Longlegs star Maika Monroe has been tapped to star in the film, and she will star alongside Tyriq Withers. Vanessa Caswill, who directed Netflix's adaptation of Jennifer E. Smith's Love At First Sight, is attached to direct Reminders of Him.
Outer Banks alum Rudy Pankow, who starred as JJ in 4 seasons of the Netflix series, has also boarded the film adaptation, as has Gilmore Girls alumna, Lauren Graham, who will star as Grace Landry, the mother of Kenna's (Monroe) boyfriend Scotty.

Local bar owner Ledger Ward is one person who doesn't immediately ice her out, and who provides a connection to her daughter. The two form a bond, which turns into a risky romance as it grows.

Hoover recently posted on her Instagram that the film has wrapped production.

Crawford, who has become incapacitated due to a mysterious car accident, is in a coma-like state while her husband Jeremy seeks out someone to see her work through. But as Lowen goes back through Verity's drafts, outlines and other book prep, she discovers a very sinister draft that suggests Verity's accident could be masking other tragedies.

Blake Lively makes shock move in Justin Baldoni legal battle

The twists and turns continue. Blake Lively, 37, is trying to abandon her infliction of emotional distress claims against Justin Baldoni, according to new legal documents obtained by The Post. Lively, who previously accused Baldoni, 41, of both intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress in a December 2024 lawsuit, attempted to withdraw the allegations on Monday after Baldoni's legal team sought to obtain her medical records. 7 Blake Lively is trying to abandon her infliction of emotional distress claims against Justin Baldoni GC Images 7 Lively tried to abandon her emotional distress claims against Baldoni after his legal team sought her medical records. Erik Pendzich/Shutterstock 'Instead of complying with the Medical RFPs, Ms. Lively's counsel recently advised us, in writing, that Ms. Lively is withdrawing her IED Claims,' Baldoni's team responded in a filing viewed by The Post. 'However, Ms. Lively has refused the Wayfarer Parties' reasonable request that the withdrawal of such claims be with prejudice.' 'She is only willing to withdraw her claims without prejudice,' it continued. 'In other words, Ms. Lively wants to simultaneously: (a) refuse to disclose the information and documents needed to disprove that she suffered any emotional distress and/or that the Wayfarer Parties were the cause; and (b) maintain the right to re-file her IED Claims at an unknown time in this or some other court after the discovery window has closed.' The filing, which was addressed to Judge Lewis Liman of the Southern District of New York and signed by Baldoni attorney Kevin Fritz, argued that Lively 'cannot have it both ways.' 7 Lively filed a second lawsuit against Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios and others in December 2024. GC Images 'If Ms. Lively wants to withdraw her frivolous IED Claims, the Wayfarer Parties are entitled to a dismissal with prejudice to ensure they will not be re-filed,' the filing read. 'If Ms. Lively is unwilling to stipulate to the dismissal of her IED Claims with prejudice, then the Wayfarer Parties will continue to defend against them,' it added, 'and she must produce her medical information and documents as set forth herein.' In December 2024, the former 'Gossip Girl' star accused Baldoni of sexually harassing her on the set of 'It Ends With Us' and then launched a 'coordinated effort to destroy her reputation.' 7 Baldoni has denied all of Lively's allegations. Adela Loconte/Shutterstock Lively's infliction of emotional distress claims against Baldoni were two of the allegations she waged against her 'It Ends With Us' co-star and director when she filed her lawsuit against him, Wayfarer Studios and others later that month. She alleged that he caused her to suffer 'severe emotional distress and pain, humiliation, embarrassment, belittlement, frustration and mental anguish' in addition to lost wages. But Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios' attorneys have argued that Lively 'waived any doctor-patient privilege' when she claimed to have suffered 'physical and emotional injuries' at the hands of Baldoni and the studio. 7 Baldoni countersued Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for $400 million in January. REUTERS 'By alleging that she suffered physical and emotional injuries, Ms. Lively has placed her physical and mental condition at issue and, in turn, must produce relevant information and documents,' Fritz wrote. 'In other words,' he added, 'Ms. Lively has waived any doctor-patient privilege.' Judge Liman and the Southern District of New York must now decide whether Lively's infliction of emotional distress claims will be dismissed with or without prejudice or if the actress must turn over the mental health information sought by the opposing counsel. 7 Lively and Baldoni in a scene from 'It Ends With Us.' ©Sony Pictures/Courtesy Everett Collection 'Once again, this is a routine part of the litigation process that is being used as a press stunt,' Lively's lawyers told TMZ on Monday. 'We are doing what trial lawyers do: preparing our case for trial by streamlining and focusing it; they are doing what they do: desperately seeking another tired round of tabloid coverage.' 'The Baldoni-Wayfarer strategy of filing retaliatory claims has exposed them to expansive new damages claims under California law, rendering certain of Ms. Lively's original claims no longer necessary,' they continued. 'Ms. Lively continues to allege emotional distress, as part of numerous other claims in her lawsuit, such as sexual harassment and retaliation, and massive additional compensatory damages on all of her claims,' the actress' attorneys concluded. 7 Lively and Baldoni shooting a scene for 'It Ends With Us' in January 2024. GC Images Baldoni has denied all of Lively's allegations against him. He also countersued Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, 48, for $400 million in January for alleged defamation and extortion – accusations they have also denied. A trial date is scheduled for March 2026.

‘Squid Game 2' Cast on Connecting With Fans and Relating to Their Characters: ‘Thanos Isn't A Villain, But He Is A Man-Child'

'Squid Game' creator, director and writer Hwang Dong-hyuk joined production designer Chae Kyoung-sun, editor Nam Na-yeong and director of photography Kim Ji-yong and members of the 'Squid Game 2' cast (Lee Jung-jae, Kang Ae-shim, Park Sung-hoon, Lee Byung-hun and Choi Seung-hyun) for a panel and screening on Friday night that was part of Netflix's FYSEE LA series. When it came to choosing which seemingly-innocent schoolyard games would become death traps in the second installment of his dystopian black comedy, Hwang says he looked for challenges that would force players to vote en masse. More from Variety Pablo Larraín to Direct Netflix Domestic Horror Miniseries 'My Sad Dead,' From Fabula and 'The Eternaut's' K&S Films (EXCLUSIVE) 'Lincoln Lawyer' Season 4 Casts Cobie Smulders (EXCLUSIVE) 'Nobody Wants This' Season 2 Sets October Release Date on Netflix 'An important theme I wanted to explore in the second season was the notion of elections,' said Hwang. 'So many free democratic countries around the world are choosing their leaders, and therefore their futures, through the act of casting a vote.' 'Elections exist to provide the right direction for society to head in, but as we all see, it's actually leading people to even further division and hostility – almost the opposite way of what it was originally intended to do. I really wanted to poke at the theme of majority rule in elections within the liberal democratic world, and pose the question: can [democracy] truly bring us down the right path? Is it capable of allowing us to choose the right leaders?' For Park Sung-hoon, who plays Cho Hyun-ju (a special forces agent ostracized by her peers when she came out as a transgender woman) joining the cast of 'Squid Game 2' allowed him to form a deeper bond with an understanding of the LGBTQ+. community. '[The fans] have given me so much support and love despite me being a cisgender actor playing a transgender character,' said Sung-hoon. 'I think the world is becoming a better place for the LGBTQ+ community, but prejudices and biases still exist, and Geum-ja is a character who represents that kind of attitude towards the community.' 'But later on in the show, Geum-ja warms up to her, she embraces her as one of her friends and family. I hope the viewers feel the same way about Hyun-ju, warming up to her as family. In season three, we go through a lot together, so we develop an even stronger bond.' Sung-hoon wasn't the only newcomer impacted by the show's writing – Choi Seung-hyun, (a rapper and former member of the K-pop group BIGBANG) says understanding the psychology of his character Thanos helped him reflect on his own past. 'Thanos and I have some common ground, as a rapper who went out second in a competition show and had drug issues,' Seung-hyun explained. 'While you might think of me as a successful rapper, I also had my failures, so I had to come face-to-face with my past mistakes when I was looking at Thanos. It took a lot of courage for me to take on this role, but Director Hwang put so much trust in me. 'I don't think Thanos is a villain, but he is a man-child,' Seung-hyun continued. 'Playing this character, it was an opportunity for me to self-reflect on my past and think about what I've done wrong. Through 'Squid Game,' and Thanos, I feel like I'm ready to move on to a new chapter of my life. I learned so much from him.' The day after the FYC event, the 'Squid Game' stars walked the red carpet, where Lee Jung-jae told Variety he still wants to see Leonardo DiCaprio on the show.
