Jared Leto Faces Sexual Misconduct Allegations From Several Women

Actor Jared Leto has been a Hollywood celebrity for decades. With so many notable roles under his belt, including several divisive endeavors including the Joker in Suicide Squad and the titular character in Morbius , he has become a household name. Now Jared Leto is facing sexual misconduct allegations from several different women. The allegations were shared by a total of nine women via Air Mail. The outlet not only alleges that these nine women were treated inappropriately by Leto, but that he also made advances towards some of them when they were minors. Ages of the women during these alleged encounters were said to be 16 and 17. 'It's been an open secret for a long time,' one of the women stated while remaining anonymous. The outlet includes such allegations as a woman saying she was asked sexual questions by Leto at 16-years-old, another woman saying he walked out of a room nude in front of her when she was 17-years-old, and that he exposed himself and masturbated before placing an 18-year-old girl's hand 'on him.' In response to the claims, a representative for Leto 'expressly' denied them. They responded to some of the specific allegations made by model Laura La Rue, who would have been 16 in 2008, who also claims to have met Leto at an animal rights benefit before connecting via email and eventually she met him at his studio in April 2009. There she says he was 'flirting' with her. Leto's representative insisted that their 'communications contain nothing sexual or inappropriate' and that La Rue 'later applied to work as Mr. Leto's personal assistant, further underscoring the absence of anything inappropriate in any of their interactions.' Meanwhile, La Rue denies ever applying for that position and alleges that she was the 17-year-old who saw him walk out of a room nude 'like it was normal.' She added: 'I thought maybe this was just what adult men do.' Another woman claimed to have received a phone call from the Tron: Ares actor when she was 16 in 2008, having given him her number after he approached her at Urth Caffé in Los Angeles, and that he eventually called her with the 'weirdest, grossest voice.' She claims to not 'know if he was on drugs.' In response, Leto's representative responded to say that Leto 'has not had a drink or used drugs in over 35 years.' The woman further elaborated how the alleged phone calls from Leto continued for the next three weeks, with her mother claiming to have also overheard one of the calls. Here's what the woman said: 'And the conversations turned sexual,' she claimed. 'He'd ask things like, 'Have you ever had a boyfriend? Have you ever sucked a d—?' ' She added: 'He changed — his voice, the way he talked. It scared me. That was the first time I thought, 'Oh my God, that's not just in movies.' ' Leto's representative continued to deny these allegations, with Nightlife promoter Brent Bolthouse also claiming that he never saw skinny-dipping at Leto's house, a location that one of the allegations referenced as having a party with girls younger than 18 that were being motivated to skinny dip. As such, we'll have to see how this situation continues to develop. For now, Leto's representatives are adamant about their denials. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates regarding Jared Leto and the sexual misconduct allegations as we have them.

Kentucky Bigfoot calling contest is a scream

STANTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Music, food, and crafts at a recent festival in Stanton brought people out of the woodwork. It was also hoped the event would bring a creature out of the woods. 'If you talk about Bigfoot in certain circles, you're going to get laughed at,' said Steve Lindsey, one of the hosts of the Kentucky-based 'News Worthy??' podcast. 'Everybody is either here because they believe or they want to believe.' Kentucky Bigfoot calling contest is a scream Louisville's Cave Hill Cemetery: A final resting place full of history and mystery A ferry is still a loved way to cross the Kentucky River The first-ever Bigfoot Festival celebrated that there have been dozens of reports of the legendary creature in the nearby Red River Gorge. The cryptid would have been welcome at the festival, so much so that dozens of people lined up to call for him in a contest that was a real scream. No words can describe the variety of yells, whoops, and whistles performed by the crowd. Charlie Raymond, founder of the Kentucky Bigfoot Research Organization, leads local hunts for the creature. He was the perfect person to judge the contest, because he believes he's heard the real thing. 'You could tell some of them have done their homework,' he said. He said whoops and guttural growls are closer to the real thing. The crowd in the audience roared in approval. 'I can do long laughs and stuff and make a bunch of weird noises, so I just kind of knew what I would do,' Tennison said. Bigfoot didn't answer the call at this festival, but the creature sure has a fan club in these parts. You have to believe that if he ever comes out of hiding, he'd want to make tracks here. 'We were taken aback by how many people were excited about Bigfoot and Bigfoot calling. It was a successful event,' Raymond said. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. Mike Love Honors Cousin Brian Wilson: ‘The Soul of Our Sound'

Mike Love, one of the co-founders of the Beach Boys, paid tribute to his cousin and frontman Brian Wilson, who died at age 82. He joined fellow bandmate Al Jardine in honoring the legendary songwriter's legacy following news of his death. 'Today, the world lost a genius, and I lost a cousin by blood and my partner in music,' Love began in his robust tribute to Wilson, the group's frontman and chief songwriter. 'Brian Wilson wasn't just the heart of The Beach Boys—he was the soul of our sound.' More from Rolling Stone Carnie Wilson Mourns Dad Brian Wilson: 'I've Never Felt This Kind of Pain Before' Al Jardine Pays Tribute to Beach Boys Bandmate Brian Wilson: 'My Brother in Spirit' Elton John Calls Late Brian Wilson 'The Biggest Influence on My Songwriting' Love said that from the time he and Wilson sang together in his living room, he 'knew there was something otherworldly' in Wilson. 'His musical gifts were unmatched. The melodies he dreamed up, the emotions he poured into every note—Brian changed the course of music forever.' Wilson, along with the Beach Boys, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988. Upon his entry into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2000, Paul McCartney delivered the induction speech and called Wilson 'one of the great American geniuses.' In his tribute shared on Wednesday, Love acknowledged the 'moments of brilliance, heartbreak, laughter, complexity and most of all, LOVE' throughout his journey with Wilson. 'Like all families, we had our ups and downs. But through it all, we never stopped loving each other, and I never stopped being in awe of what he could do when he sat at a piano or his spontaneity in the studio,' he wrote. Love praised Wilson's 'unique artistry' and said that 'our collaboration gave the world the American dream of optimism, joy, and a sense of freedom—music that made people feel good, made them believe in an endless summer and endless possibilities.' 'It was our privilege to make the world believe in sunshine, surfing, and teenage dreams,' he continued, adding that his life 'was forever changed' by their 1966 album Pet Sounds and hit singles 'God Only Knows,' 'In My Room,' 'Good Vibrations,' 'The Warmth of the Sun,' and 'a hundred other pieces of his soul wrapped in music.' Love said that Wilson allowed the Beach Boys to 'show the world what vulnerability and brilliance sound like in harmony,' adding, 'He was fragile, he was intense, he was funny—and he was one of a kind.' Toward the end of his tribute, Love addressed the Beach Boys frontman directly: 'Brian, you once asked, 'Wouldn't it be nice if we were older?' Now you are timeless.' 'May you rest in the peace you so deeply deserve, surrounded by the heavenly music you helped create. May your spirit soar as high as your falsetto, may your wings spread in effortless flight,' wrote Love. 'Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal. I'll miss you forever, my beloved cousin.' Best of Rolling Stone Sly and the Family Stone: 20 Essential Songs The 50 Greatest Eminem Songs All 274 of Taylor Swift's Songs, Ranked
