Approximately 10.6 lakh had functional toilets, while about 9.3 lakh had operational kitchen sheds, and just under 9 lakh had permanent electricity connection.
Responding to another query, Thakur said during the 15th finance cycle, i.e., up to FY 2025-26, a total of 17,000 Aganwadi-cum-creches have been envisioned for establishment under the Palna Scheme.
'Proposals for establishment of AWCCs are received from the respective state governments/UT administrations, which also contribute their corresponding share for the implementation of the scheme.
'Till date, 14,599 AWCCs have been approved by the ministry as per proposals received from various states/UTs,' Thakur said in a written response.

15,700 public grievances resolved in 2 yrs: WCD
New Delhi: More than 15,700 public grievances submitted through the Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) have been disposed of in the last two years, the Ministry of Women and Child Development (WCD) said on Wednesday. From August 1, 2023, to July 31, 2025, the ministry received 15,761 grievances, carried forward 414 pending cases, and successfully resolved 15,782 grievances, according to the official data shared by Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Savitri Thakur. Jaipur: The state forest department is set to airlift tigers from Madhya Pradesh in a phased interstate relocation, beginning in October and expected to conclude by December. This will be Rajasthan's second helicopter-based tiger translocation, but the first to be done interstate. The first took place successfully in 2008, when a male tiger was flown by helicopter from Ranthambore National Park to Sariska Tiger Reserve. However, that operation was not interstate.
