Chris Brown denies further ‘bottle attack' charges
The American musician, 36, pleaded not guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm to Abraham Diaw at the Tape venue, a private members' club in Hanover Square, Mayfair, on February 19th, 2023.

He also denied having an offensive weapon – a bottle – in a public place.
Brown denied the more serious charge of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm at a previous hearing.
His co-defendant, US national Omololu Akinlolu, 39, also denied assault occasioning actual bodily harm on Friday.

They sat side-by-side in the dock, looking straight ahead during the hearing at Southwark Crown Court.

Around 20 fans sat in the public gallery behind the dock, with several gasping as the singer walked into court.
A date for a five to seven-day trial has been set for October 26th, 2026.
The Go Crazy singer was able to continue with his scheduled international tour after he was freed on conditional bail in May.
He had to pay a £5 million (€5.7 million) security fee to the court as part of the bail agreement, which is a financial guarantee to ensure a defendant returns to court and may be forfeited if they breach bail conditions.

Manchester Magistrates' Court heard previously that Mr Diaw was standing at the bar of the Tape nightclub when he was struck several times with a bottle, and then pursued to a separate area of the nightclub where he was punched and kicked repeatedly.
Brown was arrested at Manchester's Lowry Hotel at 2am on May 15th by detectives from the Metropolitan Police.
He is said to have flown into Manchester Airport on a private jet in preparation for the UK tour dates.
Brown was released from HMP Forest Bank in Salford, Greater Manchester, on May 21st.

Shortly after being released from prison, Brown posted an Instagram story referencing his upcoming tour.
It said: 'FROM THE CAGE TO THE STAGE!!! BREEZYBOWL.'

'The first one she is going to do with Kenneth Branagh.' While best known for her stage work and Hollywood roles, including playing M in eight James Bond films, and her Oscar-winning turn in Shakespeare In Love, Judi has featured in a string of documentaries in recent years. These shows include a 2017 documentary about her passion for trees, and in 2019 she travelled to Asia for the ITV series Judi Dench's Wild Borneo Adventure. 'I've had to find another way of learning lines and things, which is having great friends of mine repeat them to me over and over and over again. 'So I have to learn through repetition, and I just hope that people won't notice too much if all the lines are completely hopeless!' Judi also told The Graham Norton Show about how she battles to memorise lines as she used to rely on her photographic memory. She added: 'I need to find a machine that not only teaches me my lines but also tells me where they appear on the page. 'I used to find it very easy to learn lines and remember them. I could do the whole of Twelfth Night right now.' The veteran actress has not acted on the big screen since 2022's Allelujah, limiting her screen appearances in the past few years to documentaries, where she appeared as herself. And in May, she admitted that she has no future projects in the pipeline while struggling with her ailing sight. Asked if she has any plans for more acting jobs, Judi told a journalist at the Chelsea Flower show: 'No, no, I can't even see!' But towards the end of 2022, she had refused to give up and insisted she wouldn't be retiring anytime soon - despite admitting the condition even then was 'bad'.

A ten-foot drone came so close to colliding with a passenger jet that it covered the plane's windscreen. The Airbus A320 had just taken off from London 's Heathrow Airport back in May and was at 9,000 ft when the near-miss occurred, The Sun reports. A report into the incident by investigation bod UK Airpox Board said: 'Both the Captain and First Officer saw a bright white object pass overhead from the opposite direction. 'It appeared to be approximately 2-3 metres in size at the very least.' The report added: 'It may have been larger as it filled a good proportion of the windshield.' The report added that the aircraft was spotted on radar by air traffic controllers. The in-flight incident investigation body was told a suspected drone had been spotted near London's City Airport prior to the incident. 'The Captain only saw the object for a second or two in peripheral vision so could not reliably comment on the shape. No markings were identified.' The pilot stated that the object 'went over us, probably within about 10m'. It is not clear which airline was operating the aircraft. It comes after a drone came within 10 to 20 metres of colliding with a Boeing 737 airliner as it approached Gatwick Airport in April. In a separate incident, a suspected drone came within 10ft of crashing into a British Airways passenger jet flying over London. The plane, operated by the airline's regional carrier BA Cityflyer, was travelling at 3,000ft four nautical miles north west of London City Airport, when pilots noticed an object with lights. The crew of the Embraer 190, which can carry up to 98 passengers, reported spotting the object at 6.10pm on October 31 after climbing out of the east London airport on a route used for domestic services to Edinburgh and Glasgow. While the incident was reported to police, the nature of the object was never formally identified. According to a report filed by the UK Airprox Board, which monitors and analyses near misses, said that both pilots 'instinctively flinched' as the object came 'extremely close' to the aircraft. The report concluded the incident meant there was a 'definite risk of collision' and or required 'providence', an instinctive pilot judgement in response to an emergency situation. In recent years, pilots have warned of the risk of drones causing potentially catastrophic damage if sucked into a jet engine or smashing into a windscreen.
