Paws up, little monsters! Lady Gaga is throwing the Mayhem Ball Tour this summer. The pop icon will kick off the tour in Las Vegas on July 16, following her 2025 headlining sets at Coachella. The Mayhem Ball Tour is coming to six North American cities before heading abroad to Europe and the UK. This tour is mainly arena-based, a notable change from Gaga's 2022 Chromatica Ball Tour.
'This is my first arena tour since 2018,' Gaga said about the venue shift. 'There's something electric about a stadium, and I love every moment of those shows. But with The MAYHEM Ball, I wanted to create a different kind of experience—something more intimate—closer, more connected—that lends itself to the live theatrical art I love to create."
Tickets for the Mayhem Ball Tour are now available, but this week it was announced that seven new dates have been added to the tour; three at San Francisco's Chase Center on July 22, 24, and 26, and four at L.A.'s Kia Forum on July 28, 29, August 1, and 2. Those tickets will be available for presale on April 24, and general sale begins April 29. Is Lady Gaga's ‘Wednesday' Role Everything It Seems?

When Lady Gaga signed on to Tim Burton's Wednesday for a guest-starring role, fan speculation ramped up in the spooky spheres. The internet seemingly manifested this casting with a TikTok setting the iconic season one scene of Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) at the Rave n' Dance to Lady Gaga's 'Bloody Mary' from her 2011 hit album Born This Way. The moment went viral, and the trend reached the pop star, who performed the dance on her social media before announcing she would be joining the Wednesday cast. BLOODY WEDNESDAY #fyp ♬ original sound – Paul During Netflix's Tudum event, Gaga performed a medley of her dark pop music, complete with an army of Wednesdays to do the dance, while inviting Ortega on stage for a meal of a moment. It really ratcheted up the excitement, but little was known about who Gaga would be portraying. In an official X post, Netflix described her role as Rosaline Rotwood, a 'legendary' teacher at Nevermore Academy. This cryptic detail was also shared: Rosaline Rotwood. Cloaked in mystery with a reputation that precedes her. Our paths will surely cross. Welcome to mayhem @LadyGaga. — Wednesday Addams (@wednesdayaddams) June 1, 2025However, in a recent conversation with Entertainment Tonight, Ortega decided to throw a little signature chaos into the discourse of who Gaga is really playing. 'She's not a teacher,' Ortega revealed. 'She's not. Whatever you heard, it's wrong.' So that brings us to some Gagaspeculation of who Stefani Germanotta might really be playing when season two of Wednesday returns with its second set of episodes. Spoilers below!Wednesday season two has thus far teased many roles Gaga's Rosaline Rotwood, legendary teacher, could potentially step into. Let's break them down: Ophelia Frump: Morticia's missing sister possessed similar powers to Wednesday and was driven mad by them. After finding out what LOIS is—the Willow Hill secret experiments on outcasts to transfer powers to normies—you're led to believe this is probably where Ophelia ended up. At the end you see Wednesday interact with a woman whose identity we're unsure of; she thanks her 'angel' for saving her. It feels purposefully unclear if it's Ophelia or Tyler's mother. I personally don't think it's Ophelia at the end (it's probably Tyler's mom based off the normie vibes), and I hope Gaga will still play the missing Frump sister to Catherine Zeta-Jones' Morticia. They both can sing, so it would be even more fitting. Tyler's Mom: This would be too on the nose, if the woman at the end was Ophelia and not Tyler's mom. Mother Monster playing a monster's mother? Please, no. New ancestral power spirit guide: This can go so many ways. Perhaps Ophelia died and she's going to be Wednesday's guide, whom she meets while in her coma. Or maybe her spirit guide is a former teacher (not current) named Rosaline Rotwood, whom she could meet in her purgatorial bedridden state. Imagine your spirit wandering school halls while in near death? Now, that's hell. Debbie Jelinsky: Okay, this is more joke speculation but it would have been fun to see Gaga as a Debbie Jelinsky type of character, the black widow bride who was iconically played by Joan Cusack in The Addams Family Values. Fester already had a love story with the Willow Hill lunch lady (not played by Gaga), so this is probably not in the cards unless they get Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan to do it in a later season; her impression is dead-on, plus she is in the Netflix family. Wednesday season two part one is currently streaming on Netflix; part two drops September 3. Want more io9 news? Watch Gracie Abrams Cover Taylor Swift's ‘All Too Well' During L.A. Concert

Gracie Abrams took a moment from her show to play a song that isn't hers, but that her fans definitely know: 'All Too Well (10 Minute Version).' During her show at the Kia Forum on Thursday, the musician played the Taylor Swift favorite. 'It just is not lost on me that the reason that a lot of us know each other is because I got to meet many of you through doing the Eras Tour with Taylor,' Abrams told the crowd. 'I just feel like I'm forever missing what that experience was. I know we all feel that way … I wanted to sing a song for you that I'll forever wish I wrote, if you've got 10 minutes.' More from Rolling Stone Drummergeddon 2025: Why We're Witnessing a Global Percussion Apocalypse Charlotte Lawrence Loves Gracie Abrams and Sad Songs, But Rightfully Hates Men Who Vape Sorry, Trump - Taylor Swift's Career Is Still Very Hot Before performing, she shared that she and Swift had talked 'earlier today,' so it seemed fitting for her to play a song by her friend. Abrams was one of the many openers of Swift's Eras Tour in 2023 and 2024, and even joined Swift onstage during her part of the show several times. During one night in London, Swift and Abrams sang 'Us' together, in Toronto, they did a mash-up of 'Us' and 'Out of the Woods,' and during one of the final nights in Vancouver, the pair performed 'I Love You, I'm Sorry' and 'Last Kiss.' When she was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammys last year, Abrams spoke to Rolling Stone about the most significant milestone moments of the year, and spoke of joining Swift on the road, saying she gained experience 'from watching Taylor's show as many times as I have and just kind of being in close proximity to her, learning from her as a musician and as a friend and as a business person.' Swift and Abrams dueted on 'Us' on Abrams' The Secret of Us album. 'I am currently smiling and sweating thinking about it, and I'll never get over the shock of seeing this one on the tracklist. You know how I feel,' Abrams wrote on X when she dropped the song. Abrams is nearing the end of her The Secret of Us Deluxe tour with shows at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Mexico City's Pepsi Center WTC still left before the end of August. Lady Gaga Breaks Her Own Hot 100 Record

Lady Gaga's 'Die With a Smile' spends 50 weeks on the Hot 100, becoming her longest-charting hit and surpassing 'Just Dance,' which lasted 49 weeks. SNL50: THE RED CARPET — Pictured: Lady Gaga on Sunday, February 16, 2025 — (Photo by NBC/Noam Galai/NBC via Getty Images) Noam Galai/NBC via Getty Images Lady Gaga is primarily known as a dance-pop musician. She got her start in that style and helped repopularize electronic music all around the world more than a decade ago. Throughout the years she's been a superstar, the singer-songwriter has tried her hand at other genres and found great success in some cases. One of her most recent singles, 'Die With a Smile,' favors vintage instrumentation and a '70s R&B/pop vibe, and that proved to be a winning mix for both her and partner Bruno Mars. This frame, the cut earns another special place in Gaga's catalog as it remains one of the biggest tunes in America. 'Die With a Smile' has spent 50 weeks on the Hot 100 as of this frame. It is now Gaga's first tune to make it to that milestone number on Billboard's most competitive songs chart, which ranks the most consumed tunes in the U.S. by blending airplay, sales, and streaming activity. As it hits 50 weeks on the 100-spot ranking, 'Die With a Smile' breaks out of a tie with 'Just Dance,' Gaga's first smash. That tune, a collaboration with Colby O'Donis, stood as Gaga's longest-running Hot 100 win for well over a decade, as it managed 49 stays beginning in mid-2008. That was a massive success at the time, as the tally was compiled in a different manner. Streaming activity was not yet factored into chart methodology, and there weren't rules that removed tunes after a certain length of time if they didn't sit above a specific level. Streams have helped keep smashes on the Hot 100 for longer and longer stretches, and 'Die With a Smile' isn't done yet. As the smash becomes Gaga's longest-running Hot 100 hit, it remains one of the top 10 biggest songs in America this week. 'Die With a Smile' keeps at No. 10 yet again, a position it has occupied for several periods in a row. In two weeks, it will almost certainly become Gaga's first one-year winner on the competitive tally. When it comes to Mars' discography, 'Die With a Smile' is his third hit to reach 50 weeks on the Hot 100. The Grammy-winning tune is just two frames behind 'That's What I Like,' and it will need to live on the list for another half-dozen turns before it matches 'Uptown Funk' — his song with Mark Ronson — in terms of longevity. 'Die With a Smile' appears on half a dozen U.S.-based Billboard rankings this frame. It lives inside the top 10 on a trio of radio lists, including the Adult Pop Airplay, Radio Songs, and Adult Contemporary charts, and holds on inside the top five on all of them. While it's no longer a bestseller, 'Die With a Smile' also appears at No. 35 on the all-genre Streaming Songs tally, where it also celebrates 50 weeks.
