ITV Emmerdale fans call for 'tedious' storyline to end
The pair has a previous history together as part of Joe's previous kidney transplant story.
Now, the doctor, played by James Hillier, has returned to seek revenge.

James Hillier's character last appeared on the ITV soap back in March.
Joe was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and hired the shady doctor to treat him and secure him a kidney transplant.
After Joe's paternal half-uncle, Caleb Miligan, was found to be a donor match, his kidney was taken after he was stabbed.
Following this, Dr Crowley transplanted it into Joe before fleeing the country, and that was the last heard from him... until now.
Having returned to the soap this week, Joe was knocked unconscious and woke up in a makeshift hospital room to find Crowley.
He revealed that he gave Joe an epidural and "numbed the lower spine, along with the upper, near the base of the skull", meaning Joe was left paralysed.
It was revealed that Shaun, who arrived with Joe's laptop, had been secretly working for Crowley.
Despite originally refusing, following the threat of torture, Joe reveals the passwords and Shaun transfers £105,000 to Crowley's account.
Following Dr Crowley's return on the ITV show, fans have been discussing the ongoing storyline, and some are not impressed.

A post was made on the r/Emmerdale Reddit page, saying: "Ok Emmerdale, it's time to wrap up this Joe Tate Dr storyline, it's getting very boring...."
Some fans on the thread agreed, with one saying: "Joe and the stories around him are so badly written and acted. So..... well, mind-numbingly tedious to sit through."
Another said: "Yeah and I agree with you."
Others have taken to social media to also criticise the story, with one fan saying: "I love Emmerdale I do but this is a bit extreme this storyline."

ITV's Unforgotten 'future in doubt' as creator 'steps down' amid series backlash
ITV drama Unforgotten could be 'facing the axe' after its next season as show writer Chris Lang speaks about his plans to 'quit' after responding to backlash last series ITV cold case series Unforgotten has been entertaining fans for over a decade - but it looks like the show is about to make a huge change. It comes two years after lead Nicola Walker who played DCI Cassie Stuart, was replaced by Sinéad Keenan, who plays DCI Jessica James. The change came after Nicola's character died after a car accident in the show in series four, with Keenan taking the lead from series five and beyond. The latest series, series 6, aired earlier this year, although some fans had criticised the show over the political theme as crime-solving duo DCI Jess James and DI Sunil Khan uncovered many hidden secrets. Viewers had complained that the "political commentary" felt too much on occasions in series six. One person stated on X: "I was a fan of each previous series. 2 episodes in and I'm finding the political commentary way too much, I think it detracts from the story and makes the whole thing less credible." Others went into describe the show as "too woke" with one writing: 'Sorry guys but you have ruined #Unforgotten as it's now complete woke nonsense!' Now, Chris has revealed he's planning to 'step down' as a writer after next year's new series. 'I'll probably hand on the baton after this series. The first episode drew in a huge 7.4million viewers. The feedback wasn't all bad however - with many fans taking to social media to defend their favourite drama.
