Mika Singh Has This To Say About His Bond With Salman Khan
Last Updated:
In a recent conversation, Mika Singh spoke about Salman Khan's much affectionate attitude with the singer after having a few drinks.
Salman Khan is incredibly famous for his strong personality and bonds with eminent A-listers. Be it his close friendship with the Khans of Bollywood, including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and others to his presence at his loved ones' special moments, Salman has never missed dishing out pure goals to his fans. Now, ace singer, Mika Singh spilled beans about Khan's extra affectionate attitude with him after getting drunk.
In a recent interview, Mika Singh was asked about his longtime bond with Bollywood's Bhaijaan, Salman Khan. To this, the 'Mauja Hi Mauja" singer revealed that they used to reunite whenever they get time from their busy work schedules. 'Mujhe jab bhi mauka milta hain Salman Khan bhai se milne ka, toh woh bohot open ho jaate hain. Do drink ke baad woh aisa karte hain jaisa main unka bada bhai hoon. Ya shayad main Salman Khan sir ke level ka hoon. Woh aisa realise karate hain (Whenever I get the chance to meet him, he becomes very open. After two drinks, he treats me like I am his elder brother or that both of us are equals. He makes it so comfortable)," Mika told Shubhankar Mishra on his podcast Unplugged Shubhankar.
Singh further added that Khan gets more affectionate with his inner circle after a few drinks. However, one has to remember their self-worth. He candidly added, 'Lekin aapko pata hona chahiye, chahe woh 2 peg ho ya 4 peg, ki woh Salman Khan hain! Toh agar apko ye pata rahega toh aap kabhi maar nahi khaoge (But one should remember that he is Salman Khan. If one knows this, then they are saved)."
In the same conversation, Mika reflected on the early days of their friendship, and talked about their first meeting during Khan's 1999 movie Jaanam Samjha Karo, co-starring with Urmila Matondkar. 'Mujhe itni akal nahi thi ki main jaake unke paao paru aur bolu ki, 'Sir, mujhe aap ke saath ek gaana karna hain.' Woh bade pyaar se shoot dekhte rahe aur thode time baad unhone humare saath chai bhi peeyi. Itni akal nahi thi ki contacts le lein (I was so foolish back then, to not have approached him and asked for his contact. I should have told him that I wanted to sing a song for him. He saw the shoot and had tea with us later)," the singer continued. Despite not taking his contact, they formed a beautiful friendship while working together on several projects.
Singh collaborated with Bhaijaan on multiple songs from the latter's movies, including Jumme Ki Raat for Kick, Aaj Ki Party for Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Party Chale On for Race 3, Dhinka Chika for Ready, Desi Beat for Bodyguard and 440 Volt for Sultan.
