
Wa'ad team is first semi-finalist in volleyball Championship
The team of Wa'ad Al-Akhira reached the golden square of the "Faith Identity" volleyball Championship, organized by the steering committee of the Yemeni General Federation for Volleyball, sponsored by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and supported by Kamran for Industry and Investment and Yemen Mobile.
The team qualified for the square with a valuable victory in its second match against Nour Al-Risalah team with two unanswered goals, 25/21 and 25/23, for the second group.
In an exciting match in the same group, Al-Nasr team won a hard-fought victory over Al-Fath by two halves to one, where the first half was won 27/25, before Al-Fath won the second half 26/24, but Al-Nasr came back in the third half and won it with a score of 15/12.
Thus, the competition for the two qualification cards for this group intensified after Al-Hawiya Al-Imaniya team topped the group with five points, followed by Al-Hikma Al-Yamania with four points, then Al-Taqwa third with three points, while Al-Iman Yaman finished last in the group with no points.
Today's matches were attended by the Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Yemeni General Volleyball Federation, Walid Faye, Head of the Technical Office at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mohammed Al-Kabari, Director of Sports Activities at the Youth, Youth and Sports Care Fund, Hamza Saleh, Secretary General of the Steering Committee, Bilal Al-Saari, Board members Khaled Al-Batool and Ahmed Al-Omari.
