Viewers have already suspected he is the biological father of troublesome Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey).
Writing online, fans have speculated another shock paternity twist for Kit - and it could tie into a "forgotten" mystery.
One person penned on Reddit: "The DNA test hasn't been taken yet but I think Kit has already been confirmed to be the father of Brody.
"Was he missing tonight bc he was taking the test?
"How long will he have to wait for the results?"
The online user then turned their attention to Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) - the daughter of Kit's police colleague Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers).
They added: "Betsy's father/ the donor was brought up tonight. I know he was used as a lie, but it got me thinking.
"Betsy is likely 17 now, so maybe in around a year, she'll want to learn more about him.
"He's probably just a stranger, but if he were someone on the street, who could it be?
"Kit would probably be the most likely guess, but he would've been 13/14 when Becky got pregnant.
Coronation Street reveals dark secret about dodgy cop Kit Green
"Also, that would potentially make Brody her half- brother."
Another fan disagreed, writing: "I don't think a 13/14 year old would be allowed to donate sperm so Kit being Betsy's dad seems highly unlikely."
A third shared: "Steve or David are more likely than Kit."
While a fourth remarked: "Why are people so obsessed with who Betsy's father is? He's just a sperm donor most likely a randomer wanting to earn some money like Lisa said."
Betsy is the biological daughter of Lisa's late wife, Becky Swain - who died in 2021.
History of the Coronation Street set
By Jake Penkethman, TV Reporter
1960-1968 - Whilst the Coronation Street set remained on Quay Street for 53 years, it actually had three separate studio sites. The first was an entirely indoor wooden set which was used for the first eight years of filming. This encompassed a replica of the Street built entirely indoors. The set was known to be awkward for actors to use and the houses brought to three quarter scale.
1968-1982 - In 1968, the addition of an outdoor set was created to adjoin the existing indoor set which was still used for filming right up until 1982. The set was used only when required with many of the show's cast reportedly hating it and describing it as 'the coldest place on Earth'.
1982-2013 - A brand new set was officially constructed in 1982 and was almost built fully to scale but still only permitted for one car to drive down the cobbled street. The house were purpose-built using reclaimed Salford brick in order to give it the most authentic feel possible. During these years, some of the show's buildings were adapted to allow for both interior and exterior filming at the same time. These locations included Elliott's Butchers, Barlow's Buys, Prima Doner and Webster's Autos. The final scenes to be recorded on this site occurred in December 2013. By early 2014, it began operating as a tourist attraction for around two years before ultimately being demolished and re-purposed in 2017.
2014-present - In early 2014, the show's set moved to the TV hub of the North - MediaCityUK in nearby Salford Quays. It is now located a stone's throw from major TV studio Dock 10 as well as the BBC's base in the North - home to Blue Peter, Newsround, BBC Breakfast and BBC Sport. The new set was even bigger and built to 9/10 the scale of a real street and allowed for two card to be travelling down the road at opposite sides for the very first time. The site has even undergone major expansions during its 10 years. Just four years after opening in 2018, a brand new set extension was unveiled which introduced viewers to Victoria Gardens for the first time in its history. The Weatherfield North tram stop also became visible as did a series of shops which became used as part of product placement advertising deals. Brands to have been seen on the Street so far include a Co-Op, a Costa Coffee and a branch of Hay's Travel. Four years later in 2022, another brand new set was unveiled, this time being the heavily mentioned Weatherfield Precinct. It became the first time in 62 years that the area had ever been seen on screens. It fearued a variety of shop fronts, a playground and a number of small flats which have begun to house more and more residents on the street in recent months.
Since arriving in Coronation Street, she had a short-lived bond with reformed bully Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan).
Although this ended in tragedy when Mason was killed off at the start of the year.
Betsy has also adjusted to life with her mum's new partner, Carla Connor (Alison King).

Louis Tomlinson and Sam Thompson hold Soccer Aid ‘peace' dinner to put any awkwardness over Zara McDermott behind them

LOVE rivals Sam Thompson and Louis Tomlinson had dinner together during a Soccer Aid team bonding session to ease any tension between them before today's big match. I'm told the ex- One Direction star and I'm A Celeb winner are determined to put any awkwardness over Zara McDermott behind them. 13 13 They are both part of the England team taking on a World XI for UNICEF. Louis is romancing TV presenter Zara, who split with Sam late last year. The dinner took place with the lads and some teammates at Champneys spa in Tring, Herts, where they have been training for the match at Old Trafford. A source said: 'There is no beef between the pair and they're both going to ensure their love lives don't distract from such a big charity spectacle. They are fully aware that their every move is being scrutinised and they've broken bread with their teammates, so it'll be smooth sailing on the day.' Zara has already ruled herself out of attending. Sam also presented a video of his charity work in Guatemala to both sets of players. He said: 'I did a small talk in front of everyone, which was terrifying, and I maintain I think it's the most important thing I've done in my 32 years of life. 'I really do believe that. Getting to go to Guatemala to see what UNICEF do on the ground is just life-changing.' Unfortunately, Sam has been ruled out of playing in the game. He suffered injuries during his 260-mile running and cycling trek between London and Manchester, in aid of UNICEF, ahead of the match. Sam Thompson breaks silence on injury that forced him out of Soccer Aid and says he had to be 'carried' to physio room Sam explained: 'I'm now part of the coaching team, so I'm going to be on the sidelines along with Vicky McLure and also Tyson Fury, and I'm going to be putting my two pence in. "But I will still get to be part of it all.' HARRY: TYSON IS BOSS HARRY REDKNAPP will let England assistant boss Tyson Fury do whatever the boxer wants as he makes his coaching debut at Soccer Aid. They are part of a four-way management team that also includes Wayne Rooney and Vicky McLure. 13 13 Ex-Portsmouth and Spurs manager Harry said: 'It'll be a joint affair, but if Tyson says it's happening, we're not going to argue.' He added: 'He's very similar to my old number two Joe Jordan. He was very quiet and would just look at an opposing manager and go 'shut it' and they would not say another word.' GORKA GLOVES PADDY DANCER Gorka Marquez has turned into a Strictly scout looking for potential Soccer Aid talent to be in the next series. He reckons newly single TV and radio host Paddy McGuinness in training as goalie, would be a top signing. 13 Gorka revealed: 'Paddy has talent and he's funny. He would be great.' Gorka insisted he had no plans to retire from the hit BBC One programme. He said: 'Why would I want to leave the biggest show on TV? I want to be like Anton Du Beke, still competing at the age he was.' BEY BROOD'S STAGE 'NO' BEYONCE is giving her kids great music experience by featuring them in her Cowboy Carter tour. But the youngsters, who have also been on Bey's records, are not certain to follow in their mum's footsteps, according to grandma Tina Knowles. She said: 'Beyonce's kids go on tour with her every single time since they were newborns. And it's wonderful for them.' Tina added: 'I don't know if they're going to go into that business or not. I hope that they don't.' Speaking of Bey and Jay-Z's eldest daughter Blue Ivy, who at 13 is a talented dancer, Tina told Sirius FM: 'Blue is super-talented, but Blue also rides horses well, plays the piano. She is multi-talented. So we don't know what she is going to do. And she's a spitfire.' Just like mum . . . Rita fourer RITA ORA has always been a fashionista with evolving style – but four outfits in one day is quite a stretch even for her. The singer showed off her gym-honed physique as she promoted new single Heat around London, including at two radio stations. 13 13 As the day progressed, she went from a couple of sporty looks – and a bralette and eye-catching pink feathery sandals – to jeans and a blouse. Rita still managed to look fantastic in all of them. DANNY'S PERFECT END TO ED ROW ED SHEERAN and Danny Dyer had a bizarre falling out over fish and chips – but have buried the hatchet thanks to football. It started earlier this year when the Perfect singer bashed London chippies, saying: 'You should always be able to see the sea when you have fish and chips, so anywhere that does traditional fish and chips in London. It's like getting sushi in Alabama.' To which proud Cockney geezer Danny fired back: 'That would only be a man who is not from London who would say that. 'I think he's from Ipswich, which I think sums him up.' Ouch. But Ed whisked actor Danny off to see his beloved West Ham play Ipswich Town last month. In a pre-recorded podcast chat with Louis Theroux, which has just dropped, Ed said: 'I was asked about fish and chips and I said you have to see the seaside to eat them, and I wouldn't necessarily want to eat them in London. He took a big offence to that. 'It was a jokey offence, he had a pop at me and I got in contact with him and just said, 'Come to Ipswich'.' He added: 'I love Danny Dyer, we used to have Danny Dyer nights on tour. We watched every single Danny Dyer film.' West Ham won 3 -1, so Danny had the last laugh. YUNG'S GAL PALS YUNGBLUD has set the record straight on some of the famous women in his life, from Anais Gallagher to Florence Pugh. The singer revealed he connected with Florence, who appears in the video for new single Zombie, by messaging her on Instagram. 13 13 He said: 'She's a f*****g legend. I just slipped into her DMs and we became really good mates. We are going for dinner next week to celebrate the album coming out. 'I asked her to be in the video and I really wanted to make a piece of art with a true great British actress and artist.' Yungblud is single after splitting from US musician and actor Jesse Jo Stark, who he reveals is the 'love of my life'. He also opened up about his close friendship with Anais, who is the daughter of Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher. Yungblud insists he is mates with her fella, actor Callum Scott Howells. He said: 'Of course I'm mates with Callum. Everyone is naughty. Anais is one of my best mates. 'Everyone is speculating, but I love Callum. He's a geezer. 'Anais makes me laugh. She is hilarious. I think she is a legend.' Yungblud will hold his very own one-day music festival, Bludfest, at Milton Keynes Bowl on Saturday. He said: 'It feels like all my plans are coming together. This is the fun part. It's now time for me to enjoy it.' KADY NOSE BEST THE already gorgeous Love Islander Kady McDermott has had a non-surgical nose job. She visited skin treatment expert Dr Motox, who performed the same filler tweakment on Ekin-Su Culculoglu. 13 Kady is no stranger to cosmetic procedures, and has had a breast enlargement. She said previously: 'Plastic surgery is such a personal thing and if someone wants to do it, they should. I'm doing a lot of bikini modelling and I'll feel more confident with them done.'

Watch the awkward moment Love Island hunk completely forgets villa beauty's name and confuses her with All Stars girl

THERE was seriously cringe moment in the first Unseen Bits episode of the series. One of the stunning new villa girls was confused with a famous Love Island star from the most recent All Stars series. 6 6 6 6 In tonight's episode of Unseen Bits, now-axed Blu referred to Helena as Harriett a few times. Seemingly getting Helena Ford confused with Harriett Blackmore from Love Island: All Stars, Blu got muddled up and kept referring to Helena as Harriett. In a conversation with Ben and Tommy, Blu repeatedly said "Harriett" when talking about Helena. Even in the beach hut doing in a confessional, Blu kept referring to Helena as Harriett. In the clip where he was chatting to the boys, Blu asked what "blondie's name" was again. Ben and Tommy were then forced to correct him. Blu was dumped from the villa in Friday night's episode after on Thursday, he and Shea were left single and vulnerable when they were failed to get chosen by the girls to be in couples. Between both of the lads, they were tasked with deciding who should stay and who should go. But both lads were determined to stay and refused to back down. Blu confidently said: "I ain't f****** leaving." And Shea echoed: "I ain't either." The Sun then revealed that the pair got into a war of words, with this seen in Friday night's episode before the Islanders were tasked with deciding on who would be dumped from the Island. Ultimately, Blu was dumped from the Island, despite him not agreeing with the outcome. Taking a final jab at Shea after his exit, Blu didn't hold back as he made a veiled dig. Alima Gagigo: International business graduate with brains and ambition. Tommy Bradley: A gym enthusiast with a big heart. Helena Ford: A Londoner with celebrity connections, aiming to find someone funny or Northern. Ben Holbrough: A model ready to make waves. Rose Selway: Beauty salon owner from Devon who runs 12 aesthetics clinics, boasting a famous clientele including former Love Islanders Departures: Kyle Ashman: Axed after an arrest over a machete attack emerged. He was released with no further action taken and denies any wrongdoing. "We asked them [the Islanders] for their point of view as we were both really stubborn in that situation. "We weren't going to budge, so we had to get them to make the decision," he explained in his exit interview. Then, taking a subtle swipe at Shea, Blu said: "I felt like I had a stronger bond with everyone in there, obviously I'd been there a bit longer. "I was constantly trying to make a connection and exploring everyone. "I was making moves as quickly as I could, as opposed to Shea who was a bit more laid back," he slammed. Blu went on: "Everyone had their own thoughts. "But listen, someone's got to go at the end of the day. "The way it went was better than I thought it would have gone; I had some nice things said about me and that meant a lot to me." 6

PM must grasp that ending Britain's booming black market is as vital as stopping migrant boats

End this criminal trade in workers WHILE Chancellor Rachel Reeves splurges £113billion on capital projects, times are still hard for millions of Brits. The prospect of more crippling tax rises is looming over the already stalling economy. 1 But that is the legitimate economy, the one that struggles along supported by the graft of hard-working taxpayers. Meanwhile, Black Market Britain is booming. This illegal economy is worth an estimated £260billion and costs HMRC £2.2billion a year in lost taxes. A staggering one in 11 adults is now employed in this sinister shadow world. It functions across every town and city in Britain and much of it is being driven by illegal migrant labour. While deluded Cabinet Ministers like Darren Jones believe small boat arrivals are mostly women and children, the reality is starkly different. Gangs of young, male illegal migrants hang around our cities daily waiting to be picked up for jobs in the black market. They are exploited by unscrupulous bosses who pay as little as £30 a day. But these cash-in-hand jobs and the free accommodation on offer is the magnet that lures many to Britain in the first place. The law-abiding taxpayer is getting mugged at both ends, funding accommodation and healthcare costs for migrants while seeing the black market undercut legitimate businesses. Scores of migrants board overloaded dinghies to make dangerous Channel crossing to UK - as French cops watch on Successive governments have failed to tackle this mess. But PM Keir Starmer must grasp the fact that ending the illegal economy is as vital as stopping the boats. And he doesn't have to rely on the French to help him do it. Guard us against Iran IRAN'S brutal Revolutionary Guards must be immediately banned in Britain. The despots of Tehran have warned they will seek revenge on any country which assists Israel in its entirely justified assault on their terrorist state. We know the Guards are already behind hit squads targeting opponents of their despotic regime in this country. Only recently our security services warned that they had thwarted numerous Iran-backed death plots. Home Secretary Yvette Cooper promised last month to proscribe the ruthless Guards as a terrorist organisation. But ministers appeared to be dragging their feet for fear of derailing backroom diplomatic deals with the Iranian regime. Keir Starmer moved quickly yesterday to deploy British jets to the Middle East. Now he must take immediate action to protect Brits and Israelis on our streets. We cannot afford any delay.
