Oasis tour Manchester Heaton Park full line up confirmed with new set times

Daily Mirror5 hours ago

Oasis bring their tour to Manchester Heaton Park shortly and details of the full line up are confirmed with new set times
The support acts playing at Heaton Park as part on the Oasis tour in Manchester are sure to delight most fans - as they have regularly played with Oasis in the past.
The first act playing at Oasis Live 25 will be Cast, the Liverpool band formed in 1992 by John Power and best known for their 1995 albums All Change. Speaking about playing on the tour, John told the Mirror he will be their as an Oasis fan as well as playing before them.

The band split up in 2001 but reformed in 2010 and last year they toured as support for Liam Gallagher as he played a Definitely Maybe Oasis tour which fans loved. And now the Manchester frontman has personally got them back for the Oasis shows.

John said: "I got a call from a number, and I have got Liam and Noel's numbers and all that, but it was a different number, and I don't normally answer them. And I picked it up, and it was Debbie, Liam's manager and his wife, and Liam in the background as well. And then Liam, he'd just spoken to Noel and they just discussed it, and they just said, 'You know, look, we just spoke to our kid. Do you want to open up on the tour?'
"I was like, 'You know, I think I do actually!' And it was a really cool conversation, and then we were blown away like, I mean, it was like the best news we could have hoped for."
He adds: "It's the biggest tour this year and it authenticates the legacy of Cast. This is a band in previous years if there was a Britpop list, top 20, we wouldn't even be in it. But now you can't do it. Because it's like the biggest band of that time are saying 'check this out'."
As well as the call from Liam, Cast firmly have the Oasis seal-of-approval with Noel Gallagher previously describing frontman John as being 'as cosmic as the day is long.'
Fans can expect John to belt out 'Alright' and 'Finetime' to fire up audiences from the off, while slow burners such as 'Sandstorm' and 'Walkaway' are perfect for early singalongs in the stadiums.

After touring with Oasis, Cast will then be on the road themselves with dates going through the year.
The second and main support act will be Richard Ashcroft, the former Verve frontman. He has been playing alongside Oasis since the Nineties when they began. When they started out Oasis would support The Verve at shows because they were the bigger band.
Speaking about the upcoming tour, Richard said: "I see it as I've got a very important part to play in this.

"You know, back in the day Oasis supported The Verve and then it flipped around and we supported Oasis at Earls Court, then I as a solo artist have played with Oasis."
He went on to tell the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X: "I said to Noel, 'You know, I think I'm the only person who could go in this slot. Especially for a huge outdoor show, because everyone wants you lot. And unless you're coming with something, unless you've got something to offer, I don't know what's gonna happen'."
A two-time Ivor Novello Award winner (Songwriter of the Year and Outstanding Contribution To British Music), Ashcroft has become an accomplished and influential songwriters.

His first chapter with The Verve reached a remarkable peak with 'Urban Hymns', and his support slot is sure to be a hit-laden set with the likes of 'Bitter Sweet Symphony', 'The Drugs Don't Work', 'Lucky Man' and 'Sonnet'. These tracks made Urban Hymns one of the biggest selling albums in UK history with 11 x Platinum certifications.
As well as the Oasis Live 25 tour, Ashcroft will play select headline shows and festivals this Summer.
Oasis have now confirmed via a link on their official website that the gates at Heaton park will open at 3pm. The information is provided on gigsandtours.com which sold tickets for the shows and also states: 'The music will finish at 22:30 and food vendors will remain open until 23:00.'

Both support acts will be expected to play 30-45 minutes on stage, before the main event of Oasis back on stage for the first time since 2009.
When Catfish and The Bottlemen played at Heaton Park in June their show also finished at 10.30 and they came on at 9pm, although Oasis are expected to play a longer set.
Their support act played from 7.30pm-8.25 with DJs on beforehand. Cast would therefore be on stage around 6pm, followed by Richard Ashcroft, with Oasis taking to the stage around 8pm. It's thought the band will get a DJ playing before the bands, something Liam did on his Definitely Maybe tour last year.
It's thought some tickets for Oasis show will become available in the coming days after the band made an announcement on social media. The tour kicks off in Cardiff on July 4 and then continues to Manchester before moving onto London's Wembley stadium.

Oasis tour 2025: Dates, tickets, setlist rumours and what to know

The wait is finally over. After 16 years, Oasis will reunite on Friday July 4 for the first of two spectacular stadium shows in Cardiff, before embarking on a wider tour that takes in Manchester's Heaton Park, Wembley Stadium in London and Murrayfield in Edinburgh – as well as dates in cities from New York to Sydney and Buenos Aires later in the year. Fans never thought it would happen; unprecedented demand crashed Ticketmaster, sparked a row over dynamic pricing and saw around 1.4 million lucky Britons – of 14 million who tried – secure a ticket. But how will the shows go? Liam and Noel Gallagher are as famous for their bust-ups and lairy behaviour as they are their songs – but concerns about whether arguments will interfere with the tour should be quelled by realism: there's a lot of money on the line for Manchester's gobbiest brothers, and they're probably not going to risk messing their big payday up. So, if you're one of the fortunate people to have tickets, here's everything you need to know ahead of the decade's most anticipated tour: from all of the dates to the band's line-up, rumoured setlist and confirmed support acts, we have you covered. Skip to What's on the setlist? Who's actually in the band? Ticket information Who is supporting? Where to buy merch Our tips – from those who've been Oasis tour: UK dates and locations Cardiff, Principality Stadium – July 4 and 5 Manchester, Heaton Park – July 11, 12, 16, 19 and 20 London, Wembley Stadium – July 25, 26 and 30; August 2 and 3; September 27 and 28 Edinburgh, Murrayfield Stadium – August 8, 9 and 12 What's on the setlist? Unsurprisingly, the tour's setlist is being kept closely under wraps, but that doesn't mean there aren't rumours. Liam Gallagher responded to a 'leaked' list circulating on X with 'It's not far off', which is perhaps unsurprising given Oasis didn't make that much music: seven albums, but, let's be honest, only four of those – Definitely Maybe, (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, Be Here Now and, at a push, Heathen Chemistry – actually contain songs fans want to hear. The setlist is rumoured to be made up of 21 songs, and is likely to include the following tracks: Acquiesce Some Might Say Lyla Shakermaker The Hindu Times She's Electric Stand By Me Stop Crying Your Heart Out The Importance Of Being Idle Half The World Away Whatever Slide Away Supersonic Morning Glory Rock'n'Roll Star Cigarettes & Alcohol Wonderwall Don't Look Back In Anger Live Forever Champagne Supernova

Oasis fans have been given one final chance to buy tour tickets now

Oasis have finally released some new tickets for their Oasis Live '25 tour, but not everyone was successful in getting invited. Oasis fans are in a frenzy this week as the band just confirmed the existence of a new set of tickets for their upcoming Oasis Live '25 gigs. And, even more exciting, these tickets will be released very soon - just ahead of the Gallagher brothers hitting the road. Speaking out in a statement on their social media accounts, Oasis wrote: "As the shows are getting closer, Oasis promoters may be able to release a very limited number of additional tickets for sale once final sight lines are checked and the production is fine tuned." It added: "These final production releases will happen over the coming days." As a result, fans are now expecting to hear from official retailer Ticketmaster on whether they have been successful in receiving tickets from this new batch. However, with no timeline on when this happens - if it happens at all - many fans will be left disappointed. Thankfully, Ticketmaster is not the only place fans can buy Oasis tickets for their upcoming tour right now. And, considering the band are playing 17 shows across the UK beginning in just a matter of days, time is running out for fans who want to get last-minute access. And they're shows one won't want to miss. Liam and Noel Gallagher are set to play some of the country's biggest and best venues including London's Wembley Stadium, Cardiff's Principality Stadium, Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium, and more. Below, we have broken down all the options Oasis-lovers have to buy tickets right now. This ranges from official retailers to VIP sellers and resale websites. viagogo and resale tickets Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs. Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused. How to buy Oasis tickets now Oasis tickets are available right now from a number of online retailers. This includes both official and resale websites. Fans will likely want to peruse Ticketmaster's wares first, as they have been touted as the original seller of the band's tour tickets. However, the online media giant has not had any tickets for some time. And, at the time of writing, only people with allocated codes can buy tickets. Regardless, here's the link: TICKETMASTER - Buy Oasis tickets here. Otherwise, resale websites are where fans ought to be looking the most. Oasis have signposted Twickets as their official resale websites, however, they have not had tickets for a very long time. As a result, fans have flocked to the likes of viagogo, Vivid Seats and StubHub instead. And, at the time of writing, some Oasis tickets are being sold for around £200 each on viagogo. Here's the links: VIAGOGO - Buy Oasis tickets here. VIVID SEATS - Buy Oasis tickets here. STUBHUB - Buy Oasis tickets here. TWICKETS - Buy Oasis tickets here. Finally, there are also official tickets available from VIP and hospitality-based website Seat Unique. This retailer gives fans the absolute best chance of getting involved in Oasis' tour dates this year. What's more, these VIP tickets give fans a chance to see the band with an added touch of flair and glamour. Here's the link: Where are Oasis playing in the UK?
