Vanessa Feltz takes subtle on air swipe at ex Ben Ofoedu after his wedding
Vanessa Feltz appeared to take a subtle swipe at her ex Ben Ofoedu following his marriage to another woman this week. The TV presenter, 63, and the Phats and Small singer, 53, were engaged and ready for marriage before calling time on their relationship.
Instead, the musician has now tied the knot with Vanessa Brown, leaving Vanessa to seemingly throw slight shade in his direction. The duo were together for 16 years before Ben pulled the plug on their pairing in 2023. Now, just weeks after proposing again, Ben is a married man.
And while appearing on her live Channel 5 chat show Vanessa couldn't resist a sharp comment. It comes after Ben seemingly made a dig of his own. Following his ceremony at a stunning Cumbria castle, he explained how his nuptials were 'a new beginning' and said: "I wasted 17 years of my life."
Following Ben's own dig, Vanessa struck back as she spoke with Carrie and David Grant, former Strictly star James Jordan and her daughter, Saskia Joss.
While the group discussed spouses, James said it "always worked" when he linked up with professional dancer wife Ola. Carrie and Saskia also gushed about their working dynamics, but it left Vanessa to joke: "And I'm sitting here single, single and all alone."
Despite quickly moving on during the live show, Vanessa hinted it may not have been the end of it between the guests. She teased there had been "censored" discussion between the group during an ad break.
While she didn't reveal what had been said, the guests were seen chuckling as the show came to a close.
Speaking MailOnline following his big day, Ben said: "I have always wanted to be married since I was seven years old. I always wanted to be with someone who would take my surname.
"I almost gave up on marriage, thinking there wasn't a lady that would walk down the aisle for me. I can't believe the day has come, it is a dream come true. It feels like I've been waiting for this moment all my life. This is the finale of the chapter that was 17 years of my life."
Vanessa previously tied the knot with surgeon Michael Kurer back in 1983. Their marriage ended in divorce in 2000 after they had welcomed daughters Allegra and Saskia. They also now have four grandchildren.
Vanessa and Ben had initially planned to walk down the aisle together in 2007. However, they remained engaged before they called it quits over 15 years later. Shortly after their separation, Vanessa opened up on This Morning about coping with the split.
She said at the time: "People have been amazing. Absolutely amazing, and of course it helps a lot. I can't sleep at all, so reading thousands and thousands of messages from lovely people on Instagram is something to do in the night."
She added: "When you have to end a relationship it's very hard. I've had what feels like millions of messages from so, so many people going through it.
"I wouldn't want to minimise in any way what it's like when you're heartbroken. It's horrible."

I'm A Celeb legend drops huge hint he's being lined up for Strictly – after turning down gig on under-fire Masterchef
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AN I'm A Celebrity legend has hinted that he is being lined up for a stint on the Strictly Come Dancing dancefloor after turning down another major show. Boxer Amir Khan, 38, caused a stir when he took up camp Down Under for I'm A Celebrity in 2017. Now, the boxing hunk has confessed that he has his eyes on more TV shows in the future but he's already had to turn some down due to his busy schedule. Confessing that he was considering learning how to dance for the BBC, Amir said: "I have been asked to do Strictly Come Dancing so maybe I would do that." But it is bad news for another BBC show as the boxing pro confirmed that he'd turned down under-fire Celebrity MasterChef after being unable to commit to the filming. The programme has been in the spotlight after both its hosts Gregg Wallace and John Torode were forced out of the programme following findings in an investigation - first sparked amid allegations of inappropriate behaviour from host Gregg during his time on the programme. Amir added: "I have been asked to do Celebrity MasterChef recently, but I couldn't do the filming this year. "There are a lot of shows but it's hard to get the time. At the same time, I like doing shows." Amir starred in his own reality series, Big in Bolton, on the BBC alongside his wife Faryal and has now revealed that he is a big fan of starring on such programmes for a key reason. He said: "People get to see the real side of me and who you are. Let's see what happens but I am always down for doing things but only the top shows. "I've done a lot of the top shows like I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here twice and in my opinion it's the biggest show out there, it is massive." People started fights in cafes but terrifying gunpoint robbery was last straw, I had to leave UK, says Amir Khan Amir married his wife Faryal in New York in 2013 before returning to Bolton for a traditional Islamic wedding in front of a reported 4000 guests. The couple share two daughters together. However, their marriage has been plagued by split rumours - including a brief period where they called it quits in 2017 as well as a sex tape scandal. Last year, Amir spent more than £130,000 on a new Mercedes G Wagon for his long-suffering wife after being caught out yet again with a sexting scandal. The couple were reportedly "on the rocks" following a sexting scandal which saw the former boxing champ meet a woman for hotel sex over a period of four months. He had demanded "no holds barred" sex from the woman last year before the fling escalated. His wife found out about the betrayal before calling the woman and threatening to out her. 6 Amir has become one of boxing's most popular stars ever Credit: Getty 6 The star has also turned to TV including two appearances on I'm A Celeb Credit: Rex Features 6 Amir proved a talking point during his times in the jungle Credit: Rex Features

Ozzy Osbourne's heartbreaking final remark to Jack after farewell performance
Jack Osbourne has revealed the final thing his dad Ozzy said to him following his farewell performance just days before the legendary rocker died aged 76 Ozzy Osbourne's son, Jack, has revealed the comment he made after his last ever performance, and it was filled with his iconic wit. The Black Sabbath icon, 76, joined his bandmates for one final time earlier this month in his hometown of Birmingham. He received an epic send-off surrounded by his beloved family and fellow rock icons, and he hung up his Prince of Darkness crown once and for all. Just over two weeks later, Ozzy sadly died with a statement confirming the news. Ozzy had been surrounded by the love and support of his nearest and dearest in his final weeks, with son Jack sharing a touching insight. He told his famous father about the rave reviews he had received for his Back to the Beginning concert at Villa Park. Despite all the praise and attention, Ozzy had a very humorous response that showed he still had his blunt ways. Ozzy told his son: "Lot of f***ing good that does me. I'm retired now!" Revealing how he was doing after the show in a now poignant interview, Jack told the Daily Mail:"Dad's great and his mood's really high. He's in a really good spot right now." Speaking of his health issues, Ozzy's son added: "Listen, everyone gets old, everyone slows down as you age - it's part of the journey. I just try and support him as much as I can. We all do." Jack admits that the whole Osbourne family had become emotional watching Ozzu "doing his job" at Villa Park, with the family tearing up. He said that people had been reaching out to the family, showing all kinds of love for the legend. It was announced on Tuesday that after years of battling ill health, Ozzy had died at the age of 76. A statement from the Osbourne family read: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. "He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis." It's claimed that Ozzy's health had rapidly deteriorated on Tuesday morning, with an air ambulance being sent to his home in Buckinghamshire, where paramedics spent hours attempting to save him. A local resident said they became alarmed after noticing the helicopter in the quiet village and saw it landing close to Ozzy and Sharon's mansion. They told the MailOnline: "All of us were talking about it and wondering what had happened. We immediately feared it may be for him as he was known to be in fragile health. When we heard later that night that he had died it confirmed our worst fears." A spokesperson for Thames Valley Air Ambulance said: "We can confirm that our helicopter was dispatched to provide advanced critical care at an incident near Chalfont St Giles yesterday." Meanwhile, his sisters received the news via phone call hours before the Osbourne family issued their statement. Speaking from her sister Gillian's house, Ozzy's sister, Jean, told the Mirror that the last time she saw her brother, she found it "upsetting." She said: "We saw him in Birmingham the other week when he and the rest of the band were given the freedom of the city. "It was upsetting because he could not stand up straight, but he was still our John, still cracking the jokes. To us, he was our brother, not a celebrity, so it's crazy to see the outpouring of love since his death was announced. We just can't believe he is gone, and we won't be getting another phone call or text from him. Every week without fail, he would get in touch, either by phone or text, to ask how we were all doing and what was going on."
