Beloved EastEnders couple finally reunite but there's disaster ahead
Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) have finally reunited – but there may be trouble ahead…
It's about time these two settled down together, after clearly harbouring their feelings and trying to move on with other Albert Square residents.
In the last week they've been somewhat forced together, what with the whole family disowning matriarch Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal).
As viewers will recall, Suki had decided to conceal Ravi and Priya's daughter Avani's (Aaliyah James) pregnancy from them, in a bid to raise the child as her own.
Suki's wife Eve (Heather Peace) was firmly against the idea, and knew that the decision had to come from Avani. When she opted to have a termination, she took her to the clinic.
Back at home, Avani came clean to Ravi and Priya about her recent ordeal and Suki was in the firing line.
Ultimately, the clan decided they couldn't stand by her after the troubling secret and all moved into Ravi's flat.
In today's episode, Priya was quite enjoying the new set-up, and while not the most conventional, they were hoping a day out in the city would be just the ticket to lifting everyones spirits.
However, outside, an undercover police office watched their property intently.
Ravi clocked that something was afoot, and when he arrived at his now defunct restaurant Walford East, dealer Okie (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) told him that their main base had been raided and he'd had to clear out the stash before it could be discovered.
With other options exhausted, they were going to have to use Kojo Asare's (Dayo Koleosho) flat as their den.
Kojo's best mate Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) was firmly against the idea, fearful that he could be deported back to Ghana if he was found to be in the possession of drugs.
But Ravi wasn't taking no for an answer, he slammed a car bonnet down on Harry's hand and told him they had no choice.
Later, Okie emotionally blackmailed Kojo into allowing him to use the flat.
Priya was furious that Ravi had forgotten about their plans, and dragged him home for a serious conversation.

Ravi noted that she was including herself in those plans, and leaned in for a kiss. Priya reciprocated, and the two soon headed to bed together.
After an afternoon of passion, he assured her that he was committed to building a new life away from the criminal underworld, but of course he couldn't stick to his word!
After contemplating telling Okie that their operation was off, Ravi realised that he had no option to continue.

Singer Perrie Edwards has opened up about the 'horrendous' day she found out she had suffered a miscarriage. Perrie Edwards has bravely opened up about the "out of body experience" she felt when she discovered she had suffered a second miscarriage in 2022. The Little Mix star, 32, is mum to son Axel, who celebrates his fourth birthday this week, with her partner, former Arsenal footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, also 32. However, she has now revealed the heartbreaking loss they experienced less than a year after Axel's birth. "We went for what was a 20-week scan, but we were actually 22 weeks, and that was just the worst day of my life. Like horrendous. And I just knew something was wrong in the scan, and [the doctor] just kept going over the same thing, over the same thing... I've never experienced an out-of-body experience where everything goes in slow motion," Perrie recounted during a candid chat with Celebs Go Dating guru Paul C. [Alex] was injured at the time and he couldn't really drive. He was struggling to drive, but I couldn't see straight. I was just distraught. And yeah, we basically lost the baby at like 24 weeks." Perrie Edwards has bravely opened up about her heartbreaking experiences with miscarriage. The singer revealed that Axel, her son, is a "rainbow baby", a term used to describe a child born after a miscarriage or loss, reports the Mirror. She shared: "I had a miscarriage very early on with my first ever pregnancy, and it was so early. I remember finding out I was pregnant. Obviously, I started bleeding not long after, and I went to the hospital and I had the scan and they were like, 'There's no baby.'". The second miscarriage was particularly devastating for Perrie, as she and partner Alex had already begun preparing for their baby's arrival. "When you're fully, like carrying in your 24 weeks and you've planned out like that room and all these things, it's really hard. And nobody knows other than, like, immediate friends and family. And I remember, like, shortly after, like, friends would message and be like, 'how's the bump?' And I'll be like, there is no bump." Despite the heartache, Perrie cherishes her time being pregnant and is overjoyed to be a mum to Axel. "When I was pregnant with [Axel], like, I loved being pregnant, it was one of the happiest times of my life. Like, I just love carrying babies. And it was lovely. But I was a bit on edge thinking, oh, gosh, like, I want to get past the 12 weeks. I want to get past this. And when I get past every scan and that pregnancy was complete bliss, it was perfect." The South Shields-born vocalist has been dating footballer Alex, who currently plays for Turkish side Beşiktaş, since 2016, after they connected on celebrity dating platform Raya. The pair became engaged in 2022, with Alex arranging a romantic seaside proposal, though they've kept wedding plans under wraps. Before her romance with Alex, which Perrie characterises as "safe, calm and positive", the star was engaged to former One Direction member Zayn Malik. Both stars shot to prominence during their respective stints on The X Factor and dated for four years, starting when Perrie was just 19 years old before calling it quits in 2015. Reflecting on the "toxic" initial romance, Perrie confessed to Paul, "I think definitely at the time I thought everything we experienced in our relationship was normal. Because it was my first relationship, first love. I was like, 'Oh, this is how it's supposed to feel. It's supposed to feel a little bit toxic. In some ways, this is probably normal, right?' And then when I became single, I was almost thinking, like, I never, ever want to go through that again. I didn't even want to meet anybody. I was like, that's me done. I don't think I could bear that pain." Perrie went on to say that the ordeal has made her more appreciative of Alex's calming nature, "But now, reflecting back, I'm thinking, oh, that probably wasn't good. And I've noticed it a lot. Like in the start of the relationship, I would handle things differently with Alex, and he'd come at it with such a level head that it would throw me." "I don't feel anything bad towards the players who did that, but me personally, I couldn't have done it. The rivalry is just too much."
