I've used the Logitech G522 for two weeks — this is why it's my new favorite gaming headset

In my experience this headset ticks all the right boxes. It delivers crystal clear sound that puts you right in the middle of a game, and can last up to 70 hours with its RGB lighting disabled. The headset's lightweight and flexible design also makes it easy to wear during extended gaming sessions. It also offers three connectivity options and a removable microphone.
We'll have a full review of the Logitech G522 Lightspeed soon, but I want to detail why I've fallen in love with this device after using it for the past two weeks. Right now, it's easily one of the best gaming headsets out there. Here are three reasons why.

The dual-layer memory foam ear cups not only cushion, but they also keep your ears relatively cool. The earcups are pretty large and do an excellent job of covering my ears entirely. I prefer the soft fabric covering the ear cups over the leather found on similar devices, so I'm glad Logitech went with fabric.
You can't adjust the headband's length, but its suspension band helps accommodate most head sizes—even a big head like mine. The suspension band has ridges that provide better airflow to keep one's head cool. And since the G522 Lightspeed only weighs 290g, or a little over half a pound, I sometimes forget I'm wearing it.
The G522 Lightspeed offers excellent audio in whatever game you're playing. It's easy to tell where in-game sounds are coming from, which can prevent enemies from sneaking up on you in first-person shooters like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. But even outside of competitive games, the spatial audio offers a more immersive experience.
This headset offers fantastic bass that helps everything sound richer and fuller. Beast roars in Monster Hunter Wilds sound punchy and convincing, as do shotgun blasts in Doom: The Dark Ages. Bass, or the lack thereof, is something that can make or break speakers for me, so I'm glad the G522 Lightspeed doesn't disappoint in this area.
Speaking of sound quality, the removable 48 kHz mic helps you sound great, whether you're playing online or in a video call. I recorded a clip of myself talking, and was pleased with how full my voice sounded. The friends I played Monster Hunter Wilds with also said I sounded as good on the G522 Lightspeed as I do on the much more expensive Corsair Virtuoso Max.
Logitech says the headset can last up to 70 hours with RGB disabled and up to 30 hours with RGB turned on. Based on my experience, I'm inclined to believe this claim.
I've used the G522 Lightspeed for two weeks and haven't had to charge it yet. Mind you, I'm playing with RGB turned off and have probably used it for a total of 20 hours between gaming and video calls. Regardless, this is a truly long-lasting headset that won't quickly run out of battery at an inopportune time.

My Favorite Wireless Keyboard Is 20% Off Right Now
Over a decade ago, Logitech made the perfect keyboard for my needs: the K810. It was a compact tenkeyless wireless keyboard with Bluetooth and backlit keys. While those two boxes are far from hard to check off today, they were at the time. Best of all, I loved that I could seamlessly switch the keyboard to up to three different devices by just tapping a key. It wasn't perfect, though. It has the same compact and minimal design, backlit keys that are more comfortable to type on, easy switching to other devices, a much-needed upgrade to USB-C for charging, and a solid build quality that goes toe-to-toe with Apple's Magic Keyboard. In fact, I have no problem recommending the Keys Mini over Apple's equivalent offering any day of the week. The Keys Mini comes with a $100 price tag that might be a hard pill to swallow for some, but if you're like me and spend several hours a day using a keyboard (and, yes, I'm typing this on my Keys Mini), the price is justified. And right now, you can grab the MX Keys Mini in pale gray for 20% off at Amazon. If you're not a keyboard snob and just need a keyboard for casual use, I'd still recommend the MX Keys Mini. Typing on it is a great experience, especially if you like a minimal and compact layout. Why I like the Logitech MX Keys Mini keyboard The MX Keys Mini has a lot going for it. The backlit keys automatically turn off when I'm not using the keyboard and turn on as my hands approach it. Its ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness of the keys to my current lighting conditions, though I can also manually adjust this as well. The surface of the keys themselves are slightly concave, so typing on them feels great. I love this keyboard so much that I have two of them. David Carnoy/CNET I also love the battery life. Logitech's website claims the Keys Mini will last up to 10 days on a single charge or up to five months with the backlighting turned off. That seems to undersell it. Even with daily use, I don't find myself having to charge the keyboard more than once a month. The top row of keys comes with some standard and not-so-standard abilities. The expected multimedia, volume, Esc and Del keys are present, along with the three easy switch buttons to change the Bluetooth connection to another device I've already paired to and the backlight intensity keys. The keyboard has a useful and dedicated dictation key, a mic mute/unmute key and an emoji key to open the emoji window for supported apps. While I can't say I've ever used the emoji key, I love the idea that enough typists want something like this and that Logitech included it. The MX Keys Mini is about two-thirds the size of MX Keys. Logitech Launches 'G522 LIGHTSPEED' Wireless Gaming Headset
Summary Logitech Ghas updated its LIGHTSPEED line of gaming peripherals with the introduction of the G522 LIGHTSPEED wireless gaming headset – a successor to the incredibly popular G733 LIGHTSPEED headset from 2020. The G522 has been redesigned to have smoother, more rounded edges and 'sleeker curves' that contribute to a more refined silhouette. It has been created with long gaming sessions in mind and ensuring it delivered maximum comfort was key for the brand. To this, Logitech G redesigned the ear cups to make them wider and added an extra layer of memory foam that it says enhances cushioning as well as well helps with cooling. Additionally, the headset features a new fabric that's 'softer and more durable' and a newly designed reversible headband that 'rests flatter and more evenly across the head.' Logitech G says it used a large range of people throughout its fit testing, including those that wear glasses and people with earrings. Internally, the G522's is built with all-new PRO-G drivers that the Logitech G says deliver its 'highest-fidelity' sound. These are joined by an impressive digital signal processor that's capable of producing 48 kHz/24-bit audio, allowing gamers to hear subtle in-game sounds such as incoming enemy footsteps more clearly.
