Caitlin Clark's 'realistic' return date revealed as more worrying details emerge over WNBA star's injury

Caitlin Clark is expected to be out for a few more weeks as the WNBA superstar continues to struggle with injury. That is according to the latest reports on the Indiana Fever icon, who has sat out four consecutive games. She has now missed a total of 13 games this season. On Sunday, Clark was again absent for Indiana's clash with the Chicago Sky as she battles a groin problem picked up against the Connecticut Sun on July 15. Fever coach Stephanie White recently said that Clark is 'day-to-day' but, on Sunday, ESPN reported that the 23-year-old may not be back on the court until mid-August. 'She did see a specialist last week and no additional injury was found in that exam and scans,' Holly Rowe said on the Fever-Sky broadcast. 'Stephanie White did tell us that they will be even more cautious in their approach to her return to play this time.' Clark did not miss a single game at Iowa or during her rookie year in the WNBA but this is the latest in a number of issues for the 23-year-old. 'Last time when she came back from injury, she didn't get any practice time (or) any time to ramp up her conditioning,' Rowe explained. 'This time, they're going to make sure she has time and practices to get rhythm and time with her teammates. 'As you look at their schedule, the third week in August provides a few more practice days where that seems like it's realistic. While she does remain day-to-day, that's seems like a better timetable for a possible Caitlin Clark return.' Indiana faces five games over the next 11 days before their busy schedule eases up slightly, with only one game between August 16 and August 22. Clark is still traveling with the Fever and she was on the sidelines for Sunday's 93-78 win against the Sky. Angel Reese also missed the game after suffering a back injury.

Ice Cube makes brutal Angel Reese admission amid Caitlin Clark rivalry

Caitlin Clark may have turned down a multi-million-dollar offer from Ice Cube's BIG3 league but Angel Reese won't be getting her sloppy seconds. The Indiana Fever sensation was reportedly offered a staggering $15million to join the 3-on-3 basketball league, founded by the rapper and co-owner Jeff Kwatinetz. However, the 23-year-old failed to join their roster with the offer of a sensational payday reportedly never even reaching Clark. After failing to land Clark, the BIG3 honchos could have turned to her biggest rival and fellow WNBA star, Reese. But Ice Cube swiftly shut down that suggestion with a brutal snub of the Chicago Sky forward. The musician made it clear that a similar offer would not be finding its way to Reese when questioned about the situation by TMZ this week. Ice Cube insisted that it wasn't an intentional snub of Reese's game, instead explaining that the league believed the former No 7 pick wouldn't have the same financial draw as Clark. He claimed that the league's sponsors had assured him that Clark's signing would have brought a massive financial boost but advised him that Reese would not have the same effect. 'They didn't tell us the same thing about Angel Reese,' he said. 'I don't know if we can make that same offer.' BIG3's offer would have front-loaded a huge payday for Clark to become the first woman to play in a North American men's professional basketball league, per Bleacher Report. Clark's offer from Big3 would have included a $10million in salary over two years, plus 'a percentage of team ownership worth millions, 50 percent of merchandising revenues from her name and likeness, and ownership of a BIG3 documentary with a seven-figure advance,' per Kwatinetz. Big3 started in 2017 but has not reached the popularity of the WNBA, and has not come close to the NBA. However, Ice Cube appeared pleased with the progress of his league this week, boasting about the 2025 season so far. 'We got some great players,' he said. 'Lance Stephenson, Dwight Howard. Wesley Johnson's been great, Montrezl Harrell's been great. The league has been must-see TV for sure.'

Where to buy Lionesses football shirts to arrive in time for tomorrow's Euro 2025 game

The England women's football team are playing in the Euro 2025 final tomorrow afternoon, and we'll all be cheering on – and if you want to get the kit before kick-off, here's your best chance If you'll be showing your support for the Lionesses by watching as they play in the final of the Women's Euro 2025 tournament tomorrow afternoon (and really, who won't be?) and want to wear the official England kit in support, we've found out how you may still be able to get it delivered in time for the big game – but you'll need to be quick. The best selection of women's England football shirts, shorts and other kit is available from retailers such as Fanatics and Nike, but these won't arrive by tomorrow – although if time isn't an issue, this is where you'll find the biggest selection of sizes and options. However, you can also find the official Nike Football Dri-FIT Euro 2025 England home shirt available on ASOS, priced at £84.99, and if you're an ASOS Premier member you get next day delivery, meaning it'll arrive tomorrow. You do have to be quick though, as next day delivery cuts off at around 8pm. Next day delivery also means that it could be delivered any time between 7am-10pm, so there's a chance it may turn up after kick-off. However, if you're desperate to look the part, this is your best chance. They're selling fast on ASOS though so you'll need to be quick, with the away shirt already out of stock on the website, and a few sizes of the home kit sold out too. ASOS Premier costs £9.95 for the whole year and gets you free next day delivery on all your orders, making it great value if you're a regular shopper (and a last-minute one). Otherwise, England fans can pick up their Lionesses shirt from Fanatics or the England Store, with several different options available including the Home Stadium Shirt (£84.99) and Dri-FIT ADV Home Match Shirt (£124.99). Both options are also available in Mens and Kids sizes. Those preferring the black away kit can opt for the Away Stadium Shirt (£84.99) or the Dri-FIT ADV Away Match Shirt (£124.99). These are also available in Mens and Kids sizes. According to The FA, the away kit is inspired by the 'fearless optimism and leadership of the current and past Lionesses, with a nod to modern design'. In other football news, ahead of last week's semi-finals match, the England forward Chloe Kelly took to Instagram to share a picture of her and her fellow teammates on their way to the stadium. But keen-eyed fans may have noticed the pair of headphones placed beside Chloe, and we think we've figured out exactly what wireless noise-cancelling headphones she was using to get in the zone before training. these Sonos Ace headphones.
