Denise Richards makes surprising career move amid bitter divorce with Aaron Phypers

Denise Richards is back to filming the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills amid her ugly split from estranged husband Aaron Phypers.
The 54-year-old actress - who recently showed off a major makeover - was seen on set at Oaxacan restaurant Madre in Los Angeles with cast members Sutton Stracke and Erika Jayne on Saturday night.
It would be an interesting move as she has not been on the main cast of RHOBH since season 10 in 2020 which was her lone season in that capacity.
She returned in a guest capacity for season 13 from 2023-2024.
More recently she starred on the family reality series Denise Richards & Her Wild Things alongside her aforementioned estranged husband Aaron and her daughters Lola Sheen, Sami Sheen and Eloise Richards.
The show will not be returning for a second season.
Meanwhile, Denise had a dramatic entrance and chatted to Sutton and Erika about her ongoing divorce battle during their Saturday outing according to TMZ.
The publication's sources revealed that she will be unpacking her split on the reality show but it remains unclear whether she will be part of the main cast or returning as a guest.
This comes days after Denise turned to celebrity hair guru Chris McMillan for an updated look.
The actress — who is going through an ugly divorce from estranged husband — sought out the stylist for a refresh, which he sharereal housewived on Instagram.
In a joint post with the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Chris shared multiple photos of their salon session and a detailed breakdown of his service.
'LOVE ME SOME @deniserichards,' he began the caption, adding, 'Finally all grown out and healthy long BRONDE hair.'
He gushed about the Hollywood fixture, 'I've known Denise 30 years now and she is the kindest, sweetest, most loving human ever. All we do is LAUGH. Makes my day when I see her every time.'
Chris noted that he cut Denise's hair into 'loose long layers,' giving it 'loose movement' to complement her 'big blue eyes and infectious smile.'
It would be an interesting move as she has not been on the main cast of RHOBH since season 10 in 2020 which was her lone season in that capacity
Last week Denise's estranged spouse Aaron, 52, alleged that she has been having a months-long affair with a former special forces soldier named Rudy Reyes; pictured in June 2023
His cut, along with color applied by KC Carhart Speers, helped her 'achieve natural effortless hair.'
For her part, Denise shared a photo from her salon visit via Instagram Stories and thanked the hair expert.
She soundtracked Lenny Kravitz's song Fly Away and wrote, 'Thank you, Chris, for my haircut and making me laugh today. I love you and I love your new products!'
Denise looked bright-eyed and upbeat in the smiley images, which showed her dressed in a pair of olive green overalls.
It comes after last week her estranged spouse Aaron, 52, alleged that she has been having a months-long affair with a former special forces soldier named Rudy Reyes.
He claimed in a detailed letter to 'family and close friends' that Reyes has showered her with X-rated photos and videos, including a graphic clip that shows him naked and pleasuring himself.
In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, the Wild Things actress' outraged husband, who filed for divorce in early July, claimed he caught wind of his wife's alleged affair in April.
He said she had promised to break it off, only for him to catch her lying about another hook-up with 53-year-old Rudy that took place at a Hilton Garden Inn in Burbank, California, the following month.
He claimed his discovery of the May tryst then led to an explosive argument over the July 4th holiday weekend, during which she smashed his phone.
After Aaron filed divorce paperwork on July 7, Denise hit back a week later with a request for a temporary restraining order (which she was granted) that included a laundry list of domestic abuse allegations — all of which her husband has denied.
He said he is waiting for an upcoming August court hearing in which a judge will decide if the order is lifted, and until then, he is banned from going near his estranged wife and their adopted daughter Eloise, 14, whom he says he adores and misses terribly.

Disney gives surprising update on prices

Disney lovers are still pouring into the company's US theme parks — despite massive ticket price hikes. The boom in visitors to Disney World in Orlando and Disneyland near LA was key to a big jump in profits. One-day admission has doubled over the past decade, adding more than $100 per person, according to theme park site Mickey Visit. In the three months ending in June, Disney reported $5.3 billion in income, more than double Wall Street's forecast of $2.3 billion. Much of that came from its U.S. parks, where operating income jumped 22 percent to $1.7 billion. Disney World was the standout performer bringing in record revenue with guest spending up, chief financial officer Hugh Johnston told investors on Wednesday's earnings call. 'Consumers generally these days are willing to pay for value,' Johnston told the Financial Times. 'Our consumer still sees, especially with the investments we've been making with parks and cruise ships, a tremendous amount of value.' Prices will rise again next year too with admission costing roughly $10 more for tickets advertised on Disney's site. The maximum price for a one-day ticket to Disney's Animal Kingdom rose from $169 in 2025 to $179 in 2026. Disney's Hollywood Studios currently costs up to $184 but will rise to $199 next year - the highest increase of any ticket so far. The highest prices could still be yet to come, Disney expert Gavin Doyle, of Mickey Visit, explained. This is because Disney has not released the ticket prices for November or December 2026 yet. These are usually the busiest months of the year and have the highest priced tickets. Doyle expects one-day Magic Kingdom tickets for November and December to hit as high as $205 for 2026. 'These higher prices reflect expected demand for the most crowded days at Disney World throughout the year which is typically aligned with school breaks and holidays,' Doyle said of the price increases. Elsewhere the picture looked less rosy for the company with declines in its traditional cable TV networks which fell 15 percent compared to the same time last year. Prices for one-day tickets to Disney World will increase by roughly $10 next year The decline was offset by boost to its streaming services such as Disney+ which added 1.8 million new subscribers in the quarter. Disney hiked the prices for its plan by 25 percent in October, just a year after the last hike. Disney is also preparing to launch its sports network ESPN in a streaming package later this month. The company announced on Tuesday that it would also be selling a ten percent stake in the network to the National Football League (NFL).

John Oliver's savage two-word response to Jay Leno's criticism of late-night hosts being too political

Last Week Tonight host John Oliver had two words for former Tonight Show host Jay Leno criticizing his Strike Force Five buddies (Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Kimmel) for getting too political in their nightly monologues - 'hard pass.' The 75-year-old comedian had lamented to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation CEO David Trulio on July 22 that the current late-night hosts are too busy pushing their Democratic agenda to entertain a wider audience. 'I don't think anybody wants to hear a shoot for just half an audience? Why not try to get the whole? I like to bring people into the big picture,' Jay explained. 'I don't understand why you would alienate one particular group, you know, or just don't do it at all. I'm not saying you have to throw your support or whatever, but just do what's funny.' In response, the British 48-year-old scoffed to THR Magazine on Tuesday: 'I'm going to take a hard pass on taking comedic advice from Jay Leno.' 'Who thinks that way? Executives?' John continued. 'Comedy can't be for everyone. It's inherently subjective. So, yeah, when you do stand-up, some people try to play to a broader audience, which is completely legitimate. Others decide not to, which is equally legitimate.' Many comics still don't forgive Leno for refusing to retire from late-night after reluctantly handing over The Tonight Show to successor Conan O'Brien in 2009, which lasted seven months before NBC gave the gig right back to Leno. Oliver - who became an American citizen in 2019 - went on to defend his HBO Max satirical news show, which 'comes from a point of view, but most of those long stories we do are not party political.' 'They're about systemic issues. Our last few shows were about gang databases, AI slop, juvenile justice, med spas, air traffic control,' the investigative journalist listed. 'I'm not saying that these don't have a point of view in them. Of course they do. But I hope a lot of them actually reach across people's political persuasions. You want people to at least be able to agree on the problem, even if you disagree on what the solution to it is.' On July 21, John joined his former Daily Show boss Jon Stewart, Fallon, Meyers, Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen, and CNN's Anderson Cooper on The Late Show in order to show support for Colbert amid his shocking cancellation. 'As soon as the news broke, we were all checking in with Stephen,' Oliver recalled. Jay explained: 'I don't think anybody wants to hear a shoot for just half an audience? Why not try to get the whole? I like to bring people into the big picture' He continued: 'I don't understand why you would alienate one particular group, you know, or just don't do it at all. I'm not saying you have to throw your support or whatever, but just do what's funny' (Strike Force Five's Jimmy Fallon, John Oliver, Seth Meyers, Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Kimmel pictured in 2023) Oliver recalled: 'As soon as the news broke, we were all checking in with Stephen. He came up with the idea and asked us to come, and of course we're all going to do it. You want to be able to support him and his staff in a horrible, horrible time' 'He came up with the idea and asked us to come, and of course we're all going to do it. You want to be able to support him and his staff in a horrible, horrible time.' The Kamala Harris supporter called it 'incredibly sad for comedy' but noted: 'We are fortunate enough to be in a very different situation than network commercial TV, so those corporate pressures are not comparable, and we have no pressures from advertisers.'

Already trouble in paradise? One Married At First Sight couple steps out SOLO - as tensions rise during first week of living together

Filming for Married At First Sight season 13 is underway—and it's already clear which couples are thriving and which ones are having second thoughts about matrimony. Production for the popular reality series kicked off two weeks ago, with next year's much-anticipated TV husbands and wives tying the knot in locations across Sydney. Now, Daily Mail can reveal the cast of next year's series have all been married, gone on their honeymoons, and already moved in together. On Wednesday, the loved-up hopefuls were spotted checking into One Global Resorts Green Square in Sydney. Among them, however, there seems to be one couple already facing trouble in paradise. Despite living together for just one week, it looks like Melissa Akbay and Melbourne farmer Luke Fourniotis are not off to a great start, after the Canberra bride was spotted spending time alone while her groom ran errands solo. She kept it casual in a pair of jeans and a white tee, taking a moment to sit on a bench as she frowned at her phone, clearly deep in thought Melissa looked downcast as she took to the streets of Sydney, listening to music on a pair of headphones and chomping on a KitKat bar. She kept it casual in a pair of jeans and a white tee, taking a moment to sit on a bench as she frowned at her phone, clearly deep in thought. Meanwhile, her TV husband seemed to be in a better head-space while wearing a gym ensemble, a giant smile on his face and a flower pushed behind his ear. He could be seen stretching before going on a jog around the city. While Melissa and Luke may have had a rocky start, the same can't be said for Rebecca Zukowski and Steve Powell, who were all smiles as they popped out for some groceries. The Melbourne leasing manager wore a chic brown coat over a pair of jeans, while her partner was wrapped up in a knitted sweater and scarf. They looked like the perfect pair, effortlessly matching each other's style while carrying home their groceries for the week. Influencer nurse Alissa Fay and David Momoh also looked chipper as they were pictured holding hands and walking around the city. They both rugged-up in tracksuits for the outing, with Alissa wearing a grey matching set and her husband David opting for an all-black ensemble. As for lovebirds Gia Fleur and her husband Scott McCristal, the couple were all over each other as they were seen picking up groceries from Woolworths. Gia, who has already been dubbed 'the wildest bride in MAFS history' by crew members, showed off her curvy figure in a skin-tight, bright pink top and shorts combo, with a large pair of sunnies, some sneakers and a white Gucci bag. Her hubby wore a North Face puffer and shorts, and was pictured putting a reassuring arm around his wife as they entered the supermarket. Leaving Woolies, Scott pushed a trolley full of goods while Gia carried a box of Moscato wine—a woman after our own hearts. Danny Hewitt and Rebecca Zacharia also looked strong, with the Adelaide socialite looking straight out of a fashion magazine as she wore a pair of leopard print pumps and a white cardigan. She carried an stylish bouquet of roses while her bearded beau carried the groceries, rocking a grey knitted sweater over a pair of jeans. Motivational speaker Filip Gregov and his wife Stella were also seen looking loved up, holding hands as they stepped out for a casual stroll in their gym clothes. Filip was all smiles as he held hands with his TV bride, who cut a slender figure in a Calvin Klein top, black leggings and bomber jacket. The duo are tipped to be big characters this season thanks to their fiery personalities and on-screen banter. While the show's signature drama is usually saved for the dinner parties and commitment ceremonies, this year's brides and grooms are wasting no time. An insider teased filming has already produced 'some of the strongest matches we've seen in years'—along with a few early red flags. 'There are couples with instant chemistry, and others who are clearly mismatched from the start. The tension is building—and we're only in the early stages.' Producers are said to be particularly proud of this year's mix of personalities—which includes creatives, professionals, tradies, and even a few wildcard entries that are sure to get viewers talking. 'It's a really bold cast. There's a lot of diversity in age, culture, and life experience,' one source said.
