Steelers' Aaron Rodgers predicts two offensive linemen to be involved in first camp fight
Steelers training camp on Wednesday was filled with hilarious moments — courtesy of the relationship between Aaron Rodgers and one of his closest friends and fellow Yinzer Pat McAfee.
Rodgers appeared on a special edition of The Pat McAfee Show live from Latrobe, where he joked that everyone is taking bets on which players will be the first to get into fights at training camp — picking two offensive linemen as his prediction.
"We're all taking side bets on who the first fight is gonna be," Rodgers said. "And if I'm a betting man, I'm saying that either Zach Frazier or Mason McCormick will be involved in the first fight."
Rodgers then added a hilarious one-liner when discussing the expectations at training camp.
"That's one of the rules, no fighting," Rodgers said. "But if something starts, whip his a--."
Jokes aside, the revamped Steelers roster checks a lot of boxes — including fiery personalities and trash talkers like CB Jalen Ramsey and WR DK Metcalf, two new acquisitions who continue to turn heads as camp rolls on.

Two Iowa football stars named preseason All-Americans
The Iowa Hawkeyes are littered with talent up and down their roster on offense, defense, and special teams. Wetjen returned 26 kickoffs, averaging 28 yards per return with a touchdown, and returned 26 punts for 12.6 yards per return with another touchdown. Gennings Dunker figures to be a staple on an Iowa offensive line that could be the catalyst of their success this year. He enters his fourth year with the program with 34 games and 25 starts under his belt. His experience and dependability will be called on by Iowa's offense all season long. Mike Tomlin: Will Howard week to week with broken pinkie finger
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin confirmed that rookie quarterback Will Howard broke a finger on this throwing hand. Howard wore a splint on his right pinky finger while watching practice Wednesday. He was injured on either a center-quarterback exchange or on a handoff to Evan Hull on Tuesday. Tomlin said the injury appears to be "non-surgical," though the sixth-round pick is exploring his options. While the Steelers call Howard "week to week," Mike DeFabo of reports that the team expects Howard to miss about four weeks. That would keep Howard out of the preseason. Skylar Thompson, who Howard had leap-frogged for the No. 3 job, will fill in behind Aaron Rodgers and Mason Rudolph.

Iowa football patiently awaiting injury return of key defensive cog
Iowa football is in the midst of its second week of fall camp. On Wednesday, Iowa head football coach Kirk Ferentz caught up with longtime Hawkeye play-by-play voice Gary Dolphin to update how camp is going. Ferentz revealed that Iowa's defensive depth up front has been tested early in camp. "Up front, Jeremiah Pittman's been out. Unfortunately he's coming off a knee repair, so he's still probably a week or two away from going, but it's given other guys an opportunity to get in there and work some. "Obviously, Aaron Graves on one side's pretty solid and then you've got guys like Will Hubert's really done a good job growing, developing. Bryce Hawthorne, young man from South Dakota State's really been impressive. Luke Gaffney. So, we'll have candidates. It's going to be interesting to see how it all develops and we'll get Jeremiah back at some point. I think at the end of the day, that group's going to be fine," Ferentz said. Pittman, a 6-foot-2, 285-pound graduate defensive lineman, was listed as one of Iowa's two starting defensive tackles to begin the spring opposite senior Aaron Graves. Pittman played in all 13 games last season, registering 17 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. The Palatine, Ill., product from St. Viator High School has notched 27 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, one pass breakup and one fumble recovery in his Hawkeye career thus far. Pittman has played in 26 games in his Iowa career and was a three-star signee per 247Sports in the 2021 class.
