Major Emmerdale couple get back together - but heartbreak might follow
Lewis has an excellent skill in being able to read people – having deduced that Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) killed his mum based purely on Moira and Ross' reactions to him.
As a reader of people, once he learns that Ross and Steph were once a thing, he immediately knows it's not over. He sets about getting them back together.
Steph and Ross broke up after Steph's mental health declined having learned that her grandfather had abused her mother as a teenager, and she was the result. Their relationship couldn't survive her trauma.
Having seen what Lewis is up to, Steph's mum Ruby (Beth Cordingly) gets involved, encouraging Steph to give things with Ross another go.
Ruby and Lewis are on a mission to make this happen, with Lewis cleverly orchestrating a scenario where Ross must give Steph a lift to her therapy session when her car breaks down.
The trick works and their reunion seems to be going swimmingly when once alone, Steph tells Ross she is ready to take things to the next level and hints they head upstairs. More Trending
That one night is enough to seal the deal, and Steph delights her family with the news at breakfast that they are back together. But things were never going to be that easy and their new bubble is threatened by a big lie.

Drag queens being loaded into police cars after rally sets 'terrible precedent'
A story time event for children – featuring 'sing-alongs and dancing' and led by two drag performers – was held at a library in Belfast. This – of all things – is what drew a crowd of protesters on the steps of the Holywood Arches Library on Friday, leading to the queens being escorted away in police cars. Footage circulating on social media shows the rally, with a woman behind the camera heard shouting, 'Shame on both of you, leave the kids alone, seriously.' As tensions escalated, the ticketed event was abandoned and Lady Portia Di'Monte, also known as the 'North Ireland's First Lady of Drag', and Miss Dora Belle were taken away 'to ensure that there would be no breach of the peace.' Lady Portia had read storybooks to the children, including family favourites such as Dear Zoo, while Miss Dora Belle narrated them using British Sign Language (BSL). Drag artist Crystal argued that there is a 'real, clear misunderstanding' and that cancelling such events because of 'fringe protesters' sets a 'terrible' precedent. The RuPaul's Drag Race star told Metro: 'Watching two drag queens getting escorted out by the police is very depressing. 'It sets a terrible precedent that fringe protesters with believes that do not represent the whole of society or even the majority of society are able to – if they are loud enough – get events cancelled and make people unsafe on. The DUP's Gordon Lyons said the event, hosted by the EastSide Partnership, 'was not appropriate for children' and had 'compromised the perception of our public libraries as a welcoming and inclusive space for all'. It's been three years since Wednesday landed on our screens with Jenna Ortega portraying the brattiest member of the Addams family and titular gothic teenager. Since coming out, the Tim Burton-directed horror-comedy series has made a lasting impression as the most popular English-language show on the streaming platform, with a whopping 252,100,000 views. For comparison, trailing behind at the number two spot is Adolescence with a respectable, but considerably smaller sum of 142.6 million views. The show offers a new take on the iconic fictional family with a focus on Wednesday as a scathing teen who gets caught up solving a murder mystery with her new roommate (brighter-than-the-sun) Enid Sinclair (portrayed by Emma Myers). On Google Reviews, Aaron R called it 'creepy, kooky and spooky', adding: 'Jenna Ortega IS Wednesday with a knockout performance worthy of praise, and Tim Burton's distinct vision for the show is stellar. Bottom line is there's a lot of fun to be had here and is certainly worth a binge or two. Go watch it.' 'Jenna Ortega's portrayal of the titular Wednesday is both spot-on and surprisingly nuanced, capturing the character's signature deadpan wit and sharp intelligence while also delving into her complex emotions. 'The series cleverly blends the macabre with teenage angst, creating a unique and darkly humorous world,' Harshasai Gubbala added. Over on Rotten Tomatoes, Collixen D praised it for 'so many twists and turns'. Dan W love its 'dark humour' and Jacob D called it a 'near perfect series' with 'incredible world building'. All in all, the show has secured a steady 85% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes as well as plenty of critical acclaim with 12 Emmy nominations, including four wins. A season one rewatch is sure to whet the appetite for the new episodes which will feature Lady Gaga as a Nevermore teacher alongside a new single, Dead Dance.
