Glenn Irwin pays heartfelt tribute to riders after fatal British Supersport crash

Jenner, 21, and Richardson, 29, both suffered fatal injuries after the incident, which occurred as the bikes exited the first turn on lap one.
A third rider, 47-year-old Tom Tunstall, is still in hospital having suffered "significant back and abdominal injuries", while five more needed treatment on injuries but fortunately did not need to attend hospital.
It is said that the incident caused a 'chain reaction', which resulted in so many riders coming off their bikes, with the incident resulting in the rest of the day's action being cancelled.
Irwin, writing on X, said: "Owen you were always smiling, just a young kid chasing your dream and having fun along the way.
'Shane, I didn't know you personally but watching videos and photos of your little family on instagram I can see how much of an amazing dad and partner you are along with being a top rider
'Rest in peace boys – life can be so so cruel. We will continue to offer support to your families in the coming times ahead, my thoughts go to the entire BSB team of organisers, Marshalls, medics and the wider community.'
In a statement, organisers Motorsport Vision Racing commented: "Due to the extreme severity of the incident and ongoing medical intervention, the remainder of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship event was cancelled.'
Cheshire Police are now looking into the two deaths on behalf of the coroner.
The British Supersport Championship is the main support class to the British Superbike Championship, which Irwin competes in, and features 600cc machines, with Oulton Park hosting the opening round of this year's championship.

Internet in shambles over Kylie Jenner packing Knicks-themed LINGERIE in her suitcase

Kylie Jenner is definitely a New York Knicks girl now and she has all the merch to prove it - even some you wouldn't expect. In a snap shared to her Instagram Stories, Jenner, 27, posted a picture of the inside of her suitcase, which was filled with white heels, a blue Birkin bag, and multiple Knicks merchandise. But one particular item has caught the eye of Jenner's followers: what appears to be satin, blue lingerie with an orange lace trim - the exact colors of the New York Knicks. Jenner may not have been that interested in the Knicks before, but it appears that being Timothée Chalamet's girlfriend may have made her a super fan - even down to her underwear. Jenner and Chalamet, who were avoiding the public eye fervently for the first several months of their relationship, have been sitting courtside for the past few games. And it appears that their love of the team follows them off the court and into the bedroom. When fans realized that Knicks-themed lingerie had made its way into Jenner's carry-on, they quickly turned to social media to point out that this was a sign that she was very in love with avid Knicks fan Chalamet. 'I'm crying she's just like me when I'm in love,' one X user wrote in response to the picture. 'Me when I be in love, that's our team now,' another shared. One user said that the Jenner was 'the level of in love I aspire to be.' Some fans weren't as touched to see Jenner's nod to Chalamet's favorite team. 'I definitely feel like Kylie Jenner changes her whole personality based on who she's dating at the moment and it's kinda pathetic,' one person said. 'Kylie girl… stand up...' another wrote. But others expressed that Jenner's recent posts made them like her more. 'Down horrendously for each other and I can't be mad about it honestly,' one user shared. 'Nah she is a great vibe,' another agreed, while a different person said, 'I will no longer hate on Kylie Chalamet.' Some fans weren't as touched to see Jenner's nod to Chalamet's favorite team This comes after the internet blew up over Jenner reposting a clip of Samantha from Sex and the City saying, 'I don't get laid unless the Knicks win.' Chalamet has been known for being an avid Knicks fan for most of his life. It was proven by a resurfaced picture of the actor at just 14 years old, standing next to former Knicks players Landry Fields and Andy Rautins - who he apparently sought out to win tickets to a game. And now that the Dune actor is tied to Jenner, it seems as though she's joined in on his love for the team. Because nothing says 'Go Knicks!' quite like some orange and blue lingerie.

Crypto boss 'chained up and electrocuted man before taunting him with chainsaw'

A cryptocurrency boss worth £73,000,000 has been accused of chaining up, electrocuting and 'torturing' an Italian tourist for weeks. 37-year-old John Woeltz was arrested in New York after the victim managed to escape the high-end Soho apartment he was being held in and find a police officer. Woeltz has been accused of helping lure tourists like Carturan to New York before torturing them to get access to their lucrative cryptocurrency accounts. Police said the tourist met Woeltz on May 6 and went back to his townhouse in Soho before Woeltz snatched the Italian's passport. The man said he was dangled from the top of a five-storey stairwell, tasered with his feet in water, pistol-whipped, and threatened to have his legs cut off with a chainsaw if he didn't give Woeltz access to his cryptocurrency accounts. The torture was documented on a Polaroid camera. Police found photos of the victim strapped to a chair. Woeltz has been charged with assault and unlawful imprisonment, but denies any wrongdoing. His family has claimed he is 'kind, caring and loving' – but 'controlled by other people'. A relative told the New York Post: 'He was hijacked and manipulated and scammed. I think they stole his money as well.' After the victim managed to escape the so-called 'house of horrors' where he was being held, he waved a nearby police officer over and was taken to the hospital. Woeltz was arrested shortly after. Witnesses said a SWAT team descended upon the high-end residence to arrest the crypto boss. The luxury apartment where Woeltz was staying – and tortured his victim – charges $75,000 each month. It's the latest incident of violence related to cryptocurrency. In February, three British men in Spain were arrested over the kidnapping of another cryptocurrency broker. The victim had agreed to get drinks at an apartment in Costa-del-Sol. Once there, he was told to hand over 30,000 Euros (£25,000) in cryptocurrency from his customers' accounts or be tortured and killed. More Trending Another man, Jacob Irwin-Cline, from Portland, Oregon, claimed had over $120,000 in cryptocurrency stolen after being abducted and 'drugged' by a man he thought was his Uber driver in London. After smoking the cigarette his driver offered him, Irwin-Cline said he fell unconscious for the next half an hour. When he came to – still feeling the effects of what he believed was a powerful drug nicknamed 'Devil's Breath' – Irwin-Cline left the car and discovered his phone was missing. After gaining access to his accounts again, the software developer discovered his cryptocurrency accounts had been 'wiped' of his life savings of more than $120,000.
