Emmerdale exit story ‘confirmed' for Joe Tate in ITVX release as demand is made
Doctor Eddie Crowley (James Hillier) has issued another demand to Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) in Emmerdale, after his plan to get Kim Tate's (Claire King) money went out the window.
A couple of days ago, Crowley told Joe that he needs his help to get all of Kim's money, believing he's owed this after Joe forced him to perform the illegal kidney transplant operation.
It's worth noting that Crowley already has £100k in his bank, after holding Joe hostage and forcing him to transfer it. According to the dodgy surgeon though, that isn't enough.
Feeling as though he doesn't have any choice, Joe came up with an idea to trick Kim into giving Crowley her money. He pitched her an investment opportunity for solar power and for a moment, it looked as though it was going to be enough.
Unfortunately, in this evening's episode, Kim had another look at the business plan and concluded it seemed dull and not up her street.
Joe was then instructed to meet up with Crowley and sidekick Shaun, who had another option for Kim.
Shaun handed Joe a bag, and inside? Drugs. More Trending
Crowley told Joe to drug Kim and force her to transfer the cash that way. Joe was horrified and reckoned that Kim wouldn't hesitate to have him killed in the aftermath.

Without a care in the world, Crowley told Joe that might be the case – but he could also leave the country before the drugs leave Kim's system.
Can Joe come up with another plan to prevent this from happening?

Hollyoaks 'confirms' more deaths in Summer Trailer as killer Jez is caught out
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video The moment Hollyoaks fans have longed for is almost upon us, as confirmed in the show's brand new Summer Trailer, with the truth about Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield) finally set to be revealed. Jez, as viewers know, has been claiming lives in abundance, having started killing from a young age, with mum Martha (Sherrie Hewson) covering up his crimes. Since arriving in the village last year (two years in-universe following the time jump), he has murdered Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith), Abe Fielding (Tyler Conti) and social worker Ian Stone. He's also claimed the life of Dennis Savage (Joe Tracini) and started an affair with Liberty (Jessamy Stoddart), all the while preparing to tie the knot with John Paul McQueen (James Sutton). Fans have waited eagerly to see the killer get his comeuppance and while we've yet to find out if he does, in fact, pay for his crimes, the brand new Summer Trailer confirms that Sienna (Anna Passey) finally sees him for who he truly is, which leaves her in serious danger. Buckle up fans, you're in for one dramatic summer! With so much to digest in the preview as Hollyoaks brings back its six weeks of summer theme, Metro thought it fitting to take a deeper dive into the new trailer to look closely at what's to come. With Jez imminently set to tie the knot on-screen, Hollyoaks has teased the outcome of the wedding, with John Paul left in tears in upcoming scenes as Jez talks about embracing his true killer nature. Meanwhile, Sienna -who is aware of some of his crimes after she helped him cover up Dilly's death earlier this year – comes to discover that Jez has been harbouring many murderous secrets as she breaks down at the allotment before demanding the truth. The much-loved character is left in danger as she speeds across the city walls, presumably from her murderous father, but will she manage to get to safety and expose Jez for who he truly is? The trailer also appears to imply that Jez commits another murder as he's seen seemingly strangling someone at the shed. But who is it? And hostage Robbie is also freed, with the short preview teasing him in the village – but will he manage to evade Jez's evil grip and perhaps assist Sienna in exposing the dastardly patriarch's murderous ways? There will be heartbreak this Summer for HayRay fans, with Dillon set to confess his feelings for boyfriend Lucas' dad Ste in a very unexpected turn of events. The scales fall from Ste's eyes in the wake of Dillon's admission, but is this the beginning of a love triangle? Or is Lucas still the one for Dillon? Either way, Lucas won't be too happy when he learns what's happened given all that he and Dillon have been through – with the couple deciding to give things another go just a matter of weeks ago. After giving it some thought, Rex decides to blow the whistle on human trafficking sisters Clare and Grace, landing the pair of them behind bars. But it seems they might have some help from estranged grandfather Froggy – whether they want it or not! – as she makes quite a debut, claiming that he wants to reconnect with the siblings. Clare, however, makes it quite clear that she wants nothing less, urging the baddie to stay away from her and Grace. More Trending The question is: Just how bad is Froggy if even the almighty villain that is Clare Devine wants nothing to do with him? With The Dog finally set to reopen its doors and a romance on the cards for he and Diane, Tony is on cloud nine. But Bobby's escape from prison threatens to destroy everything as he struggles with the fact the teen killed Verity. Mercedes, meanwhile, harbours Bobby at the McQueen residence and Tony finds himself heading down a dark and dangerous path – one that Diane is determined to save her one true love from. EastEnders legend makes a shock return just days after quitting Walford – and he's not alone
AN EASTENDERS legend made a shock return to the soap today - just days after quitting Walford. Nigel Bates - who is played by actor Paul Bradley in the BBC soap - said an emotional farewell to Albert Square last week after being reunited with estranged wife Julie. 2 2 Viewers know Nigel is suffering from dementia and left Julie rather than let her see his decline. He returned to Walford at Christmas and has been cared for by old pal Phil Mitchell in the months since. Last week Jay Brown discovered Julie had been desperately searching for Nigel and had reported him missing. He got in contact and summoned her to Walford where she discovered the truth about Nigel's condition. Determined to care for him as his wife, Julie convinced Nigel to return to Scotland to their life and promised to look after him. However just days into their reunion, Nigel went missing again - not able to remember who Julie was nor why he was with her. In tonight's double bill of the soap, Julie made a shock return to Walford searching for Nigel once more. He'd done a runner in the train station as they travelled back up to Edinburgh. Julie ran to Walford and found Phil to see if Nigel had returned there. And it wasn't long until he did with Callum finding him at the tube station. Nigel later told Phil that he wanted to stay, and in a heartbreaking moment couldn't remember who Julie was - leading Phil to make a shock offer. He asked Julie to stay too - and invited her to move in so they could both stay with Nigel and help him. Is it ageing or dementia? Dementia - the most common form of which is Alzheimer's - comes on slowly over time. As the disease progresses, symptoms can become more severe. But at the beginning, the symptoms can be subtle or mistaken for normal memory issues related to ageing. The US National Institute on Aging gives some examples of what is considered normal forgetfulness in old age, and dementia disease. You can refer to these above. For example, it is normal for an ageing person to forget which word to use from time-to-time, but difficulties having conversation would be more indicative of dementia. Katie Puckering, Head of Alzheimer's Research UK's Information Services team, previously told The Sun: 'We quite commonly as humans put our car keys somewhere out of the ordinary and it takes longer for us to find them. 'As you get older, it takes longer for you to recall, or you really have to think; What was I doing? Where was I? What distracted me? Was it that I had to let the dog out? And then you find the keys by the back door. 'That process of retrieving the information is just a bit slower in people as they age. 'In dementia, someone may not be able to recall that information and what they did when they came into the house. 'What may also happen is they might put it somewhere it really doesn't belong. For example, rather than putting the milk back in the fridge, they put the kettle in the fridge.'

Coronation Street icon opens up on ‘imposter syndrome' after 34 years on TV
Coronation Street's Claire Sweeney has opened up about living with Imposter Syndrome, and how it impacts her in the acting industry. Claire currently plays Cassie Plummer in the ITV soap, but became a household name when she joined the cast of Brookside. In 1991, Claire's first scenes as Lindsey Corkhill aired. She then played the role until the show's end in 2003. It was landing this role that saw Claire first develop feelings of Imposter Syndrome, which often sees someone experience self-doubt over a long period of time. 'I kept quiet, watched and learned. I have terrible Imposter Syndrome. I still do now in Corrie, I still get it sometimes', the star said recently. In her chat with The Speakmans on their podcast, Claire added: 'Oh god all the time, all the time. Like what you said before, your instinct is like, 'Oh I've been very lucky', well actually I worked hard and I've earned the miles, do you know what I mean, I've earned my stripes, but I do still get it. 'I spent six years being shocked every time my contract got renewed, six years, even now, I never expect a contract to get renewed. I'm like why should we think [that]? Our business is not based on safety is it and security, it's transient.' Claire also said that she believes having no expectations with things like contracts keep her feeling humble. 'I still love learning, I still go for singing lessons, I'm always watching, like you know, working with Bill Roche, watching him work, I mean he's fantastic, Simon Gregson, I watch these people who have been in the show for years and I'm still learning.'
