Naidu visionary leader, Minister Anita lauds
Addressing the huge gathering at TDP Mahanadu held in Kadapa on Thursday, Minister Anita pointed out that many companies are coming forward to invest in the State, due to the CM's efforts.
She said, 'Naidu has eradicated factionism in Rayalaseema region and provided livelihood to people. Sri City also developed under his rule only.'
Reminding that ganja was rampant across the State during previous YSRCP rule and there was no law and order, Anita said State went back by 20 years in development and many cases were booked on opposition party leaders.
Anita said there were no jobs also. She appealed party activists to start working for 2029 elections.
MLA Madhavi assures development of Kadapa
Kadapa MLA R Madhavi Reddy assured that she will develop infrastructure in Kadapa and keep up her election promises. Speaking at Mahanadu, she pointed out though the State government is facing financial crisis, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is implementing welfare schemes and releasing funds for the development of Kadapa. She recalled that TDP had history of starting projects, and solved drinking water problem in Rayalaseema region. She further said that students of Rayalaseema region got software jobs because of Naidu's efforts, who developed the IT industry in the erstwhile AP.
The MLA claimed that TDP is the party of the downtrodden and weaker sections; it is a party with discipline and commitment. TDP has provided assurance to the elderly by giving pensions, initiated projects for Rayalaseema and quenched the thirst of millions of people.

Chandrababu symbolizes determination, discipline, skill, and patience, she stated. She said that if Polavaram is completed and Krishna waters are brought to Banakacherla, nothing can stop Rayalaseema's development.

In February 2025, sadhus and temple priests launched a hunger strike, demanding immediate cancellation of the resort March, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu responded decisively, announcing the cancellation of all tenders related to the Mumtaz Hotel and declaring, 'No Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) land will be used for privatisation.'Criticising the previous administration's approach, Naidu said, 'You've seen the last government, when they gave permission for the construction of Mumtaz hotels, Devalok project etc. They changed the name, but we told them we can't give permission for the same.'The Oberoi Group reportedly offered to serve only vegetarian food at the resort to align with the spiritual nature of the region, but the government stood firm. CM Naidu to launch free power, GST relief for AP weavers on National Handloom Day
VIJAYAWADA: On National Handloom Day on Thursday, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will unveil three major schemes designed to uplift Andhra Pradesh's weaving community and strengthen the handloom sector. The first initiative is a `189.62 crore free electricity scheme, which provides 200 units of free power for handlooms and 500 units for power looms. This move is expected to significantly reduce operational costs for weavers, resulting in annual savings of Rs 14,956 for handloom users and Rs 32,604 for those operating power looms. The second scheme introduces a Rs 5 crore thrift fund aimed at enhancing weaver welfare. This fund will serve as a financial cushion for artisans, helping them manage unforeseen expenses and invest in their craft with greater confidence. The third measure is a 5% GST exemption on handloom products. By removing this tax burden, the government hopes to make handloom goods more affordable for consumers, thereby boosting demand and ensuring year-round employment for weavers. Under Naidu's leadership, the coalition government has revitalised the handloom sector, which now supports over 2.5 lakh weavers and contributes to a Rs 1,374 crore industry. The government's Textile Policy is poised to create 1.51 lakh jobs through the development of MSME park units, textile parks in Emmiganur, Rayadurgam, Mylavaram, and Pamidi, and skill development programmes.
