Television host Claudia Winkleman has provided an insight into her thought process when presenting television shows.
Claudia, 53, who co-hosts The Piano alongside Mika and Jon Batiste, has been speaking about she keeps her emotions in check during filming.
She explained that the reason is because it is her job to support and empower people rather than get caught up in the moment.
She told the Radio Times Magazine that after one episode of The Piano, she was told by her father it was some of the best work she had ever done.
On the importance of being emotionally stable whilst filming, Claudia said: 'Because when somebody's telling you their story and the power of it is overwhelming, my job is to give them some strength and safety.'
Claudia added: 'After my dad watched last year's final, he phoned me up in tears and he said, 'That's by far the best thing you have ever done'. And that's enough for me, because I can never watching anything I've done back.'
Claudia's career has been in the spotlight in different ways in recent days after fellow presenter Vernon Kay played a clip of one of her first television appearances on his BBC Radio 2 show in which she gave dating advice.
Remarking on the Claudia's early television appearances, Vernon said: 'It's time to dive into the BBC Archive for our midweek trip into the vault. We're taking our second visit to the '90s in recent days.
'Back in 1996, Claudia Winkleman wasn't known as 'Claudia from Strictly', or 'Claudia from the Traitors', or 'National Treasure Claudia Winkleman'. No, no, no, no! For one of her first TV appearances, we saw a whole different side to our Claud.
'Long before Morning Live was around, we had Good Morning with Anne and Nick on BBC One with Claudia introduced as a 'Chat up expert'. This is genius.'
Claudia is now one of the country's most treasured presenters having taken the reigns for Strictly Come Dancing alongside Tess Daly and become presenter of The Traitors.
It was with The Traitors that Claudia found renewed adoration among the public, but admitted she worries about her career coming to an end, reported the Mirror.
She said: I cannot believe my luck. I always panic because [I'm] freelance. I read out loud on tele and somebody suddenly might turn around and go, 'We are done with her'.
'And, that's OK, they can, and I give them full permission and I get it, I'd be like, 'byesy bye, night night, thank you, I've had a lovely run'.'
The final of season three of The Piano airs tonight (May 25) at 9pm on Channel 4.

The decision by the BBC comes after the Welsh opera singer's apology for using 'inappropriate language' during the launch of the Strictly Come Dancing tour. Captioning the post on the social media platform, he said: 'It breaks my heart to say the BBC has decided not to renew my contract so I won't be returning to my radio show. I'm gutted. Thanking his fans, he added: 'From the very depths of my heart — thank you. These past few months, your love has been the light in my darkest days. Every message, every word of encouragement, every moment you stood by me has carried me through more than you could ever know.' Despite Evans' BBC contract not being renewed, he has announced that The Wynne Evans Show is returning to Alexa, Google and will be available to listen on his website too. The show will be live daily and run from 9 am until 12 pm. Announcing the news in the same Instagram post, he wrote: 'This is our next adventure. And I need you more than ever. 'We will have great music, my question of the day, the mystery voice, your soundtrack stories and so much more, because we have each other again. We have a new home. I'm bringing more presenters soon and I am sure you'll recognise a few of the faces. Recommended reading: 'Please — sign up for the newsletter, tell your friends, share the link, and help me make a noise so loud nobody can ignore it. Most of all, tune in. I will be there every day so let's light it up together. 'I'm full of nerves. Full of hope. Full of love. Because when we show up for each other — like we always have — anything is possible.' A spokesperson for the BBC told Newsquest: 'Wynne Evans is not under contract with the BBC. 'He is not returning to the mid-morning show on BBC Radio Wales and there are currently no plans to work with him'.

Strictly lovers sign up for Celebrity Race Across The World – and they've already secretly filmed BBC hit

STRICTLY lovers Molly Rainford and Tyler West have signed up for Celebrity Race Across The World - and they've already secretly filmed the BBC hit. Molly, 24, and Tyler, 29, who found romance on the Saturday night favourite in 2022, have taken on the broadcaster's gruelling travel challenge together. Swapping ballrooms for backpacks, fans will see the pair dash across continents without flights or mobile phones. A TV insider told The Sun: 'Molly and Tyler are a huge coup for the show. "They're popular with millions of viewers from their stints on Strictly, and Molly will bring in loads of EastEnders fans too. "They are a very adventurous pair and have brilliant chemistry, so bosses are confident they will become huge fan favourites.' The last series of Celebrity Race Across the World aired last August and saw famous faces including Kelly Brook, Scott Mills, Jeff Brazier and Kola Bokinni race across South America. A rep for the show has been contacted for comment. EastEnders star Molly rose to fame for her performance on Britain's Got Talent when she was just 11 years old. Tyler began his presenting career on CBBC before being snapped up by Kiss FM for his very own show. The couple fell head over heels for each other when they both took to the Strictly dance floor in 2022. Last year, they spoke about their plans to take their relationship to the next step and move in together. Inside Molly Rainford and Tyler West's romantic weekend in Marbella as she strips to bikini at wild pool party Tyler told the Mail:"We are good and going strong and are actually moving in together - we're just going through, you know dining tables and sofas and all that kind of stuff, it's exciting. "Molly's turned into a whole interior designer so I'm just taking a complete back seat!" Sharing cute videos of them kissing in their empty living room they said: "Well guys, it was only right that we let you into our little home, the next part of our journey starts now." There were rumours an engagement ring was on the cards for the couple after they went on a romantic trip to Paris. Molly previously addressed the engagement clamour in an interview with The Sun. She told us at the tail end of 2023: "Not just yet. I think we will get Christmas out of the way and then go from there." 3 3

Strictly romance ‘exposed' as Jowita drops biggest clue yet she's dating co-star after Pete romance rumour

A STRICTLY Come Dancing romance has been 'exposed'. The long-running BBC show is no stranger to its stars forming romantic bonds. 4 4 The Sun revealed last year how Jowita and fellow Strictly dancer Vito Coppola had reportedly grown closer. A source said at the time: 'There have been several flings going on under the radar this year but people are talking behind the scenes. 'The chemistry on set is palpable. "But Vito is very respectful of Jowita and has been trying to woo her all series." Taking to Reddit, fans have now shared a new "clue" that the pair are dating. They showed a screenshot from Jowita's Instagram story, where she'd posted an Italy fact. It read: "Study shows that eating Tiramisu in Italy scientifically makes you happier." For much of Strictly 2024, Jowita and celeb partner Pete Wicks were rumoured to be dating. The Polish dancer was also linked to contestant and EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick, According to a report, the two had a fling while filming the series towards the end of last year. The pair initially met in 2023 when Jamie won the Strictly Christmas special, with them then hitting it off last autumn. Jowita takes savage swipe at Strictly ex after they were caught kissing backstage at BBC show A source told MailOnline at the time: "Jowita and Jamie grew really close while filming Strictly. "Things did get romantic between them, Jowita loves Jamie's playfulness and sense of humour, not to mention he's a very talented dancer." The source then touched on how rumours about Jowita and Pete Wicks allowed her connection with Jamie to "go under the radar". Meanwhile, Jowita previously dated former Strictly pro Giovanni Pernice. And last month, it appeared the show favourite took a savage swipe at her ex. The Sun revealed in 2022 how the show pros enjoyed a secret tryst after Jowita won that year's series with Hamza Yassin. While the pair split just three months later, it appears the Polish dancer is still holding a grudge. In a TikTok video, Jowita danced to Gladdest – Done With Your Ex (Shake It To The Max Remix) by Moliy and Silent Addy, in what fans believed was a not-so-subtle dig at Giovanni. She wrote in her caption: "Dance it. I had to, it's a viiibe! #vibes #ex #womenpower." Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One and iPlayer. 4
