Your $99.99 will buy you a respectably powerful octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor here, mind you, as well as an excellent Dolby Atmos-enhanced dual speaker system and a not-too-bad IPS screen with 1340 x 800 pixels resolution. In short, you're looking at a perfectly acceptable little entertainment option for your summer travels, daily work commute, and school recess. The battery life is also pretty good (for $99.99), at up to 12.5 hours of uninterrupted YouTube streaming (that's a lot of MrBeast content!), and even the 15W charging support is... not terrible. What's undeniably and inexcusably bad is that the Lenovo Tab One runs Android 14 out the box in 2025 with only one major OS update guaranteed to take place (sooner or later), but hey, at least the tablet comes with Google Play support unlike Amazon's Fire devices.
All in all, this is by no means a perfect gadget (even by $99.99 standards), but I don't think you can do better at that price today and I believe that will be true tomorrow, this entire week, and quite possibly, during the actual Black Friday 2025 festivities of November as well. Oppo K13 Turbo will be joined by the K13 Turbo Pro and both have fans
The Oppo K13 Turbo first leaked back in April when we found out it would have a built-in cooling fan. Then, a couple of days ago, it seemingly ran Geekbench revealing its chipset, RAM amount, and Android version. But there's a plot twist. According to newly leaked promotional materials, the device that was benchmarked was actually the K13 Turbo Pro, which will launch alongside the K13 Turbo. The Pro model is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, while the non-Pro device is equipped with MediaTek's Dimensity 8450 chipset instead. Both of them feature a built-in cooling fan, and both will inevitably be aimed at mobile gamers. The K13 Turbo Pro will be available in four RAM/storage combos: 12/256GB, 16/256GB, 12/512GB, and 16/512GB. The K13 Turbo, on the other hand, will have to do with just three: 12/256GB, 16/256GB, and 12/512GB. The image above purportedly shows one of them, with a very visible cutout in the side of its case for the fan. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 in for review
Ivan, 13 July 2025 The Galaxy Z Fold7 has arrived at the office, and that means it's time to unbox it. There are no surprises here - you get a SIM tool and a USB-C cable. Samsung does give you the 512GB storage for the base price during the pre-order period, which is nice! The phone is available in Blue, Black, and Silver, and will ship from July 25. Samsung finally gave the cover screen a regular aspect of 21:9, and along with the much slimmer and lighter body the Galaxy Z Fold7 really feels like a regular phone when closed. It's something you need to experience in real life, so go to your local store and hold the Galaxy Z Fold7 for a while! A great cover display When open, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is now a more expansive canvas than before. It's a noticeable difference from the Galaxy Z Fold6, too. Also, unlike the vivo X Fold5 and its glossy, slightly-rounded frame, the Galaxy Z Fold7's flat and matte sides are easier to pry open. Speaking of the frame, here it is compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Ultra is thinner at 8.2mm, though it's not immediately noticeable when looking at the two side-by-side. Side-by-side with the Galaxy S25 Ultra The Galaxy Z Fold7 snagged the main camera from the Galaxy S25 Ultra. We know what the 200MP imager can do. It's an excellent performer with superb dynamic range, colors, and excellent detail retention! It's a big step up from the Galaxy Z Fold6's main shooter. The ultrawide got autofocus, which is a nice touch! Sadly, Samsung kept the 4,400mAh battery from the Galaxy Z Fold6, and even sadder, it only charges at a maximum of 25 watts. That's very disappointing in 2025 and given this phone's competition. Anyway - there's a lot to test on this one, so we'll now be handing it over to our experts to do their magic!
