even more success after their audition; their original song 'Optimist' climbed the charts, surpassing the likes of Justin Bieber and Chappell Roan. Scheana Shay's Book Reveals Huge List of A-List Hookups
romantic portfolio was a source of intrigue on Vanderpump Rules. The VPR alum notably had an affair with Eddie Cibrian in 2006. The details of which, came out on the show. The Scheananigans podcast host is baring it all in her new book, My Good Side. It's not just Brock Davies' liaisons coming to light in his wife's book. Scheana is getting very honest about hooking up with A-listers and making rounds on the party circuit. It's all in good fun, and something that could generate more interest. Perhaps for a sequel even. Which A-list stars has Scheana Shay hooked up with? In her autobiography, which hit the market Tuesday, July 22, Scheana described re-evaluating her love life after a series of A-list romantic shenanigans. 'I said to myself, okay Scheana, you've tried dating (or at least hanging out and hooking up with) all of these celebrities — Jesse Metcalfe, Eddie Cibrian, John Mayer, Shemar Moore, Josh Hopkins, Shane West, Jesse McCartney, JC Chasez, Adrian Grenier, Ricardo Chavira, William Tell, two actors from The Notebook, and a few NFL, NBA, and MLB players, to name a few — and that's not really working out. It's time to switch things up and date someone who's under the radar: I didn't want any of the fanfare or complications that came with being linked to someone famous. I wanted to be with someone who was grounded,' she wrote. These days, Scheana told Us Weekly she doesn't think she could pull the same list off. Even if she 'was single and not a mom.' It's 'such a different time' now for elite partying. She joked, 'I don't know how I did it in my early 20s — people don't believe me!' The Good As Gold singer continued, 'Social media has completely changed the life of celebrity, privacy, going out. [In the past], any night you could be at a club and like, 'Oh, I'm at Leonardo DiCaprio's table.' And then Cuba Gooding Jr. walks up. Now Justin Timberlake's here — and I'm just the girl at the table. What is life?'' Catch Vanderpump Rules streaming on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland. How Katy Perry Feels After Her Date With Justin Trudeau: It's 'Uncharted Territory'
THE RUNDOWN Katy Perry and former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau went viral for their three-stop Montreal outing—a park walk, followed by dinner, and then drinks—a week ago. Today, a source told Us Weekly that yes, they were 'definitely on a date'—and that Trudeau and Perry had been in contact for weeks leading up to their rendezvous. The source explained that the relationship is new: '[The date] was casual. They had been in touch for the last month and have a few mutuals in the music industry.' (Trudeau's son, Xavier, is a rapper.) Still, the experience of dating again—particularly a former head of state—is 'uncharted territory' for Perry, who announced her split from ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom last month, after dating him since 2016. 'This is all new to her as she hasn't dated in so many years, and it's been exciting to put herself out there again,' the insider said. 'Katy is excited to move on but isn't looking for anything serious.' With her Lifetimes Tour ongoing, she 'doesn't have a lot of extra time right now' but still 'agreed to see' Trudeau during her break in Canada, the source noted. Multiple sources spoke to People this weekend about Trudeau and Perry's connection, noting the challenges they might face if they continue seeing each other. They have potential though, a Canadian source said: 'They are interested in each other, but it will take a while to see where this goes. She is traveling around the world, and he is figuring out his life now that he is no longer prime minister of Canada. But there is an attraction—they have a lot in common.' 'Music is one of many things they can share,' the insider added, noting that they 'both are idealists and still live in a world where they think they can make improvements, although it has gotten more difficult.' But the obstacles facing their romance are very real, the source admitted: 'Their own personal responsibilities could make this relationship move slower than it would, but there are ways to see the other and still fulfill their parenting responsibilities [both Perry and Trudeau share children with their exes]. For one thing, they each have an ex. So, duties are split in half. And long-distance relationships, while still hard, are possible for these two.' A second Canadian source told the outlet that Trudeau is 'playing it low-key' on purpose as he and Perry figure out what's best for them. '[The] timing seems good for them, although a romance is in very early stages,' the insider said.
