Coleen Nolan says her son 'f***ed up his marriage' during 'horrendous' secret drug battle
Coleen Nolan has revealed that her son, Shane, 'f***ed up' his marriage to Miss Great Britain star Maddie Wahdan amid a secret battle with drug addiction. The 36-year-old singer, who Coleen shares with ex-husband Shane Richie, s plit from the beauty queen in December 2023 amid reports he had been unfaithful - just a year after they had tied the knot.
Now, Shane has opened up about his battle with drug addiction at the time, which saw him be admitted to rehab as his family feared for his life. Speaking about the ordeal for the first in a new video for her YouTube channel, Loose Women star Coleen, 60, said told her son, " It might be a great high for however long but you were broke, you got into a lot of debt, as everyone does with addiction. Relationships, you f***ed your marriage basically."
At the time of Shane's split from Maddie, it was reported that Coleen was been upset' and 'disappointed' over the split, with sources claiming it was like 'history repeating itself' after his father cheated on Coleen back in the 90s. Now, he is in a new relationship with girlfriend Kimberly Sallis, and revealed earlier this month they are expecting their first child together.
Crediting Kimberly for helping him through the drug addiction, Shane said in the video, "I think I've had to grow up. I've got a girlfriend who has helped me through it massively, we're starting a family now."
Admitting that his hectic work schedule led to the addiction starting, the singer explained, "The constant moving, the travelling all of the time, having to be on stage until 11 o'clock at night, so the only way to pick yourself up is to [do drugs].
'I'd have a three day bender but I wasn't [doing drugs] Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. It probably would have got to that. I was splitting up, I was going through a tough time work wise, I didn't know what I wanted to do," he continued.
For Coleen, the situation had her fearing her son may not make it, as she recalled there was a 'breaking point' before he was admitted to a rehab centre.
'I remember when the time came that you passed out and split your head open early in the morning. He split his head open and got eight staples, or whatever it is, in his head. That was my breaking point, if this doesn't wake him up, he will... I kept saying, 'He's going to die'," she told Shane in the video.
Blaming herself, Coleen continued, "'From a mother's point of view, I just felt I'd done something wrong. I really blamed me for all of it. People kept saying, 'You have to talk to him, you have to do this' and I couldn't. I thought, 'I'm really failing on all levels though'.
"So, when you split your head open, I thought the next call could be, 'He's overdosed'. I just remember thinking, 'I've just failed him and I can't take this pain away from him', If I could've taken it for myself I would've."
Now, with Shane sober and set to welcome a new baby, Coleen says the family can finally relax: 'It's only until recently we've all just relaxed. The difference for me now, is you're just nicer to be around. I didn't dread you coming around, but I kind of did. I don't know, it was horrible."

Molly-Mae Hague warns fans of deepfake perfume ad as she's targeted by AI scam
Molly-Mae Hague has said she had "never even smelt" the perfume that the deepfake advert claims is her favourite - as the 26-year-old laments the "scary" use of deep-fake clips Molly-Mae Hague has warned fans about the dangers of artificial intelligence after a fake video of her promoting a perfume went viral. The influencer and businesswoman, 26, shared a video online discussing a fan interaction that left her shaken up over the use of the technology. She said: 'Yesterday while I was in London, a girl came up to me and she was like oh I've just bought my best friend the perfume you love, for her birthday.' The girl told Molly-Mae that she had bought 'that Nyla one from TikTok '. The former Love Island star said: 'I was gobsmacked, I was like 'that's AI.'' Molly-Mae's sister, Zoe Rae, said: 'I thought it was a clip from an old YouTube video that they've used.' However, Molly-Mae continued on to say: 'There's this clip going around on TikTok, they do it with loads of different people, they'll literally put AI over the clip and be like 'this is Molly's favourite perfume' and it's me saying 'oh I love this Nyla perfume' in my literal voice but it's AI, how scary.' She told fans: 'People are actually buying this perfume thinking that it's my favourite perfume, and I've never even smelt it.' Molly-Mae is not the first celebrity to be the victim of deep-fake videos - with stars like Tom Hanks, Scarlett Johansson, Nigella Lawson, and even Martin Lewis warning against the damaging effects of this technology. A deepfake is described as a video or sound recording that replaces a person's face or voice with that of someone else. They can be incredibly realistic, and used to sell products or services online. Police UK says that some deepfake content can take on the 'exact likeness of a real person'. While they aren't always harmful or illegal, it says that they are 'sometimes used for malicious and criminal purposes". The comment section on a clip of Molly-Mae's video was divided, with one person writing: 'If people are gullible enough to believe that Molly-Mae or any other celeb wears some cheap TikTok shop perfume then that's on them.' Another said: 'It's very obvious lol. I've seen the same thing about different influencers and different perfumes on TikTok.' However, others explained that they were victims of the fake advert. One person said: 'I didn't even realise it was AI until now.' Someone else posted: 'Omg I feel for this too! I bought it!' A third commented: 'Ahhh man why am I seeing this after I've already bought it.' The Advertising Standards Agency revealed earlier this year that it received 1,691 reports of potential scams in 2024. Celebrity scams were the biggest trend, it said, as they made up the 'vast majority of Scam Ad Alerts' sent last year. It warned: 'The public interest in celebs and other public figures means scammers continue to turn to them to promote cryptocurrency, investment, keto slimming gummies and the like.' If you see an online advert featuring a celebrity, you should do some checks before handing over your details or buying the product. The ASA says: 'Check if they are posting from their official account and consider if the ad seems out of character. While some celebrities do endorse products, they don't usually promote complex investments or wonder cures."

Pamela Anderson says she was 'nervous' to meet Liam Neeson amid romance rumours
Pamela Anderson has admitted to being 'nervous' to meet Liam Neeson on the set of The Naked Gun but he has revealed how the unique way she created 'chemistry' between them Pamela Anderson has admitted that she was 'very nervous' to meet Liam Neeson on set of The Naked Gun. The Baywatch legend, 58, has had a major career revival in recent years and recently enjoyed a star turn in The Last Showgirl but now she is back on-screen alongside fellow A-lister Liam in the upcoming action comedy, admitted amid romance rumours that she had assumed he was 'very scary' before they actually worked together. During an appearance on Monday's Loose Women in a pre-recorded segment with panelist GK Barry, she explained: "Your nerves are always going before you meet an entire crew and everybody all at once but especially meeting Liam. It was really scary, because he's so scary. He's had an amazing career and I feel like I'm just starting so I felt a little insecure. But then the butterflies went away and there you are." But in the end, Pamela and Liam were able to bond simply by spending 'so much time' together during production, and insisted that there was a "a kind of natural chemistry that happened, I don't know if it always happens but we were lucky". Liam revealed that his co-star would often bake for him, as he explained during the joint interview: "Pamela is a fantastic cook, she's a baker, and she, very sweetly, numerous times made me some sourdough bread." However, GK stopped the interview momentarily to note her surprise at the model's self-conscious nature as she reminded her: "You are Pamela Anderson...". But the actress was quick to note that she isn't fond of hearing her full moniker, as she claimed: "I don't like that name. Every time I hear that name I sometimes, it just sounds funny." Pamela, who was famously married to Motley Crue rocker Tommy Lee in the 1990s and has sons Brandon 29, and Dylan, 27, with him also admitted that it was just 'nice to play a role in a film' as opposed to her 'a role in personal life' but insisted that amid this period of her career, she is doing things on her terms. She said: "I'm just doing it my own way. I'm not listening to too much of the advice of others because I don't know what my next incarnation will be or what I want to be but I just feel more comfortable this way right now. But it could change tomorrow, we could change our mind!" Liam recently joked that filming the 'sex scenes' with Pamela was his favourite part of filming the latest instalment. He also commented on having an intimacy coordinator on set. "I'd never had one before. But she was in the background. There was no kind of, 'OK! Excuse me!'," he said. Pamela, who plays a nightclub singer who goes to Police Squad for help after her brother is murdered, said the intimacy coordinator knew when to walk away. She joked that the staff member stormed off as Liam claimed she was exasperated and said: "I can't take this! This is too hot for me. I'm going for coffee." Liam and Pamela had nothing but compliments for each other, with Liam previously telling People that he was "madly in love" with the former Playboy cover star." She's just terrific to work with," he said. "I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film." And last month, Pamela said: "Our chemistry was clear from the start. We have the utmost respect for one another. I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant so our relationship stayed 'professionally romantic' during filming."

Molly-Mae Hague sobs after being branded 'out of touch'
Former Love Island star and mum-of-one Molly-Mae Hague has addressed being called 'out of touch' by fans as she shows the realities and difficulties of motherhood in her latest YouTube vlog Molly-Mae Hague broke down in tears and sobbed in her car in her latest YouTube video as she offered a glimpse into the realities of motherhood. The former Love Island star, 26, who shares two-year-old daughter Bambi with professional boxer Tommy Fury, filmed herself crying in her car after a difficult morning with the toddler. The influencer has been incredibly open about how difficult she finds being a mum over the past two years, and in her latest vlog, Molly's patience was tested more than ever. At the beginning of the video, Molly confessed that she was apprehensive to share her struggles with motherhood after she was labelled as 'out of touch' last week after fans became annoyed when she claimed that she had not done anything fun all summer - despite going on several holidays and attending Wimbledon and DisneyLand. However, the mum-of-one decided to continue to share the difficulties of everyday life with a toddler despite the backlash. Viewers watched as Molly was reduced to tears after taking Bambi to a local farm to pet some animals. Luckily, Molly's older sister Zoe Rae was on hand to give her a break for a couple of minutes as she sobbed in the car and took a few moments to calm down and compose herself after Bambi had another tantrum. Addressing the criticism she has received, Molly insisted that she's not going to stop showing the realities of motherhood after she was labelled as 'out of touch' and 'selfish' in her previous vlog, while others slammed her parenting style with Bambi as 'too soft'. Speaking to her YouTube subscribers, Molly said through tears: "I'm trying so so hard to stay positive but, I feel like I need to keep my camera running all day so you can see like every single thing, Bambi is a huge problem, she screams and I can't even get like socks and shoes on. "I don't care who tells me I am out of touch with reality or all this stuff thats going on on TikTok at the minute, I don't care I'm not going to not talk about it. "I feel like I don't want to talk about anything controversial anymore because in the last video I said some things I probably could have worded better and even with all the motherhood things I am talking about at the minute, it's just a lot'. "Debunking that whole thing about me feeling like I shouldn't talk about what is going on in the day because I am scared about what people will think and what they have to say about it." Molly then explained why her partner Tommy is not seen in the vlogs with Bambi after some fans slammed him for not being there to help Molly with parenting Bambi. "I've seen so many comments sayin Zoe is more the dad. I only vlog when I am not with Tommy, I am with Tommy literally 80% of the week and he is with Bambi majority of the week," Molly insisted. "But I Vlog when we are here and he is at his because it's just something that I am not ready to like open up with yet and like flinging the camera around like when we're a family. I just think like we're not there yet and still figuring out life and living situations. I'm not ready to vlog like we used to." Molly's emotional breakdown comes after she was told to "get a grip" as she detailed her holiday struggles on her recent motorhome trip with Tommy. The couple have been busy mending their romance, having revealed they were getting back together in the second instalment of her Prime Video series, 'Behind It All', back in May. They took a recent trip to the Isle of Man, sharing their escapades across social media. However, after getting back, Molly-Mae told all about it and her openness didn't go down well with all her followers. 'Tommy has bought a motorhome and we spent our first weekend in the motorhome this weekend," he explained. 'Obviously, being us, we went in feet first and decided to go to the Isle of Man. "We booked the ferry, packed the motorhome up and nearly didn't make the ferry but that's another story and then there was a two hour delay. This ferry, which was already gonna get us in at 11:30pm, which was already severely triggering me because Bambi goes to bed at 7pm. 'Was not fine! It was giving me a prime example as to why the routine works for us. It was one of those moments where strangers come up to you and are like 'can I help? Is there anything I can do?' She was screaming that much for four hours straight. The boat basically had a malfunction and it wouldn't move for like two hours so we had a huge delay. She was so, so, so overtired and overstimulated - Bambi is so routine, she is the opposite of flexible.' 'We managed to get to the Isle of Man at 1:30am in the morning. We didn't know where we were, what we were doing, we were going to a different campsite to Tommy's family. It was just a lot. We had to make our bed out of this sofa, I was like 'I'm really out of my depth, I'm struggling'. 'The next day, Bambi was so tired, she was just screaming, literally screaming, so, so unhappy. 'Me and Tommy were looking at each other like 'what were we thinking?'' Things got better once she and Tommy met up with Tyson Fury, his wife Paris and their seven children. She went on: 'We were actually going to get on a ferry that day to come home because we were so out of our depth, we couldn't do it. But then, when we met up with them, we were like 'no, we're gonna stick it out, we can do this.'' One person said: 'Why is she always complaining about something? If it's not her, it's her sister How insufferable must it be living with them.' Another person chipped in by saying: 'So dramatic' while a third followers told the former Love Island star to stop moaning and "get a grip". A fourth person said: 'I personally feel it would have been so much better to wait to have children, she's so successful and mature in one way but very self-centred and immature in others as seen here.' But there were plenty supporting her, with a fan telling the star she is "handling it all superbly".
