WWE SummerSlam 2025 officially kicks off on Saturday, August 1, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and continues with Night 2 on Sunday, August 3. The two-night format mirrors WrestleMania's format, allowing for a larger card and more matches to take place. The event will mark John Cena's final SummerSlam ahead of his upcoming retirement. Cena previously defeated Rhodes back in April, while Rhodes earned his way back to the title picture by defeating Randy Orton to win the 2025 King of the Ring Tournament at WWE Night of Champions. There will also be an epic showdown between World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and CM Punk. Gunther reclaimed the title from Jey Uso after losing it at WrestleMania in April. He'll now be challenged by CM Punk, who has yet to capture a world title since his 2023 WWE return. A WWE Women's Championship is also on the line this weekend, with Tiffany Stratton set to defend her title against Queen of the Ring winner Jade Cargill. Additionally, a Triple Threat match for the Women's World Championship will take place between Naomi, IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley. What Time Does WWE SummerSlam 2025 Start Tonight? NYC Summer Streets 2025 runs the length of Manhattan today. See the list of closures.
New York City's Summer Streets program takes over Manhattan on Saturday. The NYC Department of Transportation says city residents can traverse the length of Manhattan, from the Brooklyn Bridge to Inwood, for the first time in the program's history. The Summer Streets program has been expanding since it started in 2008. The popular city initiative, with events in all five boroughs this year, shuts downs streets to vehicle traffic and opens them to pedestrians and bikers alike on select Saturdays during the season. "The usual traffic noise and honking horns will be replaced by open streets teeming with walkers, bikers, runners, and performers. Discover a wealth of free cultural programs, performances, fitness classes, interactive art, giveaways, and much more as you experience the city in a whole new way," the NYDOT website says. Summer Streets 2025 continues in Manhattan on August 9 and 16, followed by Brooklyn and the Bronx on August 23. It kicked off last weekend in Queens and Staten Island. Activities are planned from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Summer Streets program is in addition to the city's "Open Streets" throughout the year. NYC DOT says Park Avenue, north of 125 Street, and most adjacent avenues will remain open to motor vehicles during Summer Streets in Manhattan. The following streets are closed Saturday at the NYPD's discretion, according to NYC DOT. Route: Rest Stops: Miscellaneous: Additional Locations:

The company's revenue was $23.6 billion, beating Wall Street forecasts of $23.1 billion. DIS expects full-year adjusted EPS to be $5.75.
