Mel B shares beautiful unseen wedding snaps after tying the knot in St Paul's

Newlywed Mel B has shared a touching behind-the-scenes photo from her wedding to Rory McPhee at St Paul's Cathedral
Mel B has offered fans a glimpse into her wedding celebrations with Rory McPhee, sharing a candid photo from their elegant reception just one day after saying 'I do' at St Paul's Cathedral.
The Spice Girls icon, 50, took to Instagram to post a behind-the-scenes image from the big day. Captured from behind in her gown, Mel stood with her back to the camera, revealing the words 'Just Married' delicately embroidered on her dress. Her bridal look featured a graceful long veil and pearl embellishments at the collar and cuffs, giving the ensemble a timeless and regal finish.

Her husband Rory, 37, opted for a nod to his heritage, wearing a traditional Scottish kilt. The pair shared a romantic kiss on the steps of the cathedral before leaving the venue in a white, horse-drawn carriage - a fairy-tale moment for the newlyweds. Guests followed in true British style, riding to the reception in classic red double-decker Routemaster buses.

As the carriage pulled away, the couple were spotted sharing another affectionate moment, smiling and embracing as they began married life.
While fans were eager to spot fellow Spice Girls in attendance, only Emma Bunton, 49, was photographed at the event. Baby Spice arrived looking elegant in a soft pink dress paired with a coordinating hat and shimmering silver heels. She was joined by husband Jade Jones and their son Beau, 17.
Victoria Beckham, who was notably absent, took a moment to acknowledge Mel's special day via Instagram. Posting a glamorous throwback of the two bandmates, Victoria captioned it with: 'Sending love to you @officialmelb! @rorymcphee is a very lucky man! xx.'
Mel C, who was also unable to attend, shared her congratulations online. Posting a happy photo of the bride and groom, she wrote: 'So so happy for you both and beyond gutted I couldn't be there. Excited to celebrate with you really soon. Yipee!'

While not all her bandmates were able to be there in person, Mel was clearly surrounded by love and celebration - both at the wedding and across social media. Fans flooded her post with messages of congratulations, and the bride appeared radiant and content as she began this new chapter of her life.
Mel and Rory said their 'I dos' at St Paul's Cathedral after their three-year engagement. Mel and family friend Rory have known each other for years, and he has worked as her hairstylist.

Things are thought to have turned romantic between the pair in 2018 and Rory proposed to Mel back in 2022. It isn't be the pop star's first time walking down the aisle as she has been married twice before.
The celebration marked a joyful high point for the pop legend, who has often spoken candidly about love, heartbreak, and her healing journey before finding love again with hairstylist Rory.

Alan Sheehan says Swansea plan to build on buzz of Snoop Dogg becoming co-owner

The 53-year-old American rapper joined a growing list of celebrity investors in British football last month by becoming part of a Swansea ownership group that already included Croatia midfield great Luka Modric. Multi award-winning Snoop said Swansea's 'underdog' story 'really struck a chord with me' and his vast following on social media – 89 million on Instagram and 20.5 million on X – quickly learned about the Welsh club and his love for Joe's ice cream in the city. Swansea City is delighted to announce global rap superstar and multi-platinum selling artist @SnoopDogg has become the club's latest high-profile co-owner and investor. 👉 — Swansea City AFC (@SwansOfficial) July 17, 2025 'To have Snoop and Luka on board is a massive benefit,' Swansea boss Sheehan said ahead of Saturday's league opener at Middlesbrough. 'There is a buzz, obviously. As a football club you have to become more appealing commercially, to be more competitive, and appeal to the wider nation. 'It's different to how it was maybe when I was a player, but I understand why, and I totally welcome it. 'Rome wasn't built in a day, but there are big plans for the football club. 'It's about building strong foundations and building that character and resilience within the football club.' Comparisons with Wrexham, who are owned by Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, are unavoidable and already being made. The two Welsh clubs are Championship rivals this season after Wrexham became the first team in the top five tiers of English football to win three successive promotions. A docu-series tracking life at Swansea, on similar lines to the award-winning FX show 'Welcome to Wrexham', is understood to be already in the pipeline. Asked if Swansea – who were relegated in 2018 after seven seasons in the Premier League – were the 'new' Wrexham, Sheehan said: 'No, we're Swansea. We're not new anything. 'Now they're in our division, I suppose, it becomes more there now (rivalry), but we don't play them until December. So I won't really be speaking about them until December.' Modric – who joined the board in April following a takeover led by American businessmen Brett Cravatt and Jason Cohen six months earlier – was unveiled as an AC Milan player on Monday after his trophy-littered 13-year spell at Real Madrid ended this summer. The 39-year-old has played his part in Sheehan's summer recruitment strategy, actively persuading players to join the Welsh club. 'Obviously, his transfer situation… he was unavailable to come here,' smiled Sheehan. 'We've had a few text messages and he's involved. 'Luka has spoke to some players, passed on his knowledge, what he knows about the football club, and the plans that we have for it. 'Snoop and Luka are very invested in the club. They care, they speak through the ownership and the ownership are very good to us.' So will Grammy-nominated Snoop soon be swapping California for Swansea to watch a game? 'I believe so,' said Sheehan. 'But I'm not sure which game yet. It would be very naive and narrow-minded to think two very successful people in what they do could not help us. 'Successful people have a lot in common – a work ethic, a grit, a determination to get where they want to get to. So with Snoop, Luka and the ownership there is a lot of positivity around the football club.'

Best time to go to toilet during Oasis Murrayfield shows to avoid missing anything

Oasis take to the Murrayfield stage for three nights from Friday and one expert has worked out the key timings to avoid missing a favourite track. Edinburgh is preparing for the arrival of Britpop legends Oasis this weekend, as well as up to 200,000 fans who are heading for Murrayfield Stadium over the next few days. ‌ The Gallagher brothers play three dates at Murrayfield from tomorrow - Friday, Saturday and Tuesday - and already fans are gathering from across the globe to snap up merchandise. ‌ For the 67,000 fans heading to the Scottish capital ready to feel Supersonic each night, comfort breaks might not be top of mind, but with just one toilet for every 35 people, according to Victorian Plumbing's research, it probably should be. ‌ That's why researchers have analysed Oasis' tour setlist to help you plan the best times to head for a loo break without missing the key 'mad fer it' moments. Based on the average person needing to urinate 6-7 times per day, Victorian Plumbing has estimated that the average person needs to urinate every two hours and eight minutes. So far, Oasis' set list includes a total of 23 songs, with a performance typically lasting two hours and 15 minutes, meaning that you very well may need the loo during the setlist, depending on your timings. Another factor to consider when knowing how frequently you will need to go to the toilet is how much liquid you consume. ‌ Staying hydrated is really important, but too much liquid - especially alcohol - will have you missing songs for toilet runs. Pace yourself is the advice from the researchers - sip steadily and plan ahead so you're not stuck in a queue. When is the best time to go to the toilet during the Oasis gig? The experts have revealed the longest, and least streamed, songs that Oasis are expected to perform, which could be the perfect chance for an opportune loo break. ‌ Alex Woods, Bathroom Expert at Victorian Plumbing, has the advice people need to ensure they don't miss any of the action if they are caught short. He reckons 1997 hit D'You Know What I Mean? is Oasis's longest track, clocking in at over seven minutes, which makes it a "perfect moment" for a quick toilet break - especially during the extended guitar solo and instrumental sections. He added: "It gives listeners a natural pause without missing any key lyrics or vocals.' ‌ Alex says there's one other tune that could facilitate a good time to check out the Murrayfield facilities - Noel's acoustic ballad Talk Tonight, which is Oasis' least streamed song. He believes it's a safe option without missing a crowd favourite. He adds: "Plus, based on previous Oasis gigs, it is usually played in the middle of the gig, meaning it's prime time for a quick toilet break.' ‌ Alex also has a top tip when it comes to an efficient toilet break, as he went on: "In stadiums, toilets away from the stage and main entrances, like those behind stands or on upper levels, typically have shorter queues, so use facilities on your level to save time. "It is best to go early before doors open or during opening acts to ensure you don't end up missing your favourite song. "Queues are shortest before the show, longer during popular songs, and busiest at the end." The expert also advises to "scout" toilets early and combine breaks with when you're picking up your bucket hat merch as "planning ahead means less stress and no missed moments.'
