Jeff Brazier beams as he reunites with son Freddie in sweet snap despite family feud

TV presenter Jeff Brazier has reunited with sons Freddie and Bobby amid a legal dispute and ongoing family tensions as Freddie continues to face his personal struggles
Jeff Brazier has reunited with sons Bobby and Freddie for a rare family gathering, despite rising tensions behind the scenes.

The 46-year-old TV presenter was joined by his two sons, whom he shared with the late Jade Goody, as well as other relatives, to celebrate his mother Janette's birthday.

Posting a smiling family photo, Jeff wrote: "Lovely to have the full squad together yesterday to celebrate my Mum's birthday. Will always be in her debt for the help she has been over the years."

The warm family moment is in stark contrast to the seemingly strained relationship between Jeff, 46, and Freddie, 20. Recent reports have revealed that Freddi is currently embroiled in a legal battle with his father, who has allegedly taken steps to block him from visiting his maternal grandmother, Jackiey Budden.
Jeff is said to be concerned about her influence, with their ongoing disputes stretching back years following the tragic death of Jackiey's daughter Jade, who died after a battle with cervical cancer when she was just 27-years-old.

Despite the turmoil, Jeff appeared on Loose Women on Tuesday share a rare update on his relationship with Freddie. Promoting his role in 101 Dalmatians: The Musical, he spoke about Freddie's interest in seeing him perform.
"I was with both the lads yesterday and Freddie is showing more eagerness to come and watch," Jeff said.
As for Bobby, the EastEnders actor, Jeff added: "He's been a bit casual about it… Bobby is going to come soon and no doubt there will be a critique that follows. He does trust me, I think he's always admired the fact that I chuck myself in. Whether that's a good idea or not, it soon follows doesn't it?"

It comes as Freddie's year has been marked by several personal challenges which he has documented on his social media platforms.
Earlier in 2025, he left the family home to live with his grandmother Jackiey. He later announced plans to enter rehab in Spain due to an addiction to 'smoking,' but ultimately decided against it.

Most recently, he ended his relationship with girlfriend Holly Swimburn, shortly after the couple adopted an adorable dog together.
A source told the Mail: "Things got very intense very quickly… but it has turned ugly pretty fast. There has been an almighty fall out and neither party believes they're in the wrong."

Freddie also had a rough encounter at the airport in early July, where he reportedly missed a flight and got into a fight. 'Missed my flight, got punched and got a fine on the train,' he wrote online. 'What a s** day.'*
Older brother Bobby later told The Sun: "Freddy will be OK… he's a good boy." He added, "He's very sensitive and wants to please. When he grows up a little bit, that will serve him well."

New EastEnders star is a nepo baby as famous family members who have also starred in BBC soap are revealed

Max Murray has landed a role in EastEnders alongside legendary stars but it has now been revealed he comes from a long-line of actors and singers in his family. The youngster has been portraying character Joel Marshall since February this year but it turns out he is actually following in his famous mum's footsteps. Max is the son of actress Gina Murray, who has starred in a number of well known programmes including The Bill, Doctors and The Hunt for Raoul Moat and appeared in the BBC soap back in 2014 playing Helen. Gina's character Helen arrived in Albert Square as a hair specialist to help Carol Jackson, who was struggling with losing her hair as she fought off cancer. It was Helen's role to help Carol find a wig. Max is also the nephew of Mazz Murray, who is a successful TV and theatre actress, starring in Sunset Boulevard, Mamma Mia and Chicago to name but a few. In 2004, Mazz also starred on EastEnders as a waitress called Miranda who had a brawl with Heather Trott and Shirley Carter. The youngster has been portraying character Joel Marshall since February this year but turns out he is actually following in his famous mum's footsteps In 2017, Mazz returned to Walford but this time was playing a character called Julie, who was a divorced woman who hired Keanu Taylor as a male escort for a night of fun and frolics. Max's character Joel is the step-son of Vicky Fowler, who returned to the square for the funeral of her uncle Martin Fowler. Her new boyfriend Ross is played by Alex Walkinshaw. At the time when Max's role was announced, he told the Mirror: 'It's an absolute privilege and honour to be joining such a wonderful production full of a lovely cast and crew. 'I'm really looking forward to introducing Joel to EastEnders viewers and telling his story.' It comes as EastEnders favourite Nicholas Bailey will make a shock return as Dr. Anthony Trueman to the soap, more than a decade since he was last seen in Walford. The character – son of Patrick Trueman (played by Rudolph Walker) – will be back on screens in scenes to air in the summer. Anthony first arrived on the Square in 2000 and quickly made waves, thanks in part to a steamy romance with Kat Slater (played by Jessie Wallace). Now, 11 years on from his last stint, the GP is set for a dramatic reunion with his dad this summer as Patrick and Yolande prepare to tie the knot. Anthony last appeared in EastEnders in 2014 when he rushed to his father's side when Patrick suffered a stroke. Since then, he has led a life away from Walford but in upcoming scenes viewers will see he is invited to his father's impending nuptials and decides to return for the occasion. In a post on the official Eastenders Instagram account, the long running soap teased the visit to Walford comes at a significant moment for Patrick, which means Anthony stays longer than he originally intended. In a statement, executive producer Ben Wadey said: 'It's great to welcome Nicholas back to the EastEnders family to reunite Patrick with his son. 'But Anthony's plan for a brief return to surprise his father ends up with him staying longer than he expected when he uncovers what has been going on in the Trueman household.' Nicholas who will reprise the iconic role added: 'It is an unexpected treat to return to EastEnders and I'm full of gratitude to get the opportunity to revisit the character of Anthony. 'It's wonderful to work with Rudolph Walker again - he's such a big part of my journey as an actor and I loved filming my first scenes with him after so long.

Gregg Wallace fears he will be stripped of MBE after BBC sacking - 'What will be my legacy?'

Former Masterchef host Gregg Wallace has opened up on his fears over being stripped of his MBE following his sacking from the BBC show as he asks what his legacy now be Former MasterChef host Gregg Wallace has sensationally revealed that, in the wake of his sacking from the BBC, he fears he will be stripped of his MBE that was awarded to him in 2022 for his services to food and charity. The 60 year old presenter, who became known across the nation for presenting MasterChef and Celebrity MasterChef, believes his career is now over after he was fired from the broadcaster following accusations of inappropriate behaviour. He had been a firm fixture on the show since 2005 until he was suspended last year. Earlier this month, 45 claims out of a staggering 83 allegations were upheld after a seven-month investigation, which covered the period between 2005 and 2024. The BBC has confirmed they have "no plans to work with him in the future." In a new interview, the former greengrocer is now facing further turmoil as he fears there could be another level of humiliation if his MBE is taken away from him. Speaking to The Sun, he questioned his legacy. He said: "What will my legacy be now? I don't want it to be telly, I want nothing to do with it all. I have worried about losing my MBE but there's not a lot I can do about it." He added: "But I haven't done anything illegal and hopefully now more and more people will realise that I haven't been exposing myself, and I haven't been groping people either." He continued: "So now I want to start campaigning — raising more awareness of neurodiversity in the workplace." " I think perceptions may slowly change and all I want is people to ask questions of people whose behaviour they find odd — even people that might look like a football hooligan to you.," he said. "You can't decide which groups of people or which disabilities you will support or won't support in the workplace. You either embrace it all or you don't," he added. Gregg has now claimed that the BBC should have spotted his autism and advised him to go to Occupational Health rather than "letting all these complaints build up against me." This is something the former presenter said he feels "very angry about that." Gregg was diagnosed with autism in January. The BBC has confirmed that they will air the final season of MasterChef that was recorded with Gregg and his co-host John Torode, before their sacking. John had been axed from the show after an investigation confirmed that he had used racist language before.

Coleen Nolan says her son 'f***ed up his marriage' during 'horrendous' secret drug battle

Coleen Nolan has revealed that her son, Shane, suffered a secret battle with drugs which saw him 'hit rock bottom' and ruin his marriage to his beauty queen ex-wife, Maddie Wahdan. Coleen Nolan has revealed that her son, Shane, 'f***ed up' his marriage to Miss Great Britain star Maddie Wahdan amid a secret battle with drug addiction. The 36-year-old singer, who Coleen shares with ex-husband Shane Richie, s plit from the beauty queen in December 2023 amid reports he had been unfaithful - just a year after they had tied the knot. ‌ Now, Shane has opened up about his battle with drug addiction at the time, which saw him be admitted to rehab as his family feared for his life. Speaking about the ordeal for the first in a new video for her YouTube channel, Loose Women star Coleen, 60, said told her son, " It might be a great high for however long but you were broke, you got into a lot of debt, as everyone does with addiction. Relationships, you f***ed your marriage basically." ‌ At the time of Shane's split from Maddie, it was reported that Coleen was been upset' and 'disappointed' over the split, with sources claiming it was like 'history repeating itself' after his father cheated on Coleen back in the 90s. Now, he is in a new relationship with girlfriend Kimberly Sallis, and revealed earlier this month they are expecting their first child together. ‌ Crediting Kimberly for helping him through the drug addiction, Shane said in the video, "I think I've had to grow up. I've got a girlfriend who has helped me through it massively, we're starting a family now." Admitting that his hectic work schedule led to the addiction starting, the singer explained, "The constant moving, the travelling all of the time, having to be on stage until 11 o'clock at night, so the only way to pick yourself up is to [do drugs]. ‌ 'I'd have a three day bender but I wasn't [doing drugs] Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. It probably would have got to that. I was splitting up, I was going through a tough time work wise, I didn't know what I wanted to do," he continued. For Coleen, the situation had her fearing her son may not make it, as she recalled there was a 'breaking point' before he was admitted to a rehab centre. 'I remember when the time came that you passed out and split your head open early in the morning. He split his head open and got eight staples, or whatever it is, in his head. That was my breaking point, if this doesn't wake him up, he will... I kept saying, 'He's going to die'," she told Shane in the video. ‌ Blaming herself, Coleen continued, "'From a mother's point of view, I just felt I'd done something wrong. I really blamed me for all of it. People kept saying, 'You have to talk to him, you have to do this' and I couldn't. I thought, 'I'm really failing on all levels though'. "So, when you split your head open, I thought the next call could be, 'He's overdosed'. I just remember thinking, 'I've just failed him and I can't take this pain away from him', If I could've taken it for myself I would've." Now, with Shane sober and set to welcome a new baby, Coleen says the family can finally relax: 'It's only until recently we've all just relaxed. The difference for me now, is you're just nicer to be around. I didn't dread you coming around, but I kind of did. I don't know, it was horrible."
