One of Blake Lively's beauty secrets is now less than £20 at Boots
Blake Lively is known for her classic, natural looks. But how exactly does she maintain her star quality appearance? It has been revealed that one of her go-to skincare items is the CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF50 according to Women's Health - and you can buy it at Boots for £16.50.
This daily lightweight facial moisturiser with SPF 50 UVA/UVB protection promises to protect the skin's natural barrier and leaves skin feeling 'soothed and hydrated' for up to 24 hours.
It works best if you apply it in the morning following application of a CeraVe cleanser for maximal moisturising benefits.
It has also won the seal of approval from shoppers. One happy shopper enthused in their review: ' CeraVe Fragrance Free Daily Moisturiser With SPF50 is a great cream to apply in the morning as last step of the skincare routine because of SPF which protects the skin from harmful UVA/UVB rays.
'I do apply SPF all year round and I found this cream perfect for my dry skin type.
'Love the fact how well it hydrates my skin and leaves the glowy finish all day long without leaving a sticky or greasy feeling on the face, also it spreads easily without leaving any white traces on the skin. Recommend.'
Another said: 'This is a must have routine for dry skin. Having dry and flaky skin is not something that I want but thanks to this power duo, it is unbelievable how my skin changed since I started using it.
'The lotion is perfect for both mornings and evenings, with a lightweight formula that allows it to get absorbed easily without any greasiness left behind.'
It wasn't for everyone in the reviews, although the majority are overwhelmingly positive.
One person wrote: 'Can't get on with this cream. Too thick and doesn't get absorbed enough to apply make-up on top.
'Only bought it because I love the PM cream but was so disappointed in this one.'
Yet someone else added: ' The best product for dry skin, I love how it contains SPF 50 and it is fragrance free meaning that my skin barrier is protected from harsh chemicals. I love using this lotion the morning before applying makeup.'

L'Oreal buys British skincare brand Medik8
PARIS/LONDON, June 9 (Reuters) - L'Oreal ( opens new tab is to acquire British skincare brand Medik8, its owner, Britain-based private equity firm Inflexion, said on Monday, boosting the French cosmetics giant's offering in the fast-growing dermatological skincare market. The size of the deal was not disclosed. Medik8 focuses on vitamin A-based anti-ageing creams and serums. "The partnership with L'Oreal will allow Medik8 to deepen its presence in existing markets and expand globally. As part of the transaction, Inflexion will retain a minority shareholding in Medik8," the private equity firm said in a statement. L'Oreal's dermatological beauty division, which includes major brands like CeraVe, La Roche-Posay, and SkinCeuticals, has been its fastest growing in recent years, reaching revenues of 7 billion euros ($7.99 billion) last year, after growing almost 10% on the year before. The business, which also has the highest profit margin among its four divisions, has boomed on growing consumer interest in science-backed products, though growth has slowed recently due to rising competition. L'Oreal executives said this year they were pursuing acquisitions and looking to revive flagging growth. The company acquired Korean skincare brand, Dr.G, in December and also bought a minority stake in Oman-based perfume house Amourage last year. ($1 = 0.8757 euros)

Boots shoppers bag £40 box that gets £115 worth of Laura Mercier, No7 and more free
Products from top-name brands like Laura Mercier, Liz Earle, No7 and Shisedo have been reduced to £4 each as part of a beauty offer at Boots. This comes as the health and beauty retailer has released a Pamper Beauty Box that shoppers are saying is 'perfect' and 'great value.' Offering customers savings of over £115 on its contents, the box is priced at £40 but contains £156 worth of luxurious skincare and body care goodies. The lavish selection includes 10 pampering items, seven of which are full-sized, from popular brands such as Liz Earle, BYOMA, and Sundae. As part of this collection, each product averages at £4, a remarkable deal considering some items are valued at over £20 individually. For instance, the delectably fragranced Laura Mercier Soufflé Hand Cream in Almond Coconut - a premium hand cream with a velvety finish - would typically cost shoppers £28 on its own. Also exceeding £20 in value is the Bloom and Blossom Mission Moisture, a deeply hydrating body cream priced at £24. Shoppers have loved discovering the lesser-known brand, with one five star comment reading: 'I brought this last week or so, I love how it has introduced me to new brands such as Blossom. Also there is a good variety of items. Perfect for everyday use.' The edit also features the £28 Liz Earle Skin Repair Light Cream, which is a lightweight moisturiser, infused with skin-nourishing botanicals, hydrates the skin, making it a perfect choice for the warmer weather. Here's everything inside the Boots Pamper Beauty Box: Byoma Body Smoothing Body Serum 200ml – Full Size - £13.99 Sundae Orange Crush Whipped Shower Foam 265ml – Full Size - £12.95 First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads 28 – Full Size - £18 Liz Earle Skin Repair Light Cream 50ml – Full Size - £28 Laura Mercier Soufflé Hand Cream in Almond Coconut 50ml – Full Size - £28 Bloom and Blossom Mission Moisture Body Cream 200ml – Full Size - £24 Shiseido Vital Perfection Eye Mask 12g - £6 No7 Instant Results Nourishing Hydration Mask 100ml – Full Size - £14.95 Boots Wavy Jaw Clip (Pink) - £3 Lancaster Sun Perfect Illuminating Cream SPF50 3ml - £2.40 Boots isn't the only retailer offering self-care essentials to pamper customers. LookFantastic is selling the Summer Heroes Edit for £45, a significant bargain considering its value of over £150, saving buyers a whopping £105. This exclusive package includes six beauty treasures, four of which are full-sized items from luxury brands like Sol de Janeiro and ESPA. Space NK is also offering an exciting collection inspired by the viral TikTok trend 'the everything shower'. This luxurious assortment of bath, body, and haircare products costs £70 but is worth £165, featuring renowned brands such as Sol de Janeiro, Living Proof and Alpha-H. However, it's important to remember that these boxes are pre-selected, leaving no room for personalisation. This could mean that buyers might not fancy one or two items, or some contents may not be suitable for their skin type. Therefore, we always advise reviewing the full contents before proceeding to 'add to basket'. That said, so far the Boots Pamper Edit has received nothing but five star reviews. One commented: 'Amazing box, pretty much full sized everything except the little sample sized sun cream with a claw clip and pair of luxury eye masks thrown in. This box is well thought out and put together with a lovely selection of products perfect for pampering. There are no duds as with some boxes and the price is very good value. Really happy with this.' Many have even given it as a gift, which looks way more expensive than the price you pay. 'Great little gift for the wife, great value for money,' said one, while another added: 'Got it for my sister as a gift, looks lovely, great products for really good price, love it.' The
