I've found the best last-minute Prime Day sales — my top picks on Samsung, Ring, and more
Fortunately, I've put in the hard work for you and scrolled through more pages than I can count to pick out the top 11 deals I'd recommend buying right now – before it's too late.
My personal favourites include £70 off the Ring Video Doorbell and a whopping £160 off the Sony XM5 headphones. Both unbelievable deals, but don't worry, there's 9 more to add to your basket! Remember, you'll want to be a Prime customer to take advantage of the full savings.
Prime Day is as good a time as any to invest in some new fitness gear and when Adidas offer discounts like these, it's hard to ignore! There's a variety of colours and sizes to choose from, varying in price by a couple of pounds. But, whatever you pick, you'll still make a great saving and add a gym staple to your wardrobe for less.
The ultimate summer pick for women's fitness is a lightweight, anti-odour and quick-drying vest. Fortunately, UA is offering a whopping 40% off this Prime Day for its Tech Tank. For such a comfy fit that can take you from running in the gym to running errands seamlessly, it's tempting to buy more than one...
These are my favourite socks for running and that's thanks to their anti-blister and sweat-wicking qualities. They're built to endure and you'll even get a replacement for free if you somehow wear a hole into them in the first year. 3 pairs for £24 is an absolute steal.
Finding trainers on Amazon can sometimes be a little tricky, but for Prime Day there's a 50% discount off these comfy sneakers that is definitely worth talking about. A shock-absorbing midsole and flexible outsole makes for a perfect everyday trainer. But, it's also worth noting, the price varies depending on size and colour.
Once I invested in my Ring doorbell, I never looked back and if you're yet to grab one, now is the perfect time. With an incredible £70 off, this easy to install and easy-to-use doorbell will give you invaluable home protection, including night vision and motion alerts. Don't be put off by the battery – it's very easy to charge and lasts for ages. Available in both Silver and Bronze.
£80 off the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 with 64GB storage is an excellent deal. You can split your large display into two sections for multitasking, meaning you can video chat and do some work with two apps open at the same time. It also comes with a 3-year warranty, so if anything goes wrong, you've got peace of mind.
When we got hold of the Brooks Ghost 16 in 2024, we said it was the "best version of the shoe in years" and we absolutely mean it. With improved midsole foam and upgrades on durability, it's a reliable daily trainer that's perfect for runners starting out their fitness journey. Depending on the size and colour you go for, the price will vary.
Amazon's newest Kindle Paperwhite comes with a 7-inch glare-free display, weeks of battery life, adjustable warm light and absolutely no ads. It's what the brand are calling their "fastest Kindle ever" and this Prime Day, you can get it for 21% off.
If your vacuum has just given up the ghost or you've found yourself checking out cordless models, now is the time to strike. With 34% off, the price actually dropped while I was writing this. The Dyson V8 is rechargeable, powerful, versatile and very quiet. With up to 40-minutes of power, it can tackle your everyday cleaning tasks with ease. And it can be yours for the wonderful price of £218.
The Sony WH-1000XM5's are big performers, thanks to their sleek design, feature set and exceptional ANC performers. With £110 off, it's a huge saving if you're in the market for some premium wireless cans. They've got great control options, long battery life and articulate sound all for a very reasonable price.
The Apple Watch Series 10 is the tech brand's flagship smartwatch with wide-angle OLED displays, a lighter design and faster charging on its 18-hour battery life. It might not look that new, but the feature set is packed with handy tools that'll help with health, fitness and more. At time of writing, it had already sold out in a few colours, but there's still a few left ready to grab!

How to Save on School Supplies
The best way to save on basic school supplies is not buying at all, which may be more possible than many parents think. Start with a little research into your school's policies to avoid any unnecessary purchases, advises Kalee Thompson, Wirecutter's editor of baby and kid coverage. 'Honestly, my kids' schools supply pretty much all the school supplies, which is typical with a lot of public schools these days,' she says. In the three different school districts her family has lived, 'the school provides the pencils/paper/basic school supplies, but in some cases [will ask] parents to buy stuff in bulk for the classroom. That could include everything from tape and paper to tissues and snacks! Hello, Costco, or other big-box store.' But what if you have to buy essentials? The best times to save on the basics happen earlier and more often than you may think. Amazon and competing retailers now offer big sales on household essentials, school supplies among them, at predictable points throughout the year. The most fruitful time is Amazon's July Prime Day, which sees competing sales from the likes of Target and Walmart and can be a great time to pick up pens, pencils, and paper products such as notebooks and planners. The competing sales often allow you to buy from the retailer you most prefer. Historically, the Wirecutter Deals team has observed a higher number of deals on basics during this July time frame than in most other periods. And that tracks beyond Wirecutter picks: We looked at the price histories of several of the top-selling products on Amazon in commonly requested school-supply categories, including pencils, glue, markers, dry-erase markers, tissues, crayons, colored pencils, highlighters, folders, lined paper, scissors, erasers, and notebooks, and found that July was a top time to buy for nearly two-thirds of them. (This July, we even saw a three-pack of our longtime favorite ballpoint pen drop to the lowest price we've seen, at just $1 per pen.) Of course, during the school year, essential school supplies can get depleted or lost. Thankfully, any stock sold out during the back-to-school rush is usually replenished by the time Amazon's October Prime Day sale and other competing events roll around. Black Friday and Cyber Week also bring notable sales on our school-supplies picks, offering you a great opportunity to stock up for the following semester.

Satisfy your charging needs with these two deals!
Is your phone charging slowly? Chances are the charger is to blame. Here's an awesome deal on a fast charger with multiple ports that will untether you from the outlet. Also, we have a deal that will help if you are lacking outlets! Let's go into the details. Buy the UGREEN 100W 4 in 1 GaN USB-C Charger with Retractable Cable for $44.99 ($15 off) Buy the Anker Surge Protector Power Strip 2100J for $22.79 ($7.20 off) These offers are available from Amazon, but they are slightly different. The UGREEN discount is applied automatically. Meanwhile, the Anker offer comes in the form of an on-page coupon you must manually apply before adding the item to your cart. UGREEN 100W 4 in 1 GaN USB-C Charger with Retractable Cable As mentioned above, slow charging is usually caused by lower-end chargers. Unfortunately, many people don't know this and can't figure out why it takes so long to juice up their devices. Get a better charger with nice specs, and you'll be charging your phone in times you might not even think possible. For example, the UGREEN 100W 4 in 1 GaN USB-C Charger with Retractable Cable has a max output of 100W. To put matters into perspective, a high-end device like the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra can charge at 45W. In this case, two of the USB-C ports can reach the full 100W (one of them is the built-in retractable cable). There is also another 30W USB-C connection and a 22.5W USB-A port. Of course, these are max outputs. Wattage will be shared if you connect multiple devices simultaneously. The retractable USB-C cable is pretty convenient, as it means you don't have to carry around any cables if you don't need to charge more than one device at a time. Anker Surge Protector Power Strip (2100J) I move more often than most people. I swear, I have changed homes every few years since I can remember, and there is one issue I always come across. I swear, I've never lived in a place with enough AC outlets! I am very familiar with power strips, and the Anker Surge Protector Power Strip (2100J) is my most recent acquisition. I actually paid full price for this one, and I got the more expensive 10ft version. Joke's on me, I guess. If you're satisfied with the 5ft model, you can get this power strip for just $22.79. The unit comes with 12 AC outlets, which should be enough for most people's needs. Additionally, it features a USB-C port (20W) and two USB-A (12W) connections. This means you could power up to 15 things at once! It also comes with 2,100J protection for power surges, an 18-month warranty, and a lifetime warranty on up to $200,000 of connected devices. You'll have to look more into the specifics, but that sounds really nice to me! Overall, mine is serving me very well, and now all my desk electronics can be connected without issues. And I think the price for such a good power strip is really good, even at its full price. These charging products will set you up for a seamless experience and fast performance. Are you getting either of them? Maybe both? Act quickly, because we're not sure how long the offers will last. Follow

Could Ethereum One Day Surpass Microsoft's Market Cap?
Bitcoin just passed Amazon (AMZN) in market value. Now, crypto fans are wondering if Ethereum could be next in line to challenge a tech giant like Microsoft (MSFT)? Elevate Your Investing Strategy: Take advantage of TipRanks Premium at 50% off! Unlock powerful investing tools, advanced data, and expert analyst insights to help you invest with confidence. Ethereum is growing fast. It's already the second-biggest cryptocurrency after Bitcoin. Some investors believe it could eventually match or even surpass major tech giants like Microsoft in value. That idea may seem far-fetched, but when you look at how Ethereum works and where it could go, the possibility becomes a lot more real. Today, Microsoft is worth over $3.4 trillion. Ethereum, on the other hand, has a market cap of around $470 billion. That means it would need to grow more than seven times to reach Microsoft's level. This kind of growth wouldn't happen overnight. But if certain things line up, Ethereum could close the gap. Ethereum Is More Than Just a Coin Unlike Bitcoin, which mostly acts as a store of value, Ethereum is a platform. It supports a wide range of digital applications. These include lending platforms, decentralized exchanges, gaming, NFTs, and tools for digital identity. Every time one of these apps is used, Ethereum's network processes the transaction. In this sense, Ethereum is like the operating system of the blockchain world. This is similar to what Microsoft achieved with Windows. Microsoft's software became the standard for businesses and homes worldwide. Ethereum is trying to do the same in a new digital economy. It wants to become the base layer for financial apps, digital ownership, and programmable money. If it succeeds, the value created on top of Ethereum could be massive. Big Investors Are Starting to Pay Attention For Ethereum to catch Microsoft, a lot more money would need to flow into the ecosystem. A major step in that direction happened in 2025 when the US approved spot Ethereum ETFs. These products allow traditional investors to get exposure to Ethereum through regulated stock exchanges. Since then, billions of dollars have entered the space. But it's still just the beginning. Institutional investors like pension funds and asset managers currently hold a small share of Ethereum-based assets. If that changes, the demand for ETH could rise sharply. These large investors often wait for clearer regulations and more stable infrastructure before making big moves. Ethereum will need to keep improving in those areas to win them over. Ethereum's Real-World Use Cases Need to Grow Most Ethereum usage still happens within the crypto world. That needs to change if ETH is going to become truly mainstream. Ethereum must find ways to be useful outside of DeFi and crypto trading. For example, it could play a role in processing cross-border payments, issuing digital bonds, or powering loyalty programs. Tokenization is another big opportunity. Financial institutions are already experimenting with putting real-world assets like stocks and real estate on the blockchain. If this trend continues and Ethereum becomes the preferred platform for these new markets, it could unlock trillions in value. Ethereum must also stay ahead of technical challenges. Competing platforms like Solana, Avalanche, and others are fighting for market share by offering faster and cheaper services. Ethereum's recent upgrades have helped, but it must keep innovating to hold its lead. Regulation Will Play a Big Role Government policy is always a bit uncertain. Clear and favorable regulations would give investors more confidence in Ethereum. In 2025, new laws like the Clarity Act helped lay out some basic rules for digital assets. These kinds of steps help reduce uncertainty and open the door for more serious capital to enter the space. Still, regulators will keep watching Ethereum closely. It hosts thousands of apps, some of which could be seen as financial services. That means compliance will be an ongoing challenge. The more Ethereum can prove it's safe, stable, and legally sound, the better its chances of mass adoption. What Would It Take to Match Microsoft? To match Microsoft's market cap, Ethereum would need to be widely used in everyday life. It would need to support a range of industries beyond crypto, attract massive institutional investment, and become a trusted foundation for digital finance. It would also need to keep its edge as the leading smart contract platform, which means constantly improving the user experience and developer tools. The gap today is large, but Ethereum is still young. Microsoft took decades to become the tech powerhouse it is today. Ethereum could be on a similar path, just in a different type of economy. At the time of writing, Ethereum is sitting at $3,819.32.
