'Maalik' box office collections day 10: Rajkummar Rao starrer slowly inches closer to Rs. 25 crore mark, while Ahaan Panday's ‘Saiyaara' enjoys the reign
starrer' Maalik,' which was released on June 11, 2025, has been witnessing a slow run at the box office. Although the movie opened with decent numbers, business started to drop as it inched closer to the second weekend.
According to Sacnilk, since last Friday, from the start of the second week, the movie hasn't been able to score a crore on any day; however, it did see slight growth over the weekend.
'Maalik' box office update day 10
The second week started with a mere Rs. 65 lac earnings, which rose to Rs. 75 lac on Saturday. On Sunday, the movie saw a further rise and made Rs. 85 crore. With this, the net India collection of 'Maalik' after 10 days stands at Rs. 23.45 crore.
On the other hand, the debutant-led film 'Saiyaara' is enjoying the reigns at the box office.
Starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the movie collected Rs 83 crore within 3 days.

Unauthorized cuts and backlash from the audience for 'Sholay' Sippy also revealed a little-known fact about the film's initial run. The director spoke about a tough decision to cut 20 minutes from the film to shorten its runtime, which was a common request at the time. Sippy revealed that comedy tracks featuring Asrani and Jagdeep were removed, a move that did not sit well with the audience. People who had seen the original cuts began demanding the scenes back.
