The extra-long show will air from 7pm until 9.45pm on ITV1, giving plenty of opportunity to create more shocking moments we've come to expect from a BGT final.
From Susan Boyle's meltdown to serious injuries happening on live TV, lets look back at some of the most outrageous times on a BGT final.
Sydnie's Big Win

One of the most recent BGT controversies happened last year when Sydnie Christmas was crowned the winner in the 2024 final.
Even though she was a receptionist at a gym working on a zero-hour contract while competing on BGT, viewers were incensed that she'd had already a brief career in music.
Before Britain's Got talent, the singer appeared in E4's reality show Stage School.
Amanda's Threads

BGT fans love to complain about Amanda's outfits

Every year, a number of fans moan about what judge Amanda Holden wears during the final, with some even complaining to media regulator, Ofcom.
One racy outfit in 2017, managed to rack up 663 to Ofcom and last year complained her final outfit showed too much cleavage and she seemed "half undressed."
Amanda joked about the reaction to her sexy fits in an interview with The Sun.
'I have a whole 't*t committee' [in the production team] that watches everything [ to prevent 'accidents']," she said in February.
"Hopefully they'll keep an eye on Bruno's t*ts as well, because I think he shows far more than I do at the moment!'

Another shocking moment that happened during a BGT final last year occurred when a member of the Ssaulabi Performance Troupe was rushed to hospital after colliding with a fellow performer during a mesmerising martial arts routine.
The South Korean taekwondo artist was pictured limping into an ambulance after making a quick exit from London's Hammersmith Apollo.
He later shared a photo of his leg in a metal brace, held together by all manner of pins and covered in bandaging.
Susan's Unhappy State

International sensation, Susan Boyle, was unimpressed with Simon Cowell's compliments

One of the icons of BGT is Susan Boyle, whose captivating voice made her an international star.
The Scottish singer shocked guests at a plush hotel in London by bursting into a jealous rage during a BGT semi-final.
The church-going 63-year-old year old became furious when her favourite judge, Piers Morgan, complimented fellow contestant Shaheen Jafargholi instead of her.
As Piers declared the Welsh schoolboy's act as "the finest singing performance we have witnessed in the semi-finals thus far," Susan - who admitted she had a crush on Piers - stuck two fingers up at the telly and shouted 'f***off'.
Fix Rows

Much like complaints about Amanda's outfits, BGT is often plagued with accusations of 'fixing' the show to favour the judges' preferred contestants.
This was none more apparent in 2022 when American singer, Loren Allred, was given a coveted Golden Buzzer during her first appearance on the show.
She had a stellar singing history prior to appearing on the ITV show which included stints on The Voice and The Greatest Showman.
The Sun revealed how Loren found major success in the US after singing the anthem Never Enough in global hit movie The Greatest Showman.
Yet it has now come to light how she also received expert assistance from Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine while on The Voice.
She even competed to win a recording contract on the US version of the talent show in 2012, telling the coaches her occupation was 'pianist and wedding singer'.
Loren defended her experience in the music industry - insisting: "I am an unsigned, independent artist still trying to make a name for myself.'
Loren said: 'Even though I have spent a lot of years in the music industry, people don't know who I am. Over all these years I've been fighting for my chance to be known and to make it.

Emmerdale fans 'work out' who gets framed for Mack's 'death' in sick revenge
Emmerdale viewers fear a character is going to be set up for the reported murder of Mackenzie Boyd amid claims the character will bow out of the ITV soap at the hands of John Sugden With a murder said to be looming on Emmerdale, fans believe a character could be framed for the horrific crime in a sickening revenge twist. Reports have emerged that John Sugden is about to claim his next and possibly final victim, and now fans think someone else will be blamed. John has so far gotten away with murdering Nate Robinson, injuring Aidan Moore and orchestrating a string of other incidents to play the hero. Now it's claimed Mackenzie Boyd will be killed off in a brutal new twist. It comes as reports stated actor Lawrence Robb was bowing out of the ITV soap after five years, as part of a twist involving killer John. According to the rumours, Mack will rumble John's crimes and it will lead to Mack's gruesome death. But will it be poor Robert Sugden left to face punishment for the crime amid his feud with his villainous brother John? John has made it abundantly clear he wants Robert out of the way, deliberately targeting him and this is only set to continue. Amid spoilers revealing Robert and ex Aaron Dingle grow closer, sparking affair predictions, we will see Aaron's husband John desperate to keep the pair apart. So how far will he go to get rid of his brother, and could it see Robert sent back to prison? Robert was released earlier this year after six years inside over the death of Lee Posner. Fans are now concerned that if Mack is killed off, John will cover his tracks and pin it all on Robert to get him locked up yet again. One fan posted on social media: "John better not frame Robert for Mack's murder." Another viewer said: "He'll probably frame Robert and Aaron carries on being blind until next spring." It comes as actor Lawrence addressed the rumoured exit for the first time on Loose Women on Wednesday. He said: "There are lots of rumours, and rumours they shall remain", before adding: "I've always said that being in the show that I never want to be too prescriptive with it. " But when asked how he would feel about being killed off, he admitted that he would always feel grateful for the time he's had on the show, as he issued a warning to fans. He said: "I've always enjoyed doing what I'm doing. If, and when, the time to leave comes, whether that would be my choice or the choice of the producers, then I will be thankful for the time that I've had. Ultimately, no one is safe in the show", before quipping: "Especially not in that village!" On the future for Mack amid a row with his wife Charity Dingle and the stuff with John, Lawrence recently remained coy but did hint at bad things ahead. He simply said: "It's not looking good." Lawrence went on: "Whilst Mackenzie has got the argument with Charity on his plate, he's also got a pretty critical moment with John on his plate as well. And, combine these two things and it does not spell good things." Princess Andre's 'dark' world as Katie Price's ex Kieran Hayler issues grovelling statement
Katie Price's marriage to her third husband was marred by toxicity, persistent infidelity and a 'Mucky Mansion' - now Princess Andre has spoken of her childhood pain Princess Andre has a new reality show and The Princess Diaries is already giving us plenty of insight into her relationship with mum Katie Price. One of the big takeaways from the the ITV show is that the 18-year-old influencer's admission that Katie's troubled past had led her to experience things 'kids shouldn't see'. "I wish I could have had a happier childhood," she said. "I had so much on my plate at such a young age and had things at the back of my mind." Princess, who is the daughter of Katie's first husband Peter Andre, was 10 when her mum split from third husband Kieran Hayler after five years together. "Mum was heartbroken and she went through a dark time and it was things kids shouldn't see and when we needed our mum there, she wasn't there because she had her own problems," the teenager said on the show. "I'm not healed or fully recovered from it but mum has fixed herself compared to how she was back then." Katie, 47, and Kieran married in Weston-Super-Mare in 2013 and went onto have two children together, Jett and Bunny. They renewed their vows in Barbados in 2016 on what was said to be a make or break holiday, with Kieran cheating on Katie multiple times throughout the course of their relationship. One of Kieran's mistresses was Jane Pountney, Katie's friend of 20 years and he cheated on her with a second pal, Chrissy Thomas. The vow renewal didn't work - in 2017 the former glamour model found out Kieran had been unfaithful once more with their children's nanny, Nikki Brown and the following year they went their separate ways. "He did a lot of stuff and when they split up everything kind of went downhill," said Princess. "My mum, obviously being heartbroken, didn't deal with that the best way. She went through a very, very like dark time, which is understandable." Katie later opened up about her 'toxic' marriage to Kieran, blaming him for the 'disgusting' state of her home and her depression, which saw her want to stay sleep all day. The 38-year-old reality star told the Daily Mail this week he would love to apologise in person to Princess for the impact his troubled relationship with Katie had on her. "I am as sorry as I can be to Princess witnessing us go through such a horrible separation," he said. "Leaving them was one of the hardest things I ever had to do." But Kieran, who revealed he longer has a relationship with his former step-children, also told the publication he had been the best step dad he could be. "I regret the way things happened but at the same time those are issues I never put around the children, they were put around the children by everything becoming so public," he said. Kieran moved on with Michelle Penticost and they had son Apollo before they split earlier this year. In 2019, Michelle secured a restraining order against Katie for harassing her.

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THE Chase has aired its 'worst final ever' which saw a singular player caught in just twenty seconds. It took The Beast quizzer Mark Labbett just five questions to knock out player Nicola but could you have answered all five in just twenty seconds? Sign up for the Entertainment newsletter Sign up 3 The Chase viewers have called out the show's 'worst' ever final Credit: ITV 3 The Beast managed to wipe her out in 20 seconds Credit: ITV During the episode, three of the four players found themselves knocked out by The Beast. Bradley Walsh watched on as the players were whittled off one-by-one. In the end, only Nicola remained to take on the final chase but it was clear from the get-go she was out of her depth. Nicola getting to the final chase had already beaten the odds after she actually performed the worst in her cash builder round. She managed to accumulate just £2,000 in comparison to Casey's £5k and Ian's £8,000. However, both were eliminated before making it to the end. Determined to beat Mark, Nicola spent two minutes answering general knowledge questions but only managed to get a total of four right. This left her with a grand total of five including her one point head start. Admitting she had a "feeling she'd be caught", she was indeed thanks to Mark needing just twenty seconds to knock her out. Mark got all five questions right straight away - but would you have fared just as well? The Chase's Jenny Ryan gobsmacked as she wins Celebrity Catchphrase in record time Firstly, Bradley asked the star: "What type of fashion acceseroy is a trilby?" He answered correctly with "hat" before the star host moved onto the second question. Bradley asked him: "Eric 'Butterbean' Esch has 58 KOs in what sport?" The correct answer was boxing. For Mark's third question, he was asked: "Zodiac and Consul were brands by which carmaker?" Mark shot back quickly with the correct answer of "Ford" before Bradley asked him: "James Collinson was a member of which artistic brotherhood?" Whizzing through in just 15 seconds, Mark correctly identified the answer to be: "Pre-Raphelite." His final question to catch hapless Nicola was: "'Frosch' is the German word for what amphibian?" Hardest Quiz Show Questions Would you know the answers to some of quizzing TV's hardest questions Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - Earlier this year, fans were left outraged after what they described as the "worst" question in the show's history. Host Jeremy Clarkson asked: 'From the 2000 awards ceremony onwards, the Best Actress Oscar has never been won by a woman whose surname begins with which one of these letters?' The multiple choice answers were between G, K, M and W. In the end, and with the £32,000 safe, player Glen had to make a guess and went for G. It turned out to be correct as Nicole Kidman, Frances McDormand and Kate Winslet are among the stars who have won the Best Actress gong since 2000. - Earlier this year, fans were left outraged after what they described as the "worst" question in the show's history. The 1% Club - Viewers of Lee Mack's popular ITV show were left dumbfounded by a question that also left the players perplexed. The query went as follows: "Edna's birthday is on the 6th of April and Jen's birthday falls on the 15th of October, therefore Amir's birthday must be the 'X' of January." It turns out the conundrum links the numbers with its position in the sentence, so 6th is the sixth word and 15th is the fifteenth word. Therefore, Amir's birthday is January 24th, corresponding to the 24th word in the sentence. - Viewers of Lee Mack's popular ITV show were left dumbfounded by a question that also left the players perplexed. The Chase - The ITV daytime favourite left fans scratching their heads when it threw up one of the most bizarre questions to ever grace the programme. One of the questions asked the player: "Someone with a nightshade intolerance should avoid eating what?" The options were - sweetcorn, potatoes, carrots - with Steve selecting sweetcorn but the correct answer was potatoes. Claiming the title with more than one minute and forty seconds left on the clock, Mark affirmed: "Frog." Nicola's disaster performance led many viewers to quip that it was the show's "worst final ever". Commenting after the episode aired online, one viewer said: "I actually feel dumber from watching that episode [face palm emoji]." Another added: "That was the worst team I've ever seen." A third was quick to say of the "failure": "Never ever have I seen such a failure... 2k in the pot! ... Only 5 questions to be answered! "Done in 20 seconds! Shocking" As someone else echoed: "Shocking final chase."
