'Kingdom' Box Office Collection Day 14: Vijay Deverakonda starrer collects Rs 23 lakh; earns Rs 51.88 crore domestically

's latest film, 'Kingdom' was released on July 31, and the movie opened to generally positive and mixed reviews at the box office. As per early estimates, on Day 14, 'Kingdom' collected Rs 23 lakh, taking its total to Rs 51.88 crore.
According to trade analyst Sacnilk, Kingdom had a solid first week, earning Rs 47.35 crore. Entering its second week, the film saw the expected drop but maintained decent footfalls over the weekend. On its second Friday, it minted Rs 1 crore, followed by a 25% jump on Saturday with Rs 1.25 crore. Sunday had a slight dip to Rs 1.15 crore. Then later the weekdays saw sharper declines, with Monday bringing in Rs 47 lakh, Tuesday collecting Rs 43 lakh, and Wednesday adding the Rs 23 lakh early estimates.
Theatre occupancy
In terms of theatre occupancy, the film recorded an overall 11.21% occupancy in the Telugu states on Day 14. Morning shows saw 12.23%, afternoon shows 11.16%, evening shows 11.13%, and night shows 10.31%. This indicates that while the weekday numbers have softened, the film is still managing to pull in a loyal audience, especially in the Telugu-speaking regions.
However, the movie is expected to experience a steep fall in the occupancy as one of the most highly anticipated films, 'Coolie' starring Rajinikanth and other big superstars such as Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, and more, and Jr NTR, Hrithik Roshan's 'War 2' has also hit the big screens today.
About 'Kingdom'
Released pan-India, 'Kingdom' was also dubbed in Hindi under the title 'Samrajya'. The action-drama is helmed by director Gowtam Tinnanuri, known for his emotional sports drama 'Jersey'. 'Kingdom' tells the story of Surya, who is an undercover police constable in Sri Lanka, looking to dismantle a smuggling syndicate while reconnecting with his estranged brother.
