Justin Bieber has changed his Instagram handle — and fans are making their feelings known.
The pop star, 31, changed his username on Thursday, June 26, from his first and last name to @lilbieber. The two-time Grammy Award winner didn't explain his reasoning for the switch up, simply posting a snap of him playing with his son, Jack Blues, afterward.
Fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to weigh in on the new name.
'Only Bieber could make a username switch feel like a cultural reset,' one fan wrote.
A second fan commented, 'Name changed, confusion stayed the same.'
'Lol he's so unintentionally funny,' a third fan admitted.
Some users felt like the name change is a sign that the 'Baby' singer is trying to venture into a new genre of music.
'I hope he isn't trying to rebrand as a rapper… ' one commenter penned.

Justin's new username comes amid his ongoing posting spree on the social media platform as concerns about his well-being from fans continue to mount.
On June 16, Justin shared a candid post about his emotional struggles, writing, 'People keep telling me to heal. Don't you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already? 'I know I'm broken. I know I have anger issues. I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making me more tired and more angry.'
A few days prior, the 'Sorry' hitmaker went off on paparazzi outside Soho House in Malibu, telling them, 'It's not clocking to you that I'm standing on business, is it?' The encounter has since gone viral on social media.
As Star reported earlier this week, those close to Justin are very worried about him.
'Everyone in Justin's world is deeply concerned about his behavior. It's as unpredictable and worrisome as it's ever been,' the insider shared. 'It seems inevitable he'll need to seek help and do so fast. The path he's currently on is toxic and totally untenable.'
Additionally, another source told Star earlier this month that Justin's wife, Hailey Bieber, 'needs Justin to be her partner, not another responsibility.'
Back in February, Justin's rep quashed reports that he was using hard drugs, telling TMZ that the rumors about him are 'exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.'

‘Kisses yes, Bezos No,' protesters say, as Bezos wedding bonanza stirs controversy in Venice
VENICE, Italy — Hundreds of protesters marched through Venice's central streets on Saturday to say 'No' to billionaire Jeff Bezos, his bride and their much-awaited wedding extravaganza, which reached its third and final day amid celebrity-crowded parties and the outcries of tired residents. On Friday, the world's fourth-richest man and his bride Lauren Sanchez Bezos tied the knot during a private ceremony with around 200 celebrity guests on the secluded island of San Giorgio. The wedding, however, angered many Venetians, with some activists protesting it as an exploitation of the city by the billionaire Bezos, while ordinary residents suffer from overtourism, high housing costs and the constant threat of climate-induced flooding. As the two newlyweds prepared for the final party Saturday evening, hundreds of Venetians and protesters from across Italy filled Venice's tiny streets with colorful banners reading 'Kisses Yes, Bezos No' and 'No Bezos, no War.' The demonstration contrasted with the expensive wedding bonanza, seen by critics as an affront to the lagoon city's fragile environment and its citizens, overwhelmed by throngs of tourists. Lorde's new album, " Virgin," is out today and the singer is opening up about the heartfelt meaning behind the project. The "What Was That" singer shared an Instagram post on Friday and said she feels "simply crazy," explaining how the new album came to life. "For a long time an album is just a handful of word docs and Logic sessions, a couple whiteboards, a raw image from a medical scanner in an undisclosed country lol," she began. "I tried to love Virgin right the way through these stages at the same time as I was learning to love myself in my many stages of change, growth, brokenness and wholeness." She continued, "I'm still in shock and awe that so many of my heroes worked on Virgin — it has changed me collaborating with people this good." She ended her post by saying, "This album broke me apart and forged a new creature out of me. I am so proud to stand before you today as her, grateful for this beautiful life spent singing to myself and to you, for as long as you'll have me." The new album includes the singles: "What Was That," "Hammer" and "Man of the Year." Lorde co-produced the album with Jim-E Stack. This September, Lorde will embark on the Ultrasound World Tour in support of her new album. According to a press release, the tour has already sold out multiple nights at Madison Square Garden, London's O2 Arena and Kia Forum. Her tour will kick off in Austin and make stops in Boston, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Las Vegas as well as stops across Europe, before wrapping up in Brooklyn, New York, on December 17.
