BBC viewers slam 'cringe' Eurovision Song Contest 2025
Presenters Hazel Brugger, Michelle Hunziker, and Sandra Studer were at the helm for the night's festivities as 26 acts battled it out for the coveted trophy.
However, the trio's pre-recorded opening segment failed to impress, leaving viewers less than thrilled.
It isn't the first time something appears to have gone wrong at Eurovision either.
Fans quickly voiced their opinions on X, formerly known as Twitter, with one viewer commenting: "why are the presenters always cringe? #Eurovision.", reports Wales Online.
Another chimed in: "Awful cringe hosting but loving to randomness of the hosts costumes #Eurovision."
A third viewer remarked: "cringe opening #Eurovision." While a fourth questioned: "Why are the intros always so awkward? #Eurovision #ESC2025."

Paddy McGuinness fumes 'why is everyone out to shaft me?' in scathing video update
Former Top Gear and Take Me Out presenter Paddy McGuinness has shared a furious update about his home improvements or lack thereof after being left unimpressed by a professional gardening job Paddy McGuinness has unleashed a furious rant at a group of builders he accused of botching his artificial lawn, branding them 'f***ing cowboys' after the once-pristine turf became overrun with weeds and discoloured patches. The 52-year-old presenter, who said the garden had looked great for 'a year or two,' revealed in a video that the surface is now littered with over 20 visible weeds, many sprouting along the borders between the turf and surrounding slabs. He also pointed out patchy, sun-faded areas and hollow sections around the edges, calling it simply: 'Job's gone wrong.' It comes after Paddy showed off his chiselled body while on holiday with ex wife Christine. According to Paddy, the problem started around five months ago and has since worsened, with the weeds spreading across most of the lawn. Frustrated, he said he tried contacting the original company but claimed they ignored his calls and emails. In the clip, clearly fed up, he said: 'Why's everyone out to shaft you? Can no one just offer a service and it be right?' He went on to appeal directly to his followers: 'Listen, if you've used a company who lay these kind of lawns and you're happy with it, let me know. "I don't want to put it down again if it's going to be screwed in another year or two and changing colour and weeds everywhere and dips in it and all that pony.' Ending his rant, Paddy added he wasn't looking for free work, just someone reliable: 'Please someone, I don't want it for nothing, do not want it for nothing, no tagging in, get in touch. "I'll pay you, do a fantastic job and be gone and let me know how to do the upkeep," he added. It's not been a great week for Paddy all round as his new show Paddy and Chris: Road Tripping, is said to have suffered the same fate after the BBC reportedly haven't renewed it after just one series, despite huge ratings from fans. Paddy and Chris Harris were back behind the wheel last year for a new show together - months after the latest version of Top Gear was axed in late 2023. The road trip show saw them travel around Europe on a quest to crack the code of ageing well (or not so disgracefully) as the pair searched for a cure to the 'mid-life crisis'. Though it had good viewing figures - with 3.2 million tuning it for the first episode on Sunday September 24, 2024 - it's not thought to be coming back for a second season. A BBC spokesperson confirmed the news and said in a statement to The Sun: "Whilst viewers can enjoy all episodes of Road Tripping on BBC iPlayer now, there are currently no plans for any new episodes at the moment."
